Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Kaida]

That restaurant looks dark and spooky, but I like dark and spooky. Kaida thought to herself. "The food smells good, but that doesn't stop it from looking dark and spooky, Deke, it's safe isn't it?" She asked pretending to be slightly scared and clutching onto Deke's arm.

[Josiah]

KAIDA & CASSI

((Gonna speed through this to try and get things moving more.))

"Of course. Everything in this park is safe." Deke smiled and led the girls inside.

It was nightime inside, and a very dark night at that. A waiter with pointy teeth and shimmering red eyes showed them to a table, which was high up in a stone tower overlooking a creepy forest of tangled wood and vines. Occasionally, strange lights and sounds came from the trees, but the three couldn't see what was making them. Deke ordered for everyone. The food consisted of heavily spiced meat, a very crusty type of bread, some rather tangy cooked vegatables of some sort, and a thick drink which tasted something like a milkshake. Dessert was a strangely shaped blood red melon. It was all very good.

After the meal, but before leaving the restaurant, Deke took them on a special ride on which they learned more about the planet the restaurant was based on. ((You both learn a bit about Chuthluria. It'll help if you ever go there or encounter anyone from there but I'm not going to type it all out until needed.)) When the ride was finished, they left the restaurant and returned to the first floor of the sphere. Deke wanted to know where they would like to go next. To help out, he says that there's some nice planet themed shops in the rest of the universal showcase. The giant Super Happy Fun Fun Land gift shop above that is nice if they want suvineers of the park. There's no real reason to go to the floor with the resort since they aren't staying there. Finally, he suggests that, when they're ready to leave the sphere, they go to the top floor where the park's most popular ride is.

((woot! and that dinner sounded fantastic... I want it now ))

"The top floor sounds like where we're supposed to go since it's the most 'up' place there is." Cassi prodded at the last of the milkshake-like thing with her straw-like thing. "And if it's the park's most popular ride then it's worth checking out... but I really want to see the shops too." She stared at the creepy centerpiece on the table absent-mindedly. "Do you think we'll ever get to come back here one day?" She looked up at Deke. "Because I'm really liking it here," she smiled faintly, "It's almost like I don't want to leave. I've always dreamed of seeing other worlds..."

((She wants to go to the ride, but at the same time she just wants to sit and talk to Deke for a while I think ))

[Josiah]

KAIDA & CASSI

"There's no reason why you can't come back after you're done on Portal Panic." Deke replied. "Supper Happy Fun Fun Land is open every day. Though, if you like traveling, I suppose you could just go to the different planets themselves..."

[Astral Omega]

"But first I'd need to find some way to travel from earth," Cassi said sadly. "On earth a lot of the people don't even believe there is life on other planets let alone go to other planets and meet them."

[Josiah]

KAIDA & CASSI

"Oh yeah, you're from an undeveloped planet." he frowned. "It's hard to imagine a place like that..."

[Astral Omega]

Cassi sighed heavily. "Well are we going to the ride?" She brightened. "That sounds like fun^^"

((Moving things along a little...))

Deke led Kaida and Cassi to the top floor. Passing through a sign labled Galactic Transfer Hub, they found themselves standing on the surface what appeared to be a small planetoid floating in the midst of space. The view of the stars and distant planets was breathtaking, though the large number of people moving back and forth through the area made it a little difficult to just appreciate the view. There were signs pointing in different directions, labled for the six different areas of the park ((the Giant Cool Looking Black Sphere isn't listed, since you're already there)). Each route was also numbered, from 1 - 6.

"Welcome to the greatest view this side of the known universe." Deke grinned. "So, which part of the park do you want to visit next? Just take your pick and follow that route."

[Astral Omega]

"Well this is about as 'up' as we can get," Cassi looked around at the veiw. "So where do you think the portal could be?" she looked around for some clues.

[Josiah]

KAIDA & CASSI

"They can be anywhere..." Deke looked around. "Do you have any other clues?"

[Kaida]

"No, we don't." Kaida said, one again looking at her clue. "So we might as well check out all the areas. Best way would probably to start with one and workout way around..." Kaida said looking around at the view. It would be nice if it was just her, Deke and Cassie. At least they could enjoy the view properly.

[Giga-Gar]

Gary was trying to strike up a conversation with Mickey when he noticed Kaida and Cassi run by. Thinking that they had some more clues, Gary tried to get the attention of Mickey and Silver.
"Hey, I think I saw some of our teammates nearby! Come on, they might have some more clues!"

[/poorly written attempt to get out of Laser Land]

"Well, guess we'll just have to keep looking then." Deke replied. "Go ahead and pick and a route and we'll be off."



GARY, MICKEY, & SILVER

(Technically, considering you're in a building, you shouldn't haven't been able to see Kaida and Cassi, even when they were still in Laser Land...but I'll play along a bit just to help get things moving.)

Gary dragged Mickey and Silver out of the Laser Land equipment building and after the girls, who seemed to be hanging out with a guy walking around in his underwear. The three left Laser Land with Gary following slowly after them (due to having to drag Mickey and Silver). Gary and crew did arrive in the plaza in team to see the girls and mostly naked guy get beamed up into the Giant Cool Looking Black Sphere. With considerable effort, Gary managed to drag the others to the sphere as well and beam inside. Unfortunately, the first floor ((see previous descriptions, also Mickey has been here before so she knows her way around)) was very crowded and the girls were nowhere in sight.

((That's as close as I'm bringing you. You're now caught up (time wise) to Cassi and Kaida's group (since you must have seen them quite a long time ago back in Laser Land).))

[Kaida]

"I say route number 1." Kaida said pointing towards route 1. "What do you think Cassi?"

[Saber Knight]

"So, as I was sayi--WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Mickey exclaimed as she was dragged off. The young girl proceeded to scream the entire time despite the questioning glances she recieved from passerbys. No one motioned to help her out, regardless.

When she finally stopped being dragged, Mickey ceased her scream. She turned to Gary. "Heeey, that wasn't ni--ooh, I've been here before! This place is nifty," she said with a nod. "But don't think the coolness of this place has saved you from a sound thwacking for dragging me though the park." As she said so, Mickey slapped Gary upside the head. "So there! ...kay, now wut?"
