Hi! Currently working on the code Twilight Sprites for Legode. She ended up getting two sheets. so It's taking a long time to finish. And I have yet to work on her parents, Gnollene, Deslaya, Lelouch, Braixlord, and The Necromancer!
Getting the Sprites how you want them is the most time consuming part of Starting a sprite comic.

Anyway, I pulled up my old copy of Sonic 3 and Knuckles from the Sega PC Collection and tried to play. You know how the levels are 10 minutes until you die. Hold on a sec, lemme time this... Alright, it runs out of time in 35 seconds. And it's not miscounting, the frame rate is just that high. Other than installing spyware, does anyone know a cure for this.

Anyway, tomorrow we crate up the robot and send it off to some military bunker. It works like a charm that's been put through the garburator.

Hi! My goal for this week has been to get all my work done no later than today so that I can spend all of Thursday and Friday working on the lit review for my thesis. So far, so good. I just need to write one more paper and I'll be ready to get started on the thesis...until next week when I'll have a bunch of new assignments that I'll need to rush through so I can spend more time on the thesis. President's Day was a fun break (particularily since I had less homework because of it), but my weekdays (and possibly some of my weekends) are gonna be pretty full from now until at least spring break (when the lit review is due). That said, since *all* I have to do today is take a big Japanese test (done) and write that one paper (not yet started), I think I'm gonna sneak out for a couple hours to see Coraline since, if I don't see it now, it'll probably be out of theaters before I get another chance.

Now, to help Poik... Some PC games have an option that lets you forcably slow down the game's speed (check the manual or help files). If that fails, you could run it in a virtual machine that's emulating old style hardware, but that's kinda complicated. Since you legally own the game and all, the simplest way may just be to download and emulator like WGens (the Genesis emulator I use) and the ROM. That way the game will run perfectly and you get all the nifty emulator features, like quick save.

Hi all, I love reading break! Shame it's the only break I get until Easter, I think. I've been catching up with my PS3 during the day and hanging out with family in the afternoon, so I've been keeping pretty busy. Dawn of War 2 comes out tomorrow, I'm very excited!

What is lit anyways?

Hi! It's short for literature, Cheez. In a thesis, a literature review is a really long chapter where you attempt to summarize everything everyone else of not has ever said about your subject, along with how you're interpreting their ideas and how they contrast with your own. For a thesis that doesn't involve a significant amount of original research studies, it's the longest and most involved part since you need to track down and read an enormous amount of material and then write a good 40 - 70 pages about it.

Speaking of the lit review, that's what I'm working on today. Or, more accurately, what I'm going to be working on the rest of today since the morning kinda got taken up with a bunch of random other things that I suddenly had to do. I've got some RP posts planned but they'll probably have to wait until Friday night or Saturday.

I did manage to see Coraline yesterday (though I might not be quite so swamped today if I'd spent the time doing extra work on stuff). It's a bit creepy for "kids" movie but very good none-the-less. And, in other random current news, I'm totally out of spending money and have no idea when I'll get more. Which really sucks since I just found a site selling some Square-Enix game soundtracks I want for a very good price.

Hey.

It rained, so instead of snow tubing, we went on a church trip to Laser Tag. We went to this new version of laser tag closer than Laser Quest. The place is called Laser Craze.

We played two full sets. Each full set is divided into 4 mini 5 minute games. The first 4 games, I did okay. The second set....well, I scanned my scorecard. I only put up one of the 4 games, 'cos I'm too lazy. The first game was my lowest at 67000. The rest were close to the one I scanned (though not quite as high). I got first place on my team all four games, and first place of everyone there three out of four times. You see, in Laser Craze you can tag their base for a buncha points. I found a good location to tag it from where no one would see me. It was great. I just totally owned.

So, yeah, I rock at Laser Craze. A lot.
