Hi! My school web site isn't working at the moment, which means I can't check my school e-mail or do anything in my course shells (sites where they keep all your assignment info, tests, discussions and the like). It's been happening a lot lately. Seriously, for a tech school our IT department has always been rather lacking...

But the Lost season finale was interesting. And, like I predicted, it ended in a really bad spot. Sigh... Another year till I get to find out what happens...

Hey.

Just finished the 2nd Ranger's Apprentice book...darn cliffhanger. Good thing I have the next book handy! Yay.

Softball practice got canceled. Normally, I wouldn't be so excited, but I have a band concert tonight, so now I actually have time to complete my homework!

And..there's a Mario anime. Wow.

There's a version with english subs, but the subs are just so out of snyc I'd rather watch just the Japanese where I don't understand anything anyways. :P

But, wow. Weird. Mario anime. I had no idea.

Ugh that reminds me of Stephen King's Dark Tower series, one of the books stops right when the climax starts. Fun times. He actually mentioned in some thing I read that he got more angry letters about that than pretty much anything, and his book Rage caused some serious problems (they think one of the school shooters got the idea from Rage).
Man, this is strange. I have my computer back, but I'm still playing the ps3 more. I never realized Civ: Rev was so addicting!

Hey.

Just got back from school band concert. We played 1812 Overture. It's...12 minutes, ish? Something like that.

WE FRIKKIN' ROCKED!

Heck yes! Before us went the school orchestra, chorus, jazz band A, jazz choir and we closed the concert. After two piecies, we closed the entire concert with 18(friggin')12 Overture.

STANDING OVATION! HECK YES!

That was awesome, but I'm always sooo tired by the end. If you play trumpet (or any brass instrument for that matter) for a while, you won't be able to hit high notes. Ugh. Does that happen with other instruments? I don't think it does, it's really just brass. Sooo glad this wasn't a jazz song, which ususally end on something obnoxious like an A above the staff. I usually have to rest the last couple measures before that note to compose myself to hit that note ('cos I'm the only 1st trumpet in jazz band that actually hits that so that it can be heard). Lucky for me, 1812 ends on a niiice F, which is near the bottom of the staff. Yayz.

So, yeah. Awesomeness.

Bruins are in overtime. LET'S GOOOOOO BRUINS!

Hi! The Japanese in that Mario anime clip is fairly simple, I was able to understand the vast majority of it. Though most is fairly obvious by context as well. I think I remember hearing about it once before too...

Well, as usual, I've got a lot of school work to do (seems to happen most Fridays). I'll get back on, make some RP posts, and stuff sometime tonight.

Konbanwa.

Whoo...we have a massive multi-band concert on campus tonight. Security's going nuts, to make sure we all don't get drunk. They've even got officers working out of uniform. The guys on the floor below mine is taking advantage of the mostly vacant building to blast their music so loudly my floor and chair are vibrating from the noise. And our "quiet hours" were extended from 11 PM to 1 AM.
...And I'm still stuck with working on a paper. D<

Oi. AP Latin was a killer. Seriously. The V4 essay shot me, dropped me off a cliff and used my falling body for target practice.

*ahem*
*points to book on colonial America*
Then again, our whole revolution was to get away from the British, so I guess the point's moot, whatever the point was.

Ahh Victoria day. You know you're a pretty awesome leader of a country when you get your own holiday! ;-D I'm so excited for June, the patch that brings my main character's class up to par (they got nerfed really hard in the last few patches from global changes)! Finally, equal fights again!
