Aside from my little math quiz *points to rant thread*, school was okay today. We got to go outside for Envoirnmental science (we're starting some sort of project...too lazy to explain). And, about 1 min before the bell rang to end the day an announcement came on, saying "teachers, please keep your students here after the bell." So, the teacher kept us in our class, and everyone was thinking, "what the heck?"
About 40 seconds later, an anouncment came on saying, "teachers, you may release your students" (exact wording, no joke). I still don't know what that was about, but my friend says he saw some paramedics with a streacher. Either that or he heard someone saying they saw paramedics. *shrug* Hopefully, I'll learn Friday (since we have tomorrow off).

Is that the stuff? The supermarket I used to work at sold this in the Deli and it's yummy. It apparently also comes in a rolled form... so it may look slightly different.

Unfortunately, my mom deemed it too unhealthy, so I've only ever had it once in my life.
But it is so good.
Konbanwa. Speaking of baklava, I once offered a piece to one of my friends (this was when we still had some, meaning several years ago). The instant that thing went in her mouth, she giggled pretty much non-stop 'til her mom came to pick her up a little over an hour later, and I'm not sure how long she continued giggling at home. I thought that was interesting.
I'm currently working on one of the largest things I've ever drawn (four sheets of computer paper taped together 'cause I couldn't be bothered to buy a large single sheet of paper from the university bookstore), and I'm almost finished. When I find the time, I'll try to put it up here. It's for my art class, which I'm waitlisted in but attending anyway. How long it takes for me to stick it in my art thread depends entirely on how cooperative my Internet is being. It's got a decent signal right now, but it can plummet to absolutely nothing at a moment's notice sometimes. Which would also explain my not being here as often anymore.

Haven't had some of that in forever. I think the last time was for or so years ago.
I haven't had it too much, but it's good stuff. I'm pretty sure it's Greek, actually I'm almost entirely sure. Greek heritage 'n' all that (though I don't look Greek at all).

Happy Yom Kippor Josiah! You know, there's a Jewish kid in the band and he wasn't here today at school because of that holiday, but half-way threw marching practice, he came back! It wasn't even sunset yet. I don't really understand that.

Also, one of my former section leaders visited! But she left before 3:00, so she wasn't there very long. She goes to UT Knox, and seeing as it's on the other side of the state, she can't visit as often as the ones going to the University of Memphis. Oh well, at least I got to see her again.

Hi! Thanks Gar, although the majority of Jews would probably say you're not supposed to be all that happy on Yom Kippur. As for the kid returning early, if he's only nominally religious (for example, nominal Christians only go to church on Christmas and Easter, nominal Jews only go to synagogue on Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur) it's quite possible he dodged out early. It's not really a very enjoyable service...

Silver: Isn't the reason your so anti-romance because of your mother and your step-dad, specificly your dad leaving your mom and your mom marrying a deadbeat? Because if that's the main, underlying reason, then why be anti-romance? You a great guy.
