A book I'm writing....

It started with a gunshot. As I ran, a cold sweat broke out on my forehead. Another one was dead. This dark, dank world. It could be anywhere, and I was running out of time.Then, a crack came in the crust. The light it shed showed a glint of green. As I leaped forward, a piece flew out, hitting my legs and flipping me. I crawled forward, hurrying to reach it. As I grabbed it, a crack opened below me. The fall was swift.

When I woke up, the planet's crust was almost gone.
