And I thought my TM list was long... Nice job with the sprites though. You did a good job working in Electribuzz's patterns.

I'll say it's gonna be close... I have no idea which one to pick...

Being the admin has nothing to do with it. Being busy might, though... I still need to go over the info and make sure everything checks out, but before that, I want you both to answer me honestly. If you win, would you step down anyway?
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Considering that my upcoming semester is looking to be even busier than this one... If I won, and Saber was willing to take over if I stepped down I probably would. However, if Saber doesn't want the apprenticeship, I'd keep it since I think it really should be one of the two of us (sorry Cheez). Though, if you asked me again in a few months, my answer might be very different since my schedule is bound to change considerably by then. See, if you just wanted the apprentice to help mod fights, I think I'd have time for that now. But revamping the IPAdex? That'd be very slow going with my current schedule.

That said, I'd still like to win the contest regardless since I'm rather competitive and it'd be awesome to have a Drastly in my party.

No, I wouldn't step down. My schedule has actually freed up considerably lately with the end of marching band (though once March hits and I start up softball (assuming I make the team...), meh schedule may get a bit crazy. Nothing I can't handle, though).
So, yeah, I wouldn't step down.

Same here. I'm pretty competitive (one time, there was this log holding contest at church (though Jewish (or any religon, for that matter) kids are allowed to this particular group if they really want to go) youth group (really awesome youth group, but only for middle schoolers. *sigh*). It came down to me vs. one of my closest friends. I am EXTREMLY competitive with him. I eventually won, but both of our arms felt like jelly afterwards. The only reason I was able to hold out was because I wanted to beat him (wow that was a long parentheses..)).
And, I'd also love to have a Drastly, but I'd love to have a Larvikid even more. :P

Thankoo, Cheeze. :D

Geh...wonder who it will be, hm?

Hate to be annoying (or do I?), but....are you gonna have the results anytime soon?

Due to mysterious circumstances, I can't make any promises about judging this competition.

That, and how I'm going to pick a winner is still a mystery to me...

I will tell you this, though: I will have an apprentice for Christmas. How, why, and who are still unclear...

Post by Silver »

G'day, mates. Since I 'ad a bit of spare time today, I decided I'd get on with the judgin'! Crikey, it's been a while since these two gorgeous IPA were created; it's about time, right? But I've been avoidin' declarin' the results of this competition like a kangaroo avoids... toe... fungus (I needed an Ausie similie, ok?) because it's just that close! They really are both fantastic IPA. The sprite work on both is beautiful, though I'll have to fix 'em up justa bit before I release any of 'em. Just a bit, though. Outside of that, there's hardly a thing wrong with them!

Only thing is, the breeding groups. Both of 'em, see? I know it's awl my fault; I 'aven't exactly explained 'ow it works. First thing, breeding group's gotta be the same through the whole line. So that Larvikid, he'd hafta be "Humanshape" in the first stage too. Even though Elekid can't lay eggs, it can only come from the Humanshape line; it can't lay eggs 'cause it's just a little tyke, but since Larvitar's big enough to be a daddy, Larvikid is too. Makes sense, right?

Also, if possible, IPA always gotta belong to two breeding groups. They get two abilities, one from each component Pokemon, so the same goes for abilities. Of course, this doesn't always work; if both Pokemon are in the same breeding group, it just can't have two! You mix a croc with a croc and you can't get a koala, right? But Drastly there, he really looks like he could be part of the Indeterminate group. See how he's got all that glowy purple fog about 'im? He'd fit right in with the other blokes there.

Hmm... the attacks they learn don't quite follow my pattern... I like to start 'em off with an attack from each, then gives the bloke on attack from the sub-breed Pokemon, then one from the main, and continue like that. These patterns get the job done, though; there are exceptions anyway, since some li'l tykes, like Caterpie, don't learn any attacks at all until they evolve anyway. That's why it's not really that important, right, mates?

...Anyway. I guess it's about time I announced the final results, eh? Crikey... I don't know what I'm going to do... This is a really tough choice, mates. And I want you to know, no matter who I choose in the end, I love ya both to death. I hope you'll always be as happy as a koala in a eucalyptus tree, and your participation in this 'ere game means the world ta me. I'm moved to tears - crocodile tears - that IPA has become something so great that we can 'ave a whole contest, spanning months and months, and with so many strong competitors, just to determine who's going to be my Mind Sla... Apprentice. Thank you all for trying your best, and participating in the Impossible Pokemon Advance Game!

So, to finally draw this tourny to a close...

Can I 'ave a lil' drum roll? For dramatic effect, mates.

I've decided...

That the winner is...

Can I just say that you're both absolutely beautiful people?

No, really.

My best mates.

In the world.

But I've decided...

That my apprentice...

Is going to be...

The one who's IPA is better...

Just by a hare...

Or uh, Hair...

Or Something...

I've never quite understood that expression, y'know.

Why a hair?

There are plenty of thinsg smaller than a hair.

A molecule...

An atom...

Saber wins...

An Electron...

You know, all those components of matter.

Why can't Saber's lil' bloke be better by an atom?

More like a pixel, anyway.

Crikey! Ah won!

Oh, after all this time, the contest 'as finally drawn to a conclusion. Ah must say, goin' into this ah just thought it'd be a random, fun little thing for some time, but look what became of it! Ah...*sniff*....ah can't believe it. All of mah time and hard work has payed off! Ah'm gettin' emotional.

But, crikey, Josiah, you were a fierce opponent. Ah had no idea who would win in that final round. Both IPA were more beautiful than a croc. In all 'onesty, Josiah, ah can't help feel bad winnin a teeny bit just cuz I feel like you deserve somethin' nice fer coming all this way, and being a fierce competator.

So, does that mean we'll be seein' the little Larvikid bugger out in the cold, harsh IPA world? Ah, don't worry lil' Larvikid. Ah'm sure you'll be fine....IT SEEMED LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY HE WAS JUST A LITTLE BLOKE! Waaah....*is all emotional*

An' Silver, thank yeh sooo much! The competition was great fun, and ah think it'll be even more fun to continue on as the IPA apprentice. Yaaaay (erm, I mean Crikey!)! *hugs Silver*
May the Triforce be with you.
