Round 3: Super Happy Fun Fun Land

[Saber Knight]

Mickey moved quickly with the intent of climbing down the tree, but, unfortuneatly for her, the klutzy Mickey slipped. Next thing she knew, she was falling. And screaming. That too.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

It was a long distance to the base of the tree. Fortunately, Mickey avoiding crashing into the hard ground...unfortunately that was because she instead went plummeting over the edge of the cliff. The next few seconds past in a blue before she hit the water. It hurt, a lot, dazzing her a bit, but she soon bobbed to the surface further down the river and regained her senses. She was sore all over but nothing felt broken. Still in shock, she managed to grab onto a nearby rock while she caught her breath. She could see what looked like a trail following the west bank of the river. It probably wouldn't be too hard to swim over to it and climb out. Though, since the trail just followed the river as far as she could see, she could always keep swimming for a while.

Even though she was sore all over, Mickey still felt a strange exhiliration at the jump, and an odd urge to do it again. Deciding not to get out of the water, Mickey swam on, letting the current carry her for the most part.

[Astral Omega]

Cassi read the pamphlet, understanding the rules and waited in line, jittering with excitement.

[Kaida]

"Care to share your plan Cassi?" Kaida asked as she finished reading the pamphlet and waited in line.

[Josiah]

((Kaida, Astral, I'll move you guys to the front of the line as soon as you're finished talking to each other. Cause once you're through the line, you probably won't be seeing each other for a while.))


MICKEY

Mickey half swam, half floated down the river. The path continued to stay fairly close to the bank. It looked like staying in the water had allowed her to skip past a few minor obstacles. The current began to pick up slightly as she continued on, and the sound of the water got a bit louder. (Want to stay in the river a bit longer or head for the bank?)

[Saber Knight]

"That does not sound good." Mickey verball observed. If that was rapids, or even another waterfall, she wasn't ready to take another beating. By the same token, she had recovered pretty well, but best not to take any chances. With a grunt of effor, she heaved herself out of the water and continued down the path.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Continuing along the path, Mickey was soon glad she'd left the water as she found herself at the edge of another cliff with another waterfall. Although this one was cascading down into a cave. Aside from trying another death defying leap down a waterfall, she could try climbing down the cliff face or slidding down a conveniently angled vine (although it disapeared into the cave so she couldn't really see where it ended).

Panting, Mickey did a lightning fast game of eenie minee moe and decided to try her luck with sliding down the vine.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Sliding down the vine was actually quite a lot of fun. Mickey zipped down the cliff and into the cave with surprising ease. She hit the cave floor a little hard in the end, but managed to avoid doing a full face plant. The only way to go was straight off into the darkness so she headed forward. However, about a minute later it had become so dark that she couldn't really see where she was going. (How are you going to deal with the darkness?)

"Um....ah...." Mickey mumbled trying to figure out what to do. "Aha!" She said, rasing her hockey stick ((Which she's totally had the entire time, what are you talking about?)) She continued to walk forward (or at least she hoped it was forward), probing around with her hockey stick so as to not fall or run into a wall.

[Josiah]

MICKEY

Mickey continued on slowly but safely. Rounding a sudden bend, she quite literally saw a light at the end of the tunnel. She soon emerged from the cave to find herself behind a large waterfall. Said waterfall was so large that she couldn't really see what was past all the falling water. Without warning, she heard the announcement that she had finished the course. It told her to pass through the waterfall to exit.

Without pausing for a moment, Mickey bolted forward with all of the energy she had. Which was surprising a lot, considering all that she'd been through. She planned to leap through dramatically, striking a pose probably, but she suddenly thought that she should probably take it safe, and stopped mid run. By now, though, she had much too much momentum, and couldn't stop completly. Now off balance completly, Mickey they stumbled over a conviently placed rock. With a yelp, and a shout of "Waaah!", she burst throught the waterfall, landing in a tumbled heap. Moments later, she burst into laugher at her amazing gracefulness.

MICKEY

After falling through the waterfall, Mickey found herself lying on the floor outside the suvineer shop, around the same place as where the slide had taken her after her previous race. Oddly enough, there was no sign of the waterfall.

[Saber Knight]

Scrambling to her feet, Mickey glanced around, trying to find the waterfall. "I'll never get used to this." she said with a sigh. "Hm. Did I win?"
