Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

MICKEY

Mickey caught one of the silvery objects. I was a tiny statue of Willy Wombat, dressed up in his spooky outfit. The words, "Start from the center." were engraved on the bottom.



GARY

KAIDA

"Clues? Clues for what?" Deke looked confused. "Is there a special event going on today that I didn't hear about?"



CASSI

Cassi and the others returned fire. A couple of the red players were hit and ran off. The others ducked behind a lemonaid stand and continued to fire.

"Quick! To the coaster!" Llazon charged towards the the entrance to the laser coaster.

[Saber Knight]

Hm....this is interesting... Mickey said as she backed away from the crowed to examine the sivery obejct more. What could that mean.....wait! Oh, ye gods, I think it's a clue! Barely able to contain herself from screaming with joy, Mickey sufficed with a small jump. The thought that it may not be a clue still plauged her at the back of her mind, but she ignored it.
The center....the center of the park! Mickey remembered from her breif glance at the map a while back that the center was the Giant Cool Looking Sphere Plaza. Filled with new vigor, Mickey dashed in the direcion of the Giant Cool Looking Sphere Plaza.

[Giga-Gar]

Start from the center? What does that... realization dawned on him The center of the park! If I can find some more clues and the rest of the team and see if they have any clues, then maybe we'll find the portal! But where can I find them? he thought. He wasn't even paying attention to the parade. He started wondering in a random direction while he was thinking. Now where can I find them? Where can I find some more clues? Hmm.... Well, my team mates are probably riding some ride, but this is a big park, and it could be any ride. Some of them might just be shopping. And the clues. I got one clue from a carnival game, and this one from a parade, so they must be some common give-away items. But they must be giving away so many items, I don't know where to start! He finaly stopped his train of thought when he bummped into something. "Oof!" He looked around, and saw that he wondered off somewhere. "Hey, where am I?"

MICKEY

While Mickey's dash was more of a trudge do to the slime, she managed to make it back to the entrance of The Wonderful World of Slime without incident. Stepping through the shimmering curtain of light filling the gate she suddenly found herself back on solid ground in The Giant Cool Looking Sphere Plaza. Surprisingly, the slime that had been covering her had vanished as well. The Giant Cool Looking Black Sphere was still floating there in the center lots of people were walking underneath and being beamed into it.



GARY

Gary quickly realized that what he'd bumped into was an alien who liked something like a five foot long centipede standing on its back legs so that it could walk upright. It was waiting in line for a snack stand. Nearby was: another game booth (Squiggly's Square Toss), the snack stand (Carnival Quick Eats), a couple rides (Ricochet Riot and The Corkscrewer), and a small black building that might house a ride, though it was kinda hard to tell (Cosmic Transfer Station).

[Giga-Gar]

"Oh, sorry," Gary said to the alien. "Hmm, the game booth might be good place to start," he muttered, and walked over to the booth.

[Kaida]

Well I suppose you could say it's a special event of some sort." Kaida started, "Well, remember how I asked about Portal Panic earlier. Kaida said hoping he would understand without her saying it.

[Saber Knight]

"Up I go!" Mickey said to herself as she ran over to get beamed up.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi followed closely behind Llazon, running as fast as her legs would carry her. "Will we be safe there!?" she managed to call out.

GARY

The alien gave Gary a long look but didn't say anything. Squiggly's Sqaure Toss was a game were players were given a bucket of square shaped plastic rings (which, of course, doesn't entirely make sense, but you get the idea) and had to throw them in an attempt to get one to land and stay on one of a collection of oddly shapped tubes. The prize was a giant stuffed Willie Wombat. The game looked fairly popular.



KAIDA

"They're doing a cross promotion with Portal Panic?" Deke asked. "I didn't hear anything about that. Is it a seceret event or did I just miss the ad..."



MICKEY

As Mickey neared the center of the plaza, and the beaming up area. She spotted what looked like the team she'd encountered earlier heading on the far end of the plaza, heading towards the entrance to Laser Land.



CASSI

"Probably not." Llazon replied as they ran. "But at least we can lose them for a while."

Fortunately, the other players were rather poor shots and the entire group managed to make it inside the building without being hit. Llazon didn't slow and led them through a dark twisting hall, dodging around a collection of aliens in the process. Reaching the front of the line, he jumped a large cart of some sort. It had three rows with two seats each and the others hurried to join him.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi giggled as she climbed into the coaster next to Llazon. "I've never been on a ride like this before," she tried to explain her strange giggle as she saw the others look strangely at her.

[Kaida]

"Well I supposed It might be secret, otherwise you would have all sorts of Portal Panic fans flocking here." Kaida said thoughtfully. "After all I didn't even know that this round would be here, then again I don't really know where here is." She continued.
"How about we start heading for that Laser Coaster? We can keep talking on the way." She suggested.

[Josiah]

CASSI

"Keep you gun ready." Llazon replied as Cassi felt an invisbile restraint of some sort fasten over her. "We're safe for the moment but this isn't an ordinary ride. We could be fighting the entire way." The others had their weapons drawn and were looking excited.

In front of them, a monitor was counting down. "One minute to launch."

Zinia, the cute girl, leaned forward to whisper in Cassi's ear. "Don't bother. I've been flirting with him for the last two hours without any luck, and if this dress can't get his mind off the game, I don't think anything can."


KAIDA

"Wait? Round?!? There's a Portal Panic roung going on here right now?" Deke was clearly excited. "That's awesome! Who are teams? Which one are you rooting for?" He began to walk in the direction of the Laser Coaster as they talked.



SILVER

Silver found himself just where Saku had been, a side street of The Galatic Promenade. There was a beam sword in his hand and, if Hostly was to be believed, he should have the power of Loud Annoying Screeching as well. There were some stores and restaurants lining the streets and a whole lot of aliens milling about, but nothing that really stuck out. From what he'd seen on the TV, he had a pretty good idea of the layout of The Galactic Promenade and where he himself was.

[Saber Knight]

Upon seeing the other team, Mickey hesitated. Maybe they know what they're doing more than I do... She thought to herself. Maybe I should go talk to them...but then if they ask me if I have any clues I'd have to tell them of that maybe clue...and I'm a suckish liar....oh whaddo I do...
After some intense pondering, Mickey decided to get beamed up. An encounter with the other team could end poorly, while she really saw no downside to being beamed up. Pleased with her reasoning, Mickey headed over to get beamed up.

[Kaida]

"We'll I haven't ran into anyone from the other team's yet, so I'm not sure who they are." Kaida said as they walked towards the Laser Coaster. "Theirs my team though, but we split up, Cassi's around here somewhere, knowing her I have a feeling she's ended up at he Laser Coaster or will go there." Kaida continued.
"The only clues I've found so far is this one saying "Remember to Look Up", But apart from the roofs of shops and tall rides what is up that we can get to easily." Kaida looked at the card in her hand as she thought aloud.

[Astral Omega]

"Huh?" Cassi looked back at the girl. "Who's distracted?" She whispered back. "Uh.. I mean I was just saying that it's exciting I've never been on a ride like this before. I didn't even think that he would take his mind off the game and I'm not trying to get his attention or anything I mean what are you talking about? He's an alien for goodness' sake. I mean, sure he's a cute alien even by human standards he'a attractive but he's probably more interested in you because you're an alien too but then again you're probably from different planets or something so I guess he's an alien to you too and I've probably just offended you so much and I'm sorry but I mean I'm not flirting with him if that's what youre thinking I'm just excited about the game..." her speed speech activated unintentionally as she blushed.
