That's all right; I have to keep myself from laughing at some of my friends' misfortunes too, sometimes.

Not having much luck recently. Woke up this morning and my filter on my fish tank must have stopped working last night cos the watet was all foggy, and one of my fish looked dead. I poked it and it moved a little, but I think it’s done for. Just what I need when I get home, my favourite fish dead. I hope she’s okay…. :bye:

That's alright Shauni. Atleast you know you actually took care of your fish. (Unlike everybody at my house who's too busy with their own stuff...Yes that includes me. Shut up!)

Warupala! Well looks like this week is spiraling into a real downer, because of the following reasons...

-My friend Azure got trolled on DA and now has an article about her on ED. (They also mentioned me. How touching)

-My cat Kira just got this ridiculously huge scab and won't stop picking at it. So now we're trying to go through great lengths to keep her from removing her bandages on a minimum budget that forbids us from buying a cone for her.

-I got an insane amount of writer's block for all of my current projects.

Thanks for that, that makes me feel a little less sucky O:-)
2/20/2008 White rabbit
In the games there really is a guy who sits around at the end of Cycling Road just to tell you how bad you are. Unfortunately, in the games you can't just ride past him.

Well, the King of the Forums Contest is running on the PV forums and, while things aren't as crazy as last year (yet), it's still a pretty big deal. Combine that with some totally unrelated stuff that has been keeping me busy, and I'm running late and behind on a couple of different things so I'm gonna cut this short. I'll try and make up for it with two RJCs on Friday (assuming nothing comes up).

Later everyone! Oh yeah, bonus points if you can figure out what the title has to do with today's news post.

I didn't notice anyone rise for this challenge. It's the white rabbit from Alice in wonderland that always running late 'for a very important date'.

Heso! All right, so get this... we've got about an inch and a half of snow, which probably doesn't seem like much, but the sheet of ice under that pretty much guarantees that no bus is getting through. Not to mention that it's still snowing like crazy... and I have school! We didn't even get a delayed opening! Someone's going to die in this... and someone's going to cut school. Yeah, I'm going to cut school. I'm stickin' it to the man! Give me a snow day or give me death! Or... just mark me absent. I'd really rather not die, honestly.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Sorry to hear about all the bad luck Shauni. Hopefully things will improve soon.

As I mentioned in my new PV News post, I'm glad this week is nearly over. Been bouncing back and forth between different projects like crazy and most are still unfinished. Usually I just stick with one thing till I'm done with it but new stuff kept coming up this week... Haven't been getting as much sleep as I should either.
Plus the place I was planning to go Sunday is showing a 90% chance of snow. Not sure if I should go anyway or choose somewhere else. Though, at the moment, staying home, sleeping in, and finishing a bunch of the stuff I'm working on sounds pretty good...

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

I'm going to go to a David Copperfield show! You know, the magician? Or in technical terms, an 'illusionist.' Has anyone ever seen him perform?

No, but I've watched two videos. Which hardly compares to actually being there, but whatever.

Konnichiwa. We never get snow, just rain. So no days off for me due to weather. At least my car gets a free wash. :D

Oi. I've been missing a bit it seems. That was one of the most dramafied intro topics since when grammar was killed in... I forget who's intro topic.Speaking of drama- Nah, I won't bore you with my life.

How's your spine doing Shauni? I hope it's feeling better. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Snow. A common subject this time of year. We've had an odd winter here. They wouldn't let us out in icy weather from the school, but when it snows at night, and all the snow is melted or plowed off the roads by time we had to go to school (at least in our neighborhood it was) they let us out for the full day.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Heso!

Um yes snow. . . I've never actuall seen snow before. . . in my life. And we just had the hottest day here in the past 4 year's. It reached 40 degrees outside, and would have been way over 45 where I work. Note: Kitchens are aways hotter then the outside, particually when theres no air-con. Luckily I work in an open kitchen, if it wasn't an open kitchen... well I probably would have refused to work along with my head chef. As it is we should have been working in that heat anyway.

Anyone want to trade weather, I'd love some snow.

Apart from that my bike lock wouldn't unlock when I needed it to so I could get home. I ended up going to a hardwar store and buying a cheep hack saw so I could get it off. Now I need a new bike lock. v_v

And I hope you're feeling better Shauni. ^_^

Hi! So Australia doesn't get any snow, at all? I always thought it did in parts... You're gonna have to go someplace with a lot of snow sometime soon Kaida. Say one of the mountain ranges in the US or something. Cause if you're gonna experience snow, there isn't much of a point unless there's a lot of it. A whole lot of snow is fun, an inch or two is just annoying.

Actually It dose sone in Aussie, just mostly in the southern parts such as, and even then It's mostly in the higher up places such as mountians and not every year in other places.
And I just happen to live in the northen part in nice bright and pretty-much-summer-all-year-round Queensland. But just wait till I go to Victoria in August, because August is winter here and skiing season in Victoria, Just a few more months to go. Mweheheheheeee

Yo! I can understand Australia being really hot this time of year, seeing as it's in the Southern Hemisphere and when it's winter here it's summer there... plus, the northern parts of Australia are pretty close to the equator...

And if you wanted snow, you should have came to Ottawa this winter. I think at one point in December we had the most snow on the ground since the government started keeping track in 1955. I'm talking four-foot tall snowbanks on either side of my driveway, piled up from weeks of shoveling! Our entire lawn is buried under at least a foot of snow! And every time it snows, I have to shovel the driveway, which has become near-impossible with the aforementioned snowbanks. On the flip side, it makes for awesome snow fortresses. One the other flip side, have I mentioned that Ottawa is really freaking cold around this time of year? It's like -20 to -30 Celcius. And in the Summer it's usually at least +30.

CURSE YOU, EASTERN ONTARIO WEATHER!!! CURSE YOUUUUUU!!!!!

...

...And I sort of forgot where I was going with all this, so I'm going to go play some COD4. Seeya!
