Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Saber Knight]

Mickey was struggling to remain calm...ish. Her eyes flicked around nervously, and the entire time she was thinking, ohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrap, but she otherwise was okay.
Trying not to be scared, she bowed back toward the pumpkin-headed creature in an attempt to make herself laugh, but it didn't work too well.

[Josiah]

CASSI

There were glowing versions of nearly everything Cassi could think of that was small enough to fit on a shelf. There were also some nice glowing laser blasts, which shot past her, just missing.


MICKEY

"Welcome." the pumpkin said. "We've prepared a place just for you..." it took Mickey's hand in a chilling grasp and pulled her a short distance through the graveyard. "Ah, here we are." It let go and have her a hard push. Mickey stumbled back and fell into an empty coffin, which promptly closed, trapping her inside.

[Kaida]

At first Kaida was going to talk to the giant cockroach, then she had a large flashback to the Men In Black movie and the amount of cockroaches she had squished in her life and decided against it.
Instead she asked the young man next to her "Have you ever seen this before?"

[Josiah]

KAIDA

"Of course." the guy turned to her. "I know this entire park inside and out. Say..." he smiled. "You seem a little lost. Looking for a handsome hunk to spend the day with, perhaps?"

[Giga-Gar]

Gary headed to the parade

[Astral Omega]

(I'm changine my colour to #8080FF it's the third purple down in the hird cluster of colours on the very right. mostly becasue I'm too lazy and can't remeber the code for Heliotrope.)

"D'arvit!" Cassi ducked behind a pile of merchandise, her gun at the ready. She peered from behind it, looking for the person who had shot at her and thinking to herself that she probably watches too much TV.

[Kaida]

"Really, You'd do that for me?!" Kaida said looking at the guy with big puppy-dog eye's. "This is my first time here and I've had trouble finding a map." She continued.

[Josiah]

((Quick recap for Gar: You've been standing around trying to decide between the tower and the parade. Kaida and Cassi are in Laser Land and on seperate teams in a giant game of laser tag. Mickey is in The Wonderful World of Slime. She competed against a member of another Portal Panic team in a race and lost, so she agreed to share any clues she finds with him. She's now on a haunted house type ride.))

GARY

Gary somehow manages to get to a half decent viewing spot for the parade and watches as a long line of fancy floats (some of which actually float) and dancers pass by while a cheerful song plays in the background. It's far more extravagant than any play he's seen before. There's lots of strange looking aliens and/or people in costume (it was kinda hard for Gary to tell the difference at times). Willie Wombat was riding in a float somewhere around the middle of the parade, tossing sparkly objects of some kind to the crowd.



CASSI

Cassi spotted a flash of red near the far wall as her assailant ducked behind a big tub of glowing noodles.



KAIDA

"Map? You won't need a map when you're with me." the guy grinned winningly. "It'd be my pleasure to show a cute girl like you around." Turning back to the stage, he muttered so low that Kaida could barely hear, "Wow, that was easy. Those guys were right, no girl can resist a guy in Zippo underwear."

[Saber Knight]

After her heart had gotten down to a reasonable rate, Mickey said angrily, "Well that wasn't very nice of you at all! That's the last time I trust someone with a vegetable head." Mickey continued to pout, trying to ignore that the situation she was in really was freaking her out.

[Kaida]

This is great my own slave for a day Kaida thought as she laughed evily in her mind. "Well my names Kaida, whats your's?" She asked as she looked at the stage.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi stalked a little to the left, watching the glowing noodles and waiting for the red glow to come into her sights again.

She aimed silently and kept herself hidden behind the merchandise in front of her.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Without warning, the bottom of the coffin dropped open and Mickey found herself falling. She landed with a thump on a soft object, which turned out to be a giant mushroom. A circle of ghosts were dancing around it.



KAIDA

"I'm Deke." the guy replied. "Watch closely, the show's about to start."

The show lasted for about fifteen minutes and involved lots of lasers, magic, and neat flashing lights. It could no doubt be described much better than that, but it won't be. ((Got a lot that I need to do today.)) At the end, a dazzling array of lasers fired over the audience, making it a bit hard to see. As the lasers passed over her, Kaida felt a small card fall onto her lap. As the lasers faded away and the regular lights came on, she could see that the card was empty save for one sentence, "Remember to look up."

"And that's the show." Deke rose and offered Kaida his hand. "Where would you like to go next?"



CASSI

Cassi's oponent seemed to be playing fairly carefully as well. The amount of normal shoppers in the store wasn't helping her spot her target either. After about a minute, she still hadn't seen anyone with a red glow. Suddenly, she heard a loud crack behind her...

[Astral Omega]

Cassi turned suddenly, the sound scaring her out of her wits. Her trigger finger tightened breifly in fear and she accidentally shot at whatever was there.

[Kaida]

After looking up at the roof to try and find where the card fell from, she smiled at Deke and took his hand as she stood up. "Well how much do you know about Portal Panic?" She began. "Do you know where they could hide a portal here, or where the clues would be hidden?" She finished still smiling at him.

[Saber Knight]

As she began her descent, Mickey reacted naturally.
“WAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!” was the first word that came to her lips. Whether it’s an actual word or not is debatable, but nonetheless it was what she shouted as she fell.
Her “WAAA”-ing was cut short as she hit the soft object. It wasn’t long before she noticed it was a giant mushroom. Mickey sat up to see the ghosts dancing around. Instead of being scared, she just laughed. Ghosts were the one thing that had never scared her as a child.
This might not be quite as scary as I thought. Mickey silently told herself. Hrm. I wonder if there are any clues here. Where’s Scooby Doo when you need him?
