The world of pokemon...We all know how vast and beautiful it is. What we don't know is the greater mysteries that surround it. In the far away lands of Kanto and Hoenn, mysterious happenings have started to occur. Pokemon disappearing, Cinnibar volcano's eruption, and meteors falling from space. Rather than sit idly by. The Pokemon league entrusts a handfull of their Gym leaders to investigate these incidents. As junior trainers, it is your job to represent the gym you train under and put an end to these disturbances before humans and pokemon alike are plunged into chaos.

Right. The rules of this little RP are simple. As stated, each player character must hail from a different gym of Kanto or Hoenn origin. Characters from both regions will be unable to interact with eachother until a specified time. Until then, you may only interact with others from your region. Also as junior trainers, you must have at least one pokemon to represent the type your gym prefers.(Except for Legendaries) (IE:Poison type for Fuschia , Flying type for Fortree, etc) You are welcome to capture pokemon of other types, but you must always have a pokemon of your gym at your side. Now then. Before we get started, I'd like to state one final requirement...

If you feel like quitting while in the middle of something important, DON'T! You are welcome to quit when nothing considered "MAJOR" is happening. If you are confused on when is a good time to quit, PM me, and I'll tell you if it's okay or not.

Personality: A bit sarcastic, but well meaning and not too over the top.
Hometown: Fallarbor Town

Likes: Humor, video games, Pokemon, gum
Dislikes: Virtuology (if there's a real word for it, I'd like to know) or the belief that the whole world is some sort of video game and the urban legend "Missingno", but only when taken seroiusly. Heck, anything taken too seriously.
Backstory: Early in his life he wandered into the cave behind the Fossil Maniac's house ( I haven't play the game, but I found this through Google...) against better wishes of his parents. After being confronted by a wild pokemon, he is randomly saved by a stray Ditto. Ever since, the Ditto has followed him around. Later he moves to study under a gym leader, Norman, to become a Pokemon Master. (A little Cliche, but whatever.)

Personality: Scientific and analytical, often finding others around her dull-witted and can sometimes be harsh. She does, however like to joke around when the mood strikes her and if she meets anyone who doesn't annoy her she can be very good friends with that person.

Starting pokemon: Hariama

Likes: Adventuring, learning new things, science... lots of things!

Dislikes: Annoying people (which is pretty much anyone), being wrong etc.

Backstory: grew up in Slateport City, Lazing by the beach and browsing the markets. She learned all she could from the Oceanic Museum and dreamed of entering the Pokemon Contests.
One day she was invited by her Aunt to spend a week in Dewford for her birthday and she was given her Hariama, Angus, as a gift. After the week she trained back at home until she was ready to go back to Dewford and challenge Brawly.
She almost beat him, and probably would have if she ahd a couple more potions and Brawly was so impressed that he decided to give her a job at the gym.

Personality: Loud, lazy, cynical, and prone to freaking out and/or randomly speaking in l33t, inner-city slang, or Canadian non sequiturs, eh?

Starting Pokemon: Weepinbell, Ghastly
Likes: Music, Poison types, barbecue pork buns, video games, l33t.
Dislikes: Work, hosers, posers, kiddie pop and hacks.
Backstory: Kevin comes from a rich family, which has given him an ego and lazy attitude. (Although he prefers to catch his own Pokemon, mysteriously.) Recently, Kevin had some sort of revelation that I can't be bothered to describe, and joined the Fuchsia City Gym so the he may learn l33t h4xx0r skillz IRL from Koga/Janine. However, Keith then decided that the ways of the ninja were to demanding and gave up his dreams of grandeur in favour of lounging around the Gym, eating BBQ pork buns, playing video games on his DS, catching Pokemon at the nearby Safari Zone, and occasionally doing something that might remotely resemble actual work. Yet he hasn't been fired because he has not lost an official trainer match since he joined the Gym (although this honestly may be just because he has hardly ever gotten off his ass to actually battle a challenger).

Personality: A lone Wolf, doesn't like to talk much, but loves to battle.

Starting pokemon: Altaria (shiny)

Backstory: As a kid, Crotank didn't get along with anybody else, or with pokemon. In fact, she hated all pokemon. Then one day while her parents were vacationing at Fallarbor city when Crotank wondered off. She ended up at route 114 where she got lost, but found something amazing. A golden Swablu. From there she threw her only pokeball and captured the bird that came her only partner. As a bonus of it being part flying, she was able to train under Winona for years.

Trainer name: Jing
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Personality: Jing can be shy at first and he's very smart and although most people don't realize it. Jing observes allot more then people think he does and he gets rather annoyed by this fact. He enjoys having a laugh and shopping.
Hometown: Cerulean City
Gym: Cinnabar Gym
Starting pokemon: Vulpix
Likes: Fire Types
Dislikes: n00bs
Backstory: Although Jing grew up in Cerulean City he was never really interested in water pokemon in particular. It was when he went on a holiday with his family to Cinnabar Island when he was 13, he thought it would be a smart idea to go into the Pokemon mansion. Hear he met Vulpix, who was injured from a previous unseen battle. He patched her up and they quickly became friend and while trying to find his way out of the mansion he ran into some wild pokemon.
With the help of Vulpix they managed to make it out Alive, with a few scratches and bruises. Unknown to him Blain was watching his progress and later came to see him and asked him if he wanted to join his gym.
Jing accepted and Blain later found out that Jing was good with computers. You know those annoying machines that ask you a question and if you get it wrong you have to face the wrath of a trainer, well Jing programmed them. The questions were harder but there were complaints about them being too hard. So Jing had to come up with some easier ones.
He also once rigged them so that you had to face a trainer weather you got the question right or wrong, but he had to fix that too.
Jing was on a break visiting his parents in Cerulean city when the volcano blew. Although as soon as he heard about the incident he went back to help Blain build his temporary Gym on Seafoam Islands.

Marcille was sitting in her favourite spot, the water lapping at her feet. Makuhita was sitting on her lap munching on a berry block. Life on Dewford Island was slow, but she kind of liked it that way.

The only downside was the lack of markets… She like markets. Pokedolls, Seaweed… all sorts of fun stuff. She sighed. She really needed some more excitement…

Personality: Happy-go-lucky, has a short attention span, laid back, and never serious. Although anyone who knew him would disagree strongly,probably because he never takes anything seriously, he is also very smart and notices small things others wouldn't have. His mind tends to wander durring conversations, and has been known to walk away in mid sentence. The rare times he takes things seriously, he takes it seriously.

Starting pokemon: Feebas, Munchlax, Geodude(Was gonna get one in the story, but FINE!, Skip that.)
Likes: The Sky, Books, Animals, people in general, etc.
Dislikes: Birds, tightwound people
Backstory: Seth's father was an old trainer, and he wanted his son to follow in his footsteps. So, at an early age, he enrolled his son into Trainer School. Although he was not at the top of his class, he had a lot of potential. Roxanne took intrest in him and let him join the Gym. She planned to leave her Gym to him someday so she could explore the world. That dream died quickly. Although he was obviously skilled, he never took his battles seriously, and even fell asleep in the middle of a battle(In his defense, it was nightime). He lost most of his official matchs, but the truth was, if he tried, he could probably beat Roxanne.

Kevin whistled as he approached the Fuchsia City Gym, his Gastly floating beside him. As he entered the door, he felt a quick whack to the back of his head with, followed by a loud "OI!!!"

"WHAT?!?!?" Kevin yelled as he spun around to come face-to-face with Janine. "Oh, um... hi, boss-"

"I don't want to hear it, Kevin." Janine said sharply. "Do you know what time it is?"

Keith nervously brushed his long, black bangs away from his from his eyes. "Erm... about eleven-thirty."

"And at what time were you supposed to be here this morning?"

"Exactly eleven-thirty." Kevin said firmly, which earned him another whack to the head. "OW!!! Jeez, don't harsh out, bra!"

"You were supposed to be here an hour and a half ago." Janine snapped. "You're never going to be a decent trainer if you're always late!"

"I DON'T WANT TO BE A DECENT TRAINER!!! GAWD!!!!!" Kevin shouted. "What the hell! Jeez, I wanted to be a freaking ninja, but noooooo, 'being a ninja requires years of dedication', 'you must undergo rigorous training of the body and mind', 'you need to stop playing video games and focus on your studies', 'you must- OW!!! Dammit!" Kevin fell to the ground clutching his forehead, while his Gastly struggled to keep from laughing. After a few minutes, Kevin recovered and stood to face Janine once again.

Janine simply looked at him. "Are you finished?"

"Yes ma'am."

Janine nodded. "Good. Now you're going to fight every trainer who walks into this Gym. And if you are ever late again, I'm putting you on cleaning for the rest of the week. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Super." Janine then vanished in a puff of smoke, leaving Kevin and his Pokemon alone in the lobby. Finally, Gastly couldn't take it anymore and burst out laughing.

"Oh, shut up... hoser..." Kevin mumbled something about maple syrup before sitting down to play his DS.

Crotank was on her day off from being a competitor at the Fortree gym. She liked to spend her days off in a tree-fort she built years ago as a place to be alone at. The only other thing that was allowed there was her Altaria.
"Long, boring day." She mumbled aloud to herself as Altaria cooed back.
Crotank also could watch the wold pokemon jump back and forth from the lake to the grass, making sure none of them could invade her fortress of independence. Couple months ago a pack of Surskits infested her treefort and she was not too happy. Luckily, her Altaria - a Swablu back then, defeated them all with a mighty peck and fury attack, evolving into the Altaria it is today.
But today was different....there seemed to be less pokemon around in the water and grass. Not that Crotank mind, she just got an odd feeling from it.
