(Sorry, this is the earliest I could post. Got interrupted twice.)
That still helps, though. Thanks Azriel. Okay then, if you'd all follow me, I'll take you to my town. From the river, we should be able to reach it if we move northeast. Sira didn't know what to expect when she returned. Did time run the same way on every planet, or could she have been gone for longer than she thought? Maybe later she could ask one of the veteran Saber Knights.
After a very uneventful trek that isn't worth going into detail about, the group finally reached civilization. From their direction they could see stone houses of gray, white, and red lining the streets. Buildings of different design hinted at stores and other commercial businesses. The road was a hard, tan dirt. The strong breeze, coming in the direction of the river, occasionally stirred it into clouds of dust. A fair distance away in the center of town was a paved square, in the middle of which stood an intricate fountain.
There were a fair amount of people around, some were leading camels and even horses through the streets, carrying their goods or worldly possessions on their backs.
Sira turned to the Saber Knights. This is my hometown. Tanisian. She told happily told them. I'm guessing you're all gonna stay at my place, so I'll take you there. Unless you maybe want to look around first.

By the end of the trek, Eskay was exhausted. The sun's merciless rays were really tiring her out. And the heat... the heat. It was miserable. Having lived in a mountanious region all her life, Eskay wasn't in the slightest accustomed to heat of this degree.
Eskay was so excited to reach their destination, she could have jumped for joy, except that took too much effort in this weather. She shook her head vehemetly at Sira's idea of walking around. "Nooo.... NO!" she said firmly. "You guys... can go and walk around in this miserable heat as long as you feel like, but I'm going where there's some shade!"

Re: Saber Knight Saga
Oh! The long walk had made Sira forget that some of her friends may not be used to the heat of her world. I'm sorry! I forgot! I'm sorry Eskay. On second thought, some of you are probably tired. Eskay's right, I should probably take you all to my house first. That way you can rest if you want. She turned to Eskay, suddenly becoming aware of her friend's fatigue. Uh, do you need a hand getting there?

((Oh, did I mention Seraphina was still there? Probably should've :P))
"N-no, I'm fine," Eskay said, refusing Sira's assistance. I can take care of myself, she thought silently. Nearby, Seraphina stood, but she didn't seem to be affected by the heat as much. Well, at least she wasn't showing it. How she could be so fine when she was wearing a large black cape, Eskay had no idea. Why she was still following their group, Eskay had no idea as well. But, she didn't seem threatening, at least at the moment, so Eskay didn't worry about it.

Agnamatus wasn't doing anything at the springs when he was suddenly transported to the sacred realm. Well it's about time, he thought. As he watched the other saber knight's patron deities. talk to him, he waited for one of his the Greek gods to show up. Eventually, he saw a shining flash, and then Apollo appeared before him.
"Agnamatus, it is time for you and your friends to head to Egypt. I fear there is something dark going on that might threaten not only the entire dimention, but also the saftey of one of the original sacred sabers. I wish you luck."
The sun god disapeard, but Agnamatus could have sworn his head turned into that of a falcon's. Just as suddenly as he was transported to the sacred realm, he found himself sprawled out on a hot, grassy area.
"Uggh. It is of my honest opinion that I am slowly going insane," he muttered to himself. He sat up to get a better look at his surroundings, but with the sun in his eyes, he could only see pyramids, palm trees, and savanna. Well, at least I'll get a good tan... oh wait. I'm already tan. While Azriel was still in the air, Agnamatus asked him, "Hey, did you see any cities or towns? There might be a temple there and it's my best guess that that's where we're going to find out what we're supposed to do here." He then saw the raptor... thing run around a few palm tries for a few minutes before it shouted that there was a town nearby. Now that thing is insane.

((That post belongs in the OOC thread, BFC.
Just a little plot stff. *insert dramatic music here*))
The entire room was deathly silent. At a long rectangular table sat several figures. Each had a pitch-black cape draped over their shoulders, but apart from that they were all garbed in very different styles, and each looked very different. The only similar trait between all of them was their piercing red eyes.
At the head of the table sat a man who was clearly in charge. He had long black hair that contrasted sharply with his pale skin. He was wearing golden shoulder plates from which his black cape portruded. In his hand was a dark scepter with the head of a strange animal at the top. The eyes of the animal were made from rubies, and they seemed to be glowing, eerily enough. Beside the man was an empty chair.
There was one other empty chair at the table. It was at that chair which the man in charge's attention was directed. Finally, the man spoke.
"So..." His voice broke the silence. "Palkia's Knight has failed us."
"Yes," growled a man at the table. "She was too weak."
"Indeed. A weak Knight like her deserves no place on our Council." Absentmindedly, he twirled his scepter in his hands. "But she yet lives." The man at the table who had spoken earlier stood up immediatly.
"What?!" he demanded incredulously. "I fried her!"
"Oh, come on. She may be weak, but she's not that weak," a woman at the table said with a roll of her eyes. "You honestly thought that finished her off? Now, if it were up to me..." she boasted, "...that girl would be LONG dead."
"Why you little..."
"Enough." The man at the head of the table didn't even need to raise his voice in the slightest. When he spoke, the two stopped arguing immediatly. "Haruki, Asteria, stop your pointless arguing. The fact is, Palkia's Knight is still alive, and I..." He paused, and a small smile came to his features, "...I think this could be benificial. It makes things far more... interesting. The happy little band with which she now travels is.... very, very interesting.
"But, enough talk of this. I've got more plans...."

Re: Saber Knight Saga
Meanwhile, back in Egypt, Agnamatus wasn't doing much better than Eskay. The base of Olympus where he lived never got this hot at all, nor did the sun shine so bright. Apollo made sure never to get the sun to close to the earth, but it looked like the sun god of this place got some sick amusement watching millions of people sweat and burn in the sun. "How can you people stand this heat?" he asked Sira. He already took of his toga and was debating weather or not he should also take of his tunic. He was starting to get a little red, which was saying a lot because he was so tan. "Do you think we could look around when it's sun-set or at night? It's really so hot here that I think I'm hallucinating, and I don't think that... whatever it is isn't faring much better," he said, indicating Haddix.

"Dobby never meant to kill, only to...maim. Or seriously injure."

Re: Saber Knight Saga
Don't worry, Tall Guy. My house isn't too far from here, and it'll be a lot cooler in there. Sira said reassuringly to Agnamatus. And Haddix, I've got food at home still. I don't think I've been gone long enough for any of it to spoil.
Come to think of it, how long had she been gone? Was time different on each world? She knew she had been in Marina's world for a little over a day, but was it the same for her world? She hoped so.
Luckily, her house was the same as she'd left it, so it couldn't have been too long. Her house provided shade from the scorching heat of the sun. Windows placed high on the walls allowed heat to escape, as well as let in the occasional breeze. There was a second story, accessible from a long ladder.
Once they had reached her house and had a chance to sit, Sira brought out a plate of bread with a bowl of honey. Here you go, Haddix. Hope you like this. She also placed a pitcher of water alongside it on the table. Oh, and if any of you are feeling overheated, there's a small pool in my backyard. I cover it with a cabana, so it shouldn't be too hot. As accustomed as she was to the climate, she too became overheated when the weather became ridiculous.

Re: Saber Knight Saga
"I've heard that you are short a member." Piercing green eyes met the red as he turned from exiting the council room.
"How did you get in here!"
"The front door," he replied, twirling a bent piece of metal, his homemade lockpick, "You really need to bring your traps to the 27th Eclasian century pal."
"You're starting to piss me off. Who are you, anyway?"
"Here's my calling card," he flipped a card into the air so the man could snatch it out of the air. With that he gave a two finger salute-wave, and slipped into the shadow.
"Wait..." But it was too late, he had already disappeared.
"Who are you talking to?"
Turning his eyes from where the rogue was standing before to the card, he spoke, "Nevermind, Haruki. I need you to find some information on a Mr. Bridganign."

Azriel looked around. "Nice place you've got," he told Sira approvingly. "My...residence back home could barely have been called such." Then he reached up with one hand and tugged at his collar. "Excuse me for a moment." He quickly exited the room, staying out of sight beyond the doorway. A few minutes later he was back. His cape and wings were missing. "Better." He seated himself between Eskay and Agnamatus, sweeping a hand through his hair and inadvertently making it stick up in odd places. "Marina made a good point. After we're all sufficiently rested, do you know if there's a marketplace nearby where we could buy supplies?" He paused for a moment. "Ah...what are we supposed to use for currency? Making you pay for everything seems very improper, but I very much doubt we all use the same unit in our home dimensions." After a brief silence, he added, "My dimension doesn't even have currency..."

Should I...oh whatever. /o/

Re: Saber Knight Saga
It's no problem. Sira smiled. You guys are my friends, after all. She turned and sat herself in a small chair facing the group. Thanks, Agnamatus. I really did put a lot of time into my house. Well, it was fine before, but I added that little garden area outside. Took me a while to gather the coin for it though.
Sira began to twirl a strand of hair around her finger absentmindedly. Hm...it's nice to be home. she thought. It was nice that she could come back, even for just a little while, before she took off for who knows how long with the Saber Knights. The idea that she was one herself was still sinking in. All her life they'd been the stuff of myths. She wondered how some of her acquaintences would react. They probably wouldn't take her seriously, wave it off as a joke.
Sira was abruptly brought back from her train of thought when she realized she'd left a question unanswered.Oh, um, yeah, I know where all the shops are. That square you may have noticed also serves as the marketplace. We can get what we need there.

Eskay shook her head vehemently. "Not going out there again unless I need to," she stated firmly. "You guys can go out and buy stuff. I'll just stay here, where it's slightly cooler."
After sitting around for a few moments, Eskay perked up. "Oh, hey, Tall Guy, didn't you say something about the Greek gods being here?"

Meanwhile...
Nyandimar strolled down the hot sand into the marketplace. Placing his hands behind his head, he stretched and yawned. He looked out of place in his red trimmed black knee long jacket. In fact, he kind of looked like he belonged in a evil scientist's lair. There isn't much here ever, why bother strolling through. Vendors everywhere shouting their mechandise: "Apples get your fresh-" "Bread, twenty-" "New shipment of-" Too much noise, hard to concentrate. Nyandimar was about to turn and head out and around when he got grabbed by the arm.
"Kid. You look like one who could appreciate some of the finer things in life." He flashed a knife from under his sleeve. "Step right into my tent and I'll show you some of my merchandise I couldn't sell to just any customer."
"Alright, old man. If you are trying to pull anything on me, it will be the last thing you do."
Edit: Ignore the edited notice, it was just a minor color change... again- Nothing important.
