Marina just stared and went into her griffin form, she then flew upward til she was higher than Azriel, she pointed her sword in front of her till it was pointed at the monster, and then Dive-Bombed it with flames surrounding her,sword and body as she cut its back. while she was doing this, she screamed:
PHOENIX DIVE! When she landed, she formed a small craternear the Dragon. and then said: Well, I was wondering about the Burnt Fish smell.

[Saber Knight]

The dragon roared as it was struck, but didn't seem to really take too much damage ((fire is doubly not very effective :P)). "Er..." Eskay said, trying to remember what Kutolh had told her. "Um...Totodile, use what was that he said again... Ice Fang!" Immediatly, Totodile lept into the air, his mouth glowing an icy blue and he snapped his jaws on the arm of the dragon.
The dragon gave a small roar of pain, and began waving its arm around, trying to shake Totodile loose. Eventually, it succeded and Totodile was sent flying. Before she could even think about it, Eskay dashed toward the falling Totodile and caught him out of the air.
"Hey," She said, turning to Marley, "Is this some sorf of pokemon? If so, can you tell us some more about what we're fighting?"

[Giga-Gar]

Agnamatus ran up to the dragon and slashed it with his Lightning Blade, but it didn't seem to do much damage. How in Zues' name am I going to defeat this monster?
At that moment, a glow appeared infront of him. "Oh, hey kid, I've got something I forgot to tell you. That Luxray over there knows Iron Tail, Charge Beam, Cruch, and Lightning* Fang. Cruch is probably your best bet against this monster, but Charge Beam increases every time you use it. Now I've got to run. The souls don't ferry themsleves to the underworld!" and he dissapeared before Agnamatus could even ask him what he was talking about.
"Ok then...Luxray, uh, use Charge Beam as many times as you can!"
Agnamatus was astounded when Luxray let loose a yellow bream of crackling electricity from it's mouth. He was amazed when the second beam was larger than the first. But Agnamatus knew the dragon wouldn't notice this and dashed towared the conveniantly distracted dragon, who was trying to shake off the mini-crock biting it's arm. When it shook it off,Agnamatus was climbing the dragon's back, but it's attention was focused toward the electric lion, who was firing it's fourth beam, and it looked a little tired. The dragon's claws started to glow purple and slashed at the Luxray with tremendus force. It was a direct hit and the Luxray was sweeped aside with a whimper, crashing against one of the pillars. "LUXRAY! NO!" The dragon turned around, confidant that the threat was gon, but Agnamatus kept his eyes locked on Luxray. He knew that nothing could have survived a hit like that. To his amazement, the Luxray stood back up, though it was a little shaky. It was then that the dragon noticed the 6 foot tall olympian on its back and started thrashing wildly, trying to get him off. With his sword still in his hand, he wrapped his arms around the dragons neck, hanging on for dear life while trying to smack the dragon's face with the flat side of his sword.[/i]

((Faustgy here. Sorry, but I doubt I'm going to return to PVF since I have too much work that needs to be done. I'm going let Mandi to RP my character, since she can communicate with me easily outside of PVF. I'll check on this RP every now and then to know what's going on, since this RP is too interesting for me to forget. Well, here's my last post before I'm gone for good.))((My character is Vegier, a 17 year old Arc from Riviera. His weapon is a brandistock, and his patron goddess is Nótt, the goddess of night.))

Vegier hung back, a bit unsure about how to help. He had already pulled his brandistock out, but his posture suggested that he had no idea how he should use the weapon against the dragon. Beside him, the Sneasel waited for orders impatiently. When she finally decided that Vegier was taking too long for her liking, she took a swipe at his legs.
"Hey!" Vegier protested, leaping back a little. "No need for that!" The Sneasel hissed angrily at him and jerked her head in the direction of the dragon before swiping at the air. Vegier blinked uneasily.
"Do you honestly think that you can injure something that's four times taller than you are?" he asked incredulously. The Sneasel only gave him her best glare, which eventually forced Vegier to give up.
"Fine," he muttered, positioning his spear in a more comfortable position. "I'll go help, but you should probably stay back." With that, he rushed forward, failing to notice the look of annoyance scrawled over the Sneasel's face before the Poke'mon followed close behind, ignoring Vegier's order. Vegier wasn't accustomed to fighting without his wings, but he would have to improvise. As he neared the dragon, he raised his spear, preparing to strike, but lost his focus when something unexpectedly landed on his shoulder. The Sneasel then sprang up from the Arc's shoulder, pulling back one claw as she did so. While the dragon was distracted by the other Saber Knights and Poke'mon, she struck out with her claw*. Surprisingly enough, her attack was strong enough to attract the dragon's attention. As the Sneasel landed, the larger Poke'mon swung its tail at her, too sudden for her to dodge. Vegier himself barely reached the weasel-like creature and held up his spear, his hands on each end of the shaft, to block the oncoming attack. As the tail slammed into his spear, the Arc was knocked down from the impact. Groaning, he stood rather unsteadily, using his weapon to support himself.
"I thought I told you to stay behind," he grumbled, somewhat irritated. The Sneasel only glared defiantly at him in response.

((*This is supposed to be Faint Attack, but I couldn't think of a good way to describe this since the game's description of it says, "The user draws up to the foe disarmingly, then throws a sucker punch. It hits without fail." *Shrugs*))

Even in the midst of battle, Eskay couldn't help but smile. Things were going in their favor, for the time being at least. Unfortunatly, she still had no idea what this dragon was or why it was here. That would have to wait until later, though. The more pressing matter wast the battle at hand. They might be winning, but there was still a tough fight before them.
Eskay dashed in to help Agnamatus. As she aimed a strike at the dragon, Eskay found herself struck hard by an unseen force. "Agh!" She shouted in pain as she flew backwards and hit the ground with a grunt. Moaning, she got back to her feet. "What was that?" She asked to no one in particular. Without warning, she was struck again, but this time she though she saw something, but only for a moment. It could have just been becuase of the force of which she was struck.
Now seriously pissed, Eskay got back to her feet. Her every sence was on alert. A human-like figure suddenly appeared, and Eskay's reflexes were lightning fast. She slashed at the figure in less than a second's time. The figure vanished before her blade hit. She cursed, and then moaned as her effort of moving caused her bruses to hurt. Moments passed, and it seemed the threat of the unseen attacker had vanished for the time being.
Eskay looked back up to the dragon and gasped. There was a flicker of movement near Agnamatus, and she saw the figure strike a speedy blow at him. Eskay had no time to cry out to him, the shout would reach him too late.

Marina heard the screams of pain, and then she heard her heartbeat, getting faster and faster,she was starting to lose control, she felt a prick of pain in her arm, but she didn't care at the moment,things were about to get dangerous for everyone in a moment she was becoming the full beast of her were-curse, a very large griffin, she then heard something she hadn't before, a wimpering and the dragon's lament. She Quickly charged at the monster attacking her freinds and attacked it in her full fury.
SKROAR! was all she could say.

Agnamatus was still hanging on to dear life from the dragon's neck when he felt a sharp, stabbing pain on his side. It was so intense that he blacked out for a moment.

When he regained consciousness, he could still feel the pain at his side. He looked around and found himself lying on the ground, next to one of the pillars. The dragon was not right next to him, but it was still too close for his comfort. Agnamatus tried to crawl away, but it was too much for him and he cried out in pain, "Someone...help!" but it was drowned out by monstrous roar. The pain was becoming too much, and he soon fell unconscious again, but not before he could feel something dragging him(Luxray).

Eskay gasped as she saw Agnamatus plummet to the ground. She wanted to cry out, but could only moan in pain from her wounds. There was a flicker of movement at the edge of her vision, and Eskay saw that Marina had transformed into a powerful griffin. Eskay watched in awe as the mightly beast charged the dragon. They met head-on, but there was a sudden flicker of movement, and Eskay breifly saw the figure from earlier, and Marina vanished only to reappear not far from Eskay's side.
There was another glimmer, and the figure appeared. But, this time it did not vanish.
A woman who appeared to be in her late teens stood before them. She had extremly long raven colored hair with streaks of purple. A black cape was draped around her shoulders and she wore a purple tunic with red designs. In her left hand she held a dagger. Her right hand was covered in a fearsome gauntlet that was equipped with claws that glowed a faint purple and a razor- sharp blade on the back.
The girl looked at Eskay and she was startled to see that the girl had two different eye colors. One of them was purple while the other was a fierce red. Eskay found she was forced to look away from the woman's fearsome gaze.
Finally, the woman spoke.
"So, these are the Saber Knights." She said cooly. "These are the ones that were giving you so much trouble." To Eskay's surprise, it seemed as if she were addressing the dragon. "Your manifestation powers seem to have diminished. It wasn't long ago that you could easily stop such rabble."
"H-Hey!" Shouted Eskay at the woman. "We're not as pathetic as you make us sound!" The woman turned to face her.
"You really don't know who you're speaking with, do you?"
"Er...."
"I thought so. I've been given many titles over time, but all you need to know is that I am a Saber Knight as well. And, I am not just any Saber Knight. I am what you call a Corrupted One. A Saber Knight given in to the powers of darkness." Eskay was startled. A Corrupted One! Here?! This could not be good. "If you hadn't already guessed, my Saber would be the Rift Gauntlet." She said, raising her right hand. "And my patron god would be Palkia, the god of space. His manifestation is the dragon you see behind me." Eskay's face paled. Things had really gone from bad to worse very quickly.
"....What do you plan do to with us?" Eskay asked, as calmly as she could under the circumstances.
"I'm not going to kill you, if that's what you thought." Responded the Corrupted One. "I could have done that by now easily. No...I have something better in store for you goody Saber Knights."
"What would that be?" Inquired Eskay shakily. The girl seemed to ignore her.
"Well...I could always kill you. There really isn't much use for you weaklings. How about I make you a deal. You come with me and become Corrupted Ones, and I let you live."
Eskay's mouth dropped open. Become Corrupted Ones? She thought to herself. Never! But...then again...death doesn't sound too promising....but I can't become a Corrupted One! Eskay was strugging internally, wanting to do what was right but finding it was hard. What's going to happen now?

Marley popped up out of nowhere "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. My god PWNZORZ yours." He said to the Corrupted One. He got glares from most who weren't wounded too badly "What? You guys looked like you could handle it."

Marina was momentarily dazed by the mini warp, but as her beast-form took her surroundings, she saw Eskay in a dangerous situation from the caped human female, if she was human. Her instincts were her basic thoughts, Protect elf, beat up girl. and with her left talon, swiped at the caped female while her attention was on Eskay, resulting in the girl being flung into a wall, when she fell to the floor, Marina put her other talon on top pf the corrupted one, immobilizing her completly. then she let out a deafening skroar that would frighten even the darkest of warriors.

The woman's eyes flashed with annoyance at Marley's words, but then she seemed to recgonize who he was. "You're Arceus's servant, aren't you." Her tone of voice made it sound more like a statement than a question. "That's quite convient, I--Aagh!" Eskay watched as the shape of Marina slashed at the Corrupted One. Blood dripped from the Corrupted one as she flew and hita wall hard. Marina pinned the Corrupted One down and let out a screech that chilled Eskay to the bone. Even the Corrupted One seemed to cringe away. But that was only temporary.
There was a flicker of movement, and the Corrupted One vanished once again. She reappeared not too far away, but her confidence seemed slightly shaken. Then again, that might have just been Eskay's imagination because all traces of hesitation vanished in an instant. "Stupid fools." She said menacingly. "I gave you a chance. I really did." As she said this, there was a flicker of movement at the edge of Eskay's vision and she turned, expecting to see the Corrupted One but instead it was....
"Kutolh!" She exclaimed with delight.
"Sshhh!" Said Kutolh angrily.
"I'm so glad you're here!" She said in a lower voice, but still excited.
"I'd be glad I were here too. Now, look, I can't help you much, but what I can tell you is that you don't stand a chance against her." Eskay's face fell.
"W-What?" She stammered. "Can't...can't you stop her?"
"Just listen to me. The only way for you to win is if you defeat Palkia's manifestation. He will be forced to retreat from the battle, and he will need to keep all of his energy for himself for a bit."
"How does that help?"
"It means the Corrupted One won't be able to draw on his power!" Said Kutolh in exasperation.
"Oh! But...wait...what's stopping Palkia from coming back?"
"He won't be able to for some time, it's one of the risks of using a manifestation. He'll need to keep all of his power in the Sacred Realm." He explained. "Well....good luck is all I can say. I'm sure the other gods have explanied to the other Saber Knights what to do." With that, Kutolh vanished.

Rather annoyed by the recent turn of events, Azriel created a small spark at one end of his Saber and held the opposite tip between his fingers. Using the weapon as a lever, he threw the spark at Marley's head, which was the most convenient target. "Even if we looked like we could handle it, extra help is never a bad thing," he grumbled, catching Archophylax by the hilt before it could swing around and stab him.
"Treat your allies more nicely," cackled a familiar voice. Azriel sighed, resisting the urge to roll his eyes.
"NOW who is it I'm talking to?"
"It's me again, Huugin. Sheesh." The raven leaned over from where it was perched on the Grim Angel's head to look him in the eye. "Now listen. I don't need to tell you that if you guys try taking on that Corrupted One directly, you're all doomed."
"Well thanks for that. Mind keeping that beak a little farther away? I don't think going blind will help me much." The raven flexed one of its feet, prickling Azriel's scalp with its talons. "Ow."
"The key to beating her is to defeat that dragon there," the raven continued, ignoring him. "Since she draws power from the manifestation of her patron god, if he's gone, she's considerably weakened. That's your only shot."
"So why-Oh, forget it." Azriel could tell from the sudden lightness of his head that the raven was already gone. He checked on Scyther, who had momentarily retreated. Once he caught the mantis' attention, he waved him over. The Pokemon flew over as quickly as he could, keeping half his attention on the other occupants of the area. "Okay, we're gonna have to take down that dragon. I probably won't have enough time or focus to keep track of where you are, so take care of yourself and don't get killed or badly injured, okay? I won't know how to heal you." The mantis nodded and buzzed off again, circling Palkia warily. The Grim Angel himself spread his wings and flew swiftly to where Agnamatus and his Luxray were. "Hey, dragging isn't too effective without hands, you know?" Without further ado, he seized his fellow Saber Knight under the arms and started hauling him over to the nearest corner of the room sufficiently far enough from the dragon to be safe from its attacks. Letting the Luxray guard its partner, Azriel took to the air once again, spinning his Saber and looking for a chance to attack.

Marina was still enraged and charge at the dragon like everyone else, when she reached it she pounced on his back and used her beak to bite its shoulder. she succeeded and the dragon roared with pain she ignored it and continued biting the shoulder in an attempt to shatter it.As she was doing so she heard Epona's voice in her head:
"Hey Marina You need to--- oh nevermind, You figured it out and... you're not lisening right now. joy. Note to self, when I see Zues again, punch his face in for creating weres."

When Agnamatus opened his eyes, his vision was a little blury, but he could see a glowing figure infront of him. In seconds, the firgure resolved itself into a glowing goddess in armor with an owl on her shoulder. "Athena? Wha...What are you doing here?" he asked grogily.

"Hera saw that you and your team were in a bit of trouble, so she thought that it was logical to send the goddess of wisdom and strategy here to help you. She could do this herself, with all the talks with Odin and Ra. Now, I can't say much, but that dragon over there," she said, motioning to Palkia, "is the source of that girl's powers. If that dragon is taken out, the girl will be severely weakened." She paused, and layed a hand on Agnamatus' side where the girl stabbed her. When Athena took her hand off, most of the pain Agnamatus was feeling was relieved, but not all. "I've healed the wound as best I could, but you need to get that looked at soon. Best of luck, and if you're wondering, Daddy still hasn't fully recovered." With that, she vanished.

Agnamatus sat up, but soon felt something knock him on the head. "And here's that bow Daddy forgot to give you!" a voice said from above.

Agnamatus just stared at it and shook his head, What in the world have I gotten myself into? he thought. He got up and took a look at his surroundings. He saw a girl with some large glove on her hand yelling at the little elf, who was looking away from her and seemed to be talking to herself. He heard a loud battle cry and saw the griffin and the grim angle attacking the pink and white dragon. Thinking about what Athena said and what was going on, he tried to come up with a plan of attack that would finish off the beast once and for all. "Ok, Luxray, here's what we're going to do. In order to take this dragon down, I'll shoot an arrow in one of it's eyes. This seems like a perfect time to use it and it's sure to take out a big chunk of it's health. Once I give the signal, I want you and the 'Totodile' to bite it, preferably on the head or neck. Seeing as the Totodile's bites are super effective against it, it should take it out. Got it? Good. Now, go get Totodile and get into position to bite it." The Luxray nodded it's head and headed off to the Totodile, which, dispite everything that was happening, was dancing happily on one of the fallen pillars.

Agnamatus crouched low and, using the fallen pillars as cover, moved quickly and quietly towards the dragon. When he felt like he veiw at it, he readied his bow and aimed carefully at it's head, which as a bit of a challenge since the dragon was thrashing it's head everywhere. "It's a good thing I was top marksman in my class. Let's hope I still am," he said quietly. Taking a deep breath, he quickly let go of the arrow and, true to it's name, it was as fast as lightning and was lodged in it's eye. "NOW!"

((Boy that was long. Saber, I'm letting you discribe what heppens. Hpefully, this won't last much longer.))

The Corrupted One didn't react at first. Then, her eyes widened in realization as she guessed the Saber Knights' stragety. "No!" She shouted as Marina bit down on Palkia. "No! No! No! You won't win! I won't lose! I can't lose!" By now, three of the Pokemon were already attacking Palkia. Once again, she dissappeared from view and reappeared on top of Palkia. She clawed at Marina with her fearsome gauntlet, disappeared, and reappeared again, this time next to Totodile.
"No!" Eskay shouted, and she dashed forward as fast as she could. "Look out, Totodile!" Hearing her, the Totodile managed to avoid a direct attack from the Corrupted One, but was grazed on his tail. This didn't seem to phaze the Totodile one bit, though, and he then promplty shot a beam of ice at the Corrupted One, who rapidly vanished.
It was then the lightning struck the dragon in the eye.
It bellowed with rage and stumbled around. But, it still wasn't quite defeated yet. With rage-filled eyes, it turned toward Agnamatus.
"Oy! Over here!" Eskay called, without thinking. She then bit her lip just as the dragon turned to her. Not seeming to care she wasn't the one who had blasted him, the dragon shot a concentrated beam of water at her, which she hurridley jumped out of the way of.
Without hesitating a moment, Eskay dashed toward the dragon. Before she could get there, though, the Corrupted One appeared before her and clawed at her. Not having enough time to stop, Eskay ducked down and did a somersault, knocking the Corrupted One over. Eskay was on her feet before the girl could hit the ground, and continued running on. The dragon was weakened greatly, it wouldn't be much longer before it was defeated.
"Now would be a great time for those Saber powers to start working." She muttered to herself.

((Palkia is almost defeated....just want to drag it out slightly longer so I can work out all the kinks in what happens next. All I had was a pretty vauge idea of what was going to happen...soo...yeah...))
