I got my marching music for this year. It's going to be Carmina Burana. You might have heard one of the pieces, O Fortuna, before. Here's a link to a marching band playing it.

Awesome, epic, and win is all I have to say.

I'm going to be quitting my job too Kaida!

I'm just so over this whole "my work's making me miss out on the fun that my friends are having" thing.

My BF and a bunch of friends are going to be hanging out on a farm and having a good time this weekend but I'm stuck at home. Alone. Just cuz I have to work.

Also I need time to get my stuff together and get ready to move. I stress so easily >.<

This is a hard decision because I love my job and I guess I need the money but I have a backup plan for that. GAH! Why can't this job and this team I work with be like my old one? Then I could hate it and not feel so bad about quitting >.<

I know everything's going to work out though. Everything usually does with me.I jsut stress too much that it won't haha.

Konbanwa.
My feet are once more dead from wandering LA convention center. Oi...AX...I even had actual sneakers this time...
But I met Morikawa Toshiyuki! Seiyuu of Kurosaki Isshin, Tsubaki, and Tousen Kaname from Bleach, Sephiroth from...anything that has his voice, and Eneru and Hatchan from One Piece! :D
I don't know his other roles.
And I didn't really "meet" him, just...sat in a chair several rows in front of the panel table and listened. Some of the voice requests were funny. He admitted he was having fun.
The autograph line was too long, though, and he had to leave early. So my friend has my Bleach art book so she can try getting him to sign the page with Tousen on it.

Also saw lots of cosplayers. The only ones I thought were all that good were a Kakashi, a Trafalgar Law, a Mugen, an Undertaker from Kuroshi*tsuji, a Stein of Soul Eater, and a Cloud. I also bought posters from the artist's alley of Byakuya, Toushirou, and Kakashi, along with a group shot of the Straw Hat Crew up to Robin.
Happy day ~

A little late to the party, but... Here's my Summer so far:

1. Work
2. 6am-8 swimming
3. Dealing with laptop's coma
4. Reading Brisinger
5. Pre-season stuff

Y'know when a person is in a coma, all of their organs and body parts work fine, but their lights are out? Well, that's my laptop. All the programs and files and everything are there, I just can't get to them. After a year and a half of owning it, it up and decides I never installed the product key, and won't let me access anything until I enter it. Thing is, it won't accept it when I type it.
After several days of ignoring the laptop, much frustration, and two hours on the phone with Tech Support, I ended up sending it to a repair shop in town.

But the good news is I have off for Fourth of July :-D.

Also, Five Second Films are absolutely awesome.

Our town is being really weird this year. They were gonna go have them on the 3rd, but a few days ago they moved it to the 5th. '_-

Well, regardless I'm gonna go see them, 'cos they always do an awesome job, but ooookay....

Went fishing yesterday with my two sisters, my cousin, my uncle and my grandpa. I caught the most fish. I name-ed them: Peter, Benjamin, Percy, Eduardo, Franklin, Alex the Awesome, and Robert. I texted my friend Alex for the naming of the 6th one :P

Also, a while ago, Tango and I went through a large ordeal that I am too lazy to describe to get the Sims 2 Double Delux, but after everything we did it still wouldn't work on our computer. We tried it on my laptop yesterday. It worked! All I ever end up doing, though, is creating a Sim family and writing awesome bios for them all, then maybe making the house. Then, I never actually end up playing with them, 'cos it took way too long to make the family and the house. Bah.

And, congratulations to everyone who won a forum award!

Yeah. My town had their fireworks show last night. Oh well, at least I get to see my neighbors fire of some 'works.

That sounds awfully familiar to the situation my brother and I have to my copy of Sims 2:DD. It won't work on the PC, but it will on his laptop. Oh well, what're you gonna do.

Hi everyone!

The Calgary Stampede is here: wild west themed attractions at ridiculously high prices! I went and saw the opening parade yesterday which really wasn't that great. It was two hours long and the best marching band was at the beginning, playing Carry On Wayward Son. My sister is going with her friends today, and I'm going with my family on Monday.

My grandparents are here from Britain for Stampede week, so it's nice having them here. My grandpa hasn't been here since he lived here 49 years ago, so they're out sightseeing. Oh, and it's my birthday tommorow! Yaaaaaaay~ I can't wait to spend tthe day listening to The Beatles and playing TF2!

One Friday in March several years back (my sophomore year in high school, so that'd be...2006), I decided to go to my school's talent show. By the time I got home around midnight, I had a 104 degree Fahrenheit fever, which stuck around the entire weekend and forced me to miss two days of school. So I know just how nasty that feels. Hope you get better soon. :<

Konnichiwa. I'll probably be spending most of today working on chores or physics homework. At night, we're driving to a close family friends' house for dinner. They recently bought a new house, so today's their "open house" event kind of thing. Since visiting close family friends will probably extend to, if not midnight, then extremely late, I'll probably miss the fireworks this year. :/

Speaking of fireworks, Mabinogi has an event running where you can buy fireworks kits from the general stores and fire them, once a minute, at night (in-game nights, of course). If your firework flies past a certain height, you get a prize box. We're all having the time of our lives shooting those fireworks, trying to get rare items. XD

Hi! Speaking of online games, today is Canthan New Years in Guild Wars. Complete with games, fireworks, etc. I'd be on now, but it's Saturday and I generally don't play games before sunset on Saturday due to religious reasons. But I should get back from the real fireworks show tonight just in time to hop on, get some victory tokens, catch the last event, and get the new festival hat. Then, tomorrow, I'm off to check out the new water park. I invited some friends but I'm not sure yet if anyone is coming. Either way, it'll be fun. After that it's back to school, and I'll need to get pretty serious about finishing my LittleBigPlanet level over the next two or three weeks. Plus I'll probably have to draft the fourth chapter of my thesis soon, which will be easy but pretty boring (it's essentially a raw list of numbers and survey responses).

In other news, I made croissants. Actually, I started making them yesterday but they ended up taking a lot longer than I thought so I had to refridgerate my dough and do the shaping, rising, and baking today. This is my second attempt (first attempt was quite a while ago; they tasted good but weren't very croissant like) and the taste and texture are pretty close to what they should be. Shaping them properly is pretty difficult though..

Heso!

A similar thing happened to me when I got Sim 2; DD. The problem for my computer though was that the DVD drive was broken, once I got it fixed it worked fine though.

And Congrats to the winners of the Forum Awards. ^_^

Then, after that will be my first (should be my fifth) summer leauge softball game. Fun stuff.
