Hey.
Got back from a band show. We only got 3 stars. Stupid percussion, they only got 2 stars. Had they gotten three, we probably would have gotten the 4 stars.
Well...can't really blame the percussion, since I have no idewa what they did wrong. Seeme normal to me.
Bleh. We still beat a couple of other bands. Oh, there was this one band there that was even smaller than us! There was 10 people marching, 4 or so in pit, and 4 or so color guard.

OMG I was at work tonight and I kind of stood there and thought to myself "okay, how are we looking?" sort of taking in everything I had to do. Everything was good, I had everything done and I just had to go to the Tables and see if anyone wanted anything.

The first Think I thought when I thought "How are we doing?" was "soooo goood!" Like TGS.. Gah! it got into my miiiind!

Spent the better half of the weekend watching Death Note. It's the first time I liked the Antagonist more than the protagonist. Then again, it's the first anime I've ever watched the protagonist is a mass murderer

I know what you mean, Shauni. L = Kappei Yamaguchi = Usopp. So for that alone he's pretty much cooler than the rest of the Death Note cast that's not Rem. So when you consider the fact that Light's a complete jerk... I certainly hope we like the Antagonist better than the Protagonist.

And I can completely relate to the Homestar Runner brain infections, too. Go watch the sbemail 'dragon' and tell me you don't have Trogdor on you brain for weeks afterward.

Heso! Everyone else is changing their avatar to be all festive and Halloween fun times... I wonder if I should bring back the Brook? But Sogeking wears a mask, so it's appropriate... not to mention I'm using the Usopp cosplay for Halloween. And Melvin = Chopper. It's gonna be great. No one will recognize us. But it'll be great.

Oh god, Homestar Runner. Good stuff. I remember I first saw it when I was young enough to have a babysitter. He showed us it. That, plus how to crush a can with a stove and inflate a peep. Not the best things to teach a seven-year-old. At least I think I was seven...how old was I?

I was rather surprised when I found out Usopp and L had the same seiyuu, since they act so differently. oo
Ohayou. I was toying with the idea of cosplaying Byakuya again, but decided against it. Just one day at AX with those hemp sandals killed my feet, and I wasn't even doing that much walking then. Here at college, where I have to walk practically halfway across campus every day...yeah, that doesn't strike me as a good idea.
The there's the fact that I walk pretty fast when getting to classes, so trying to move at that speed when wearing two kimono, a hakama, and a scarf is likely to give me heat stroke or something. @.@
Maybe I'll just dress up after all my classes are over, if my suitemates are interested enough in seeing me in a costume, but otherwise, nope. :/
As for my avatar, I'll think up something new. Later. When I'm not frantically catching up on reading assignments. 'Cause it's been a really long time since the last time I had a new avatar. That was a lot of sentence fragments. >>'

Working on a health project. Fun stuff *cough* notreally *cough*.
We have to write a 3 page long essay about stuff that's going on in our lives right now. Like who we're interested in stuff, which for me is a big no one. I also have to write stuff like "one good deed you did that not many people know about". We get this paper back in senior year.
Bleh. I hate health.

Hi! I think I mentioned this before, but I prefer the Death Note manga over the anime. The anime is really good, but it cuts a decent amount out of the second half and I like the manga's version of the ending better (even though the same stuff essentially happens in both). As for Light...he's fairly likable...for like, the first couple chapters... He starts out ok but descends into madness really quickly. If you still like him (as a person) by the end of the second book or so you've got a problem.

Sukkot begins tomorrow (another Jewish holiday, this is a kinda busy time of year in that regards). But since I can't build a sukkah here or anything, it's probably not going to change much for me. I'll go to a service or two and skip school a couple of days, but that's about it. Apartments kinda limit Sukkot observance.
