Cha!

I just got a new laptop with my Christmas bonus, so ROM comics may be a little delayed as I set it up and get used to it. They should resume next week at the very latest, but you should see an improvement in quality. I’m buying a tablet!

Hi! I did use Pokémon Trainer in one match. I played Kirby (my best character) for the first couple then started switching around to give everyone else a bit of a chance (didn't want to win too easily).

Silver, you really need to watch the following anime: Slayers (Funimation has a cheap box set out), Akazukin Chacha (only available as a fansub, you'll probably have to torrent it), and School Rumble (another Funimation release). I think I can safely say that they're all shows you'd really like.

Hey.

Link's my best character in Brawl (or any Super Smash Bros. for that matter), if anyone cares.

Well....the first day of school wasn't too too bad...I learne other kids were having just as much issues with the calendar project as I was. It sounds mean, I know, but it made me feel better. Then there's also some kids (well, one that I know of) who are already over halfway through. There are still a few that make absolutely no sense, though. >.<

We've got a hockey tournament coming up MLK weekend. Yaaaay...

Actually, because my family hates how well I played Captain Falcon, I only play as Random, or characters I am bad at. Well, I usually beat them anyway.

I know some geometry. Well actually I tested out of geometry so that I wouldn't ever have to go back, so I forgot pretty much all of it, but I may be able to help... To a point.

Oh, and I'm not terrible confident in getting into MIT, but it would be awesome. Not counting it out so down say "Oh you probably did well." But I'm not counting out VT either.

So if I told my parents I was drunk (on non-alcoholic apple cider) I could have gotten away with being stuck there and playing Bananagrams. 'Tis a pity I don't lie too often, and no one spiked the drinks this year. Don't know how Stevenson's folks would react.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

sheik's my best character in Brawl, though it was originally Samus. However, Me and my brothers all hate game and watch. Especially with his final smash.

Anyway, tomorrow we might vote on the Prom shirt Design. I hope my design wins...

Hey.

Been using Pandora to listen to music lately. What you do is enter an artist, album or song you like and it plays songs by that artist/from that album and similar songs. I like it, since it gives me a variety of music. Listening to musicals (I entered Les Miserables) right now. Man, I luv Les Miserables. It's still my favorite musical. Great music, though sad. I was listening to it and reading Tale of Two Cities. Coincidence?

If you like slayers, give Gokudo a look as well. I'm a big fan of Gokudo and a few people I know told me i'd like slayers as well because it's as fast paced and looney as Gokudo. I'd overview the plot, but even I can't keep up with it.

Also, I know how access to a Wii (it is my mums). I may buy Brawl at some point. I also got a tablet for my laptop, going to take some getting used to but should be good for my art.

Hey.

Y'know, I preferred Young Link to his more toon-y version. I used to play Link about half the time, Young Link the other half. I rarely play Toon Link. It's usually just Link, Zelda/Sheik (but mostly Zelda cuz Din's Fire is my friend), Ike, Marth and random (I've been playing random more and more often now...).

Geh. Been listening to Les Mis. Music is fantastic and all, but it makes me really wanna go play the piano music for a while, but I just don't have the time! Calendar project consumes any free time I have. >.<

Hi! I've seen Gokudo. I wouldn't say it has that much in common with Slayers, other than that they're both fantasy action/comedy series, but it was funny. Not a series many people have heard of though.

Heso! I know the "Plan to Watch" section of My Anime List doesn't really say much, but they're all on there... I want to Finish Mushishi and Moon Phase before getting started on those guys, but Slayers and School Rumble are both up on Hulu.com. I am, eventually, going to watch every single anime FUNi put up there.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hey.

Got to go outside for enviornmental science today. That's always fun.

Oh, and there's a high probability of a snow day tomorrow. :D

Calendar project = pain....

The triangle inequality guarantees that the sum of the lengths of two sides of a triangle is greater than the
length of the third. As a consequence, if x and y are the legs of a right triangle, with x £ y , and z is the hypotenuse, then x + y > z, so x > z-y. Under what circumstances will x > 2(z - y) be true?

Two trees of heights 20m and 30m have ropes running from the top of one to the bottom of the other. How high above the ground do the ropes intersect?

A ladder leans against a house with its base 15 feet from the house. When the ladder is pulled 9 feet farther away from the house, the upper end slides down 13 feet. How long is the ladder?

A rectangular container with base 9 cm by 11 cm has a height of 38.5 cm. Assuming that water expands 10 percent when it freezes, determine the depth to which the container can be filled so that the ice does not rise above the top of the container when the contents freeze.

A dodecahedron has twelve faces, all of which are regular pentagons. Three edges meet at
each vertex of the dodecahedron. An interior diagonal is a segment connecting two vertices such that the segment is not an edge or along a face of the dodecahedron. How many interior diagonals does a regular dodecahedron have?

Aug....anyone have any ideas? I need help, and we're allowed to use outside sources.....

I'm sorry to be a bother with this, but this project has me MAJORLY worried. It's due the 20th, and we hae to do huge write ups on each problem.

Oh, I remember doing those kinds of problems (and hating them so much). I'll look into it and see if I can get you some answers. Problems similar to the ladder one I remember doing a lot.

Guess what? I'm typing this from my laptop. It came back from the repair shop!
I still can't seem to find a large number of files. However, I did manage to find my pictures and photoshop documents hidden in the Dell "Saved Games" folder. Go figure.

Minus swimming, it looks like I'll be spending the remainder of this day excavating the deepest depths of the hard-drive to find the rest. Wish me luck! *Dons fedora hat and exits*

Hi! After today I should have more time to spend on forum stuff. And, as I mentioned in my latest news post, my school start date got pushed back till Thursday (plus, since all my classes are Mon, Tue, Wed, I don't even have to go to class at all next week, just do some online stuff) so that means even more free time.

A little help for Saber...
Two trees of heights 20m and 30m have ropes running from the top of one to the bottom of the other. How high above the ground do the ropes intersect?
Seems like you'd need to know how far apart the trees are...
A ladder leans against a house with its base 15 feet from the house. When the ladder is pulled 9 feet farther away from the house, the upper end slides down 13 feet. How long is the ladder?
You need to use the formulas for finding the length of the sides of a triangle in order to solve this. Keep in mind, the ladder, ground, and wall form a triangle.
A rectangular container with base 9 cm by 11 cm has a height of 38.5 cm. Assuming that water expands 10 percent when it freezes, determine the depth to which the container can be filled so that the ice does not rise above the top of the container when the contents freeze.
This is an easy one. Use the demensions in the first sentence to find the volume of the container. Then, determine what number 110% of would equal that volume (solve [1.1 x N = volume] for N). Finally, take N and determine how deep it would fill the container by itself.
