CASSI
In an extreme burst of luck, Cassi found herself facing an opposing player, one who she had just shot in the chest. He groaned as his aura faded then sprinted out of the store.
KAIDA
"Portal Panic, do a round here?" Deke grinned as he led Kaida out of the theater. "Now that would be something to see. There'd be millions of possible hiding places. It'd probably be at least a difficulty rank 8." He noticed her aura, which had returned now that they were back outside. "So, you're in the laser tag game, huh? Want to stick around Laser Land and play a bit? I can show you the ropes. It'd only take me a few minutes to join in and meet back up with you."
MICKEY
The ghosts seemed to be ignoring Mickey for the time being. And, since nothing was happening, she figured that it might be time to get up and look around a bit. Outside of the circle of dancing ghosts was a large gnarled tree, a mound of very pointy looking rocks, and a spooky looking dark lake. Everything past those three landmarks was covered in a thick haze and impossible to make out.

Cassi gasped and looked around her. She had to get out without getting shot. She scanned the store, seeing the hiding place of her previous rival and plotted a course that was sheilded from them.

After Mickey’s previous waterfall experience, she decided to rule out the lake. After a quick game of eenie meenie minie moe, Mickey headed for the tree.

Cassi made it out of the store without incident. Once outside, she spotted several plays from both teams taking potshots at each other off to her left.
MICKEY
The tree was very tall but extremely twisted. It looked rather rotten and had moss and mushrooms growing all over it. There was a dark hole in the trunk big enough for Mickey to squeeze through.

Well he'll find out soon enough, Kaida thought. "Sure, I'd like to explore all of Laser Land if possible, and I think you'll find I have great aim." She smiled again at Deke. "Um which way is it to sign up for Laser Tag from here?" She continued looking around.

After looking around, Mickey decided in the tree was the best way to go. She took a breath to steady herself, then climbed in.

Cassi used the building as a sheild and shot at the players of the opposite team before running in the opposite direction.

Cassi took off running before she could tell if her shots had connected or not. The path she was following ended up going through something like a canyon. A few yards in, she ran into a group of green players going the same direction.

Mickey crawled into the hole. It seemed to go a lot further than it looked like from the outside. She kept going for about two minutes before hitting her head on a rock. Reaching up, she pushed it out of the way and emerged in what looked like the ruins of a city.
"Oh, don't worry about that. Just wait here, I'll be back in no time." Deke ran off to the right.

"Okay I'll just wait here then." Kaida said looking after Deke as he ran off. She looked around her a bit before looking up . Great now I'm paranoid about missing something if i don't look up, she thought.

"You new to this?" one of the players asked. "This is the path to the Laser Coaster area. Wanna come with? We could use another guard."

As Mickey began to walk through the ruined city, she heard an odd sound in the distance, an odd sound that seemed to be steadily moving closer...

"Ohcrudohcrudohcrud..." Mickey was muttering out loud, frantically looking around for the source of the noise. "Hope whateveritis, it isn't hostile...." But, just in case, Mickey readied her hoceky stick and dove behind a ruined wall, using it as cover.
