No snow day here. That's right, I don't get to enjoy a lack of school. Worse off, drama. My friend's friend has been physically abused by her parents, and my other friend's father is out of a job and almost out of money, and he is being blamed by his parents and grandparents for lying about something. I would know but one of my other friends cut in and said "life isn't fair get over it." I swear he has no ability to process emotions.
But at least we don't have to make up the day later.

Can't wait for the week of randomness.

I work in a place that has restaurant functions (as in restaurant type food), but it's not just a restaurant. And It doesn't really concentrate on advertising the food.

Same here! But for different reasons. Mine is a Motel^^

And we've had so many functions lately. I've had to work so much! and now that I have my RSA Certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) I can run the bar unsupervised... joy. I mean it's not that I don't like tending the bar, it's jsut that when there's a bit of a rush, it's better to have other people there too. AND It's better to work on the inside bar because the cash register is there and it does the adding up for me. Good thing is the outside bar that occasionally gets set up (and I've been working at a bit for the past 2 nights unsupervised) only has basic stuff. Cans of softdrink, basic beer.. easy stuff to add up quickly. Thank goodness there's none of the wines.. then I'd have to look up the prices and try to add up more difficult numbers...

Well that was a random babble wasn't it? I don't think anybody even cares about it^^ I'm not offended if you don't. Really. I'm not sure I even care.. my fingers are jsut detatched from my brain. they are just typing. Please tell them to stop...

I finished my last big project! Still got a little writing and two tests left to go but I'm done with all my big projects for this semester! And I should be done with everything by Tuesday afternoon! And my game project is going well!

Woh! I just got back from my All-West auditions! Well, acctually, it was at 9:05, but I was playing The Sims 2 since I got back. Anyway, I think I did pretty well! I messed up a bit on the first part, but I just kept on playing. The scales were pretty good as well, except for my chromatic scale. I couldn't get the nose-bleed high F and F#, and I flubbed up a bit on the Db/C#, but otherwise, the scales were pretty good. But the sight-reading. Oh, the sight-reading. I crashed and burned. I still can't wait to see how we did, though.

Hey! I'm back from helping the homeless!

So, yesterday we served dinner at a soup kitchen, but it was a weird soup kitchen. It was "resturant style". The people came and sat down at tables, and we served them drinks and chowder and fishsticks. I was a waitress (Tango was a busboy (well, girl rather) cuz she was too young). It was hard at first, because there were like 10 people at my table (2 waiters to a table) and they really didn't tell us what to do. So, I just brought a jug of orange juice to the bale and began filling their glasses (and I spilled the first time). There was this one woman who knew I was knew at this and was telling me what to do (and adding stuff like "don't worry, we don't bite"). It was pretty fun, after I got used to it.

This morning we went to Boston to serve breakfast to ze homeless. Outside. WE WERE FREEZING! It was kinda awful. Couldn't feel my fingers after a while. After that we helped out this place that gives free clothing to homeless people who need it. The place had just gotten flooded, so we helped sanitize it and such. After that we went to a church to help sort out donations so they'd be sent to families. Then, we FINALLY got to go home (well, after having a mini sermon outside in the FREEZING weather).

Overall, it was an interesting experience. But now I just want to relax....

Also, it's Sunday here.. but looking at the time I can see it's only Saturday there... SO I STILL HAVE TO WAIT TO START THE GAME! OH THE TORTURE!
