Eh heh... In your and Atma's cases... I decided almost imediately that I liked the idea of a cute little Torchic/Mew pretty much running the show/shouting random jibberish about wrestling... Anyway, looks good! Looking forward to seeing more. I wouldn't really call it pixel art though, just computer art. I think the general definition of a pixel art comic is one using completely original sprites as opposed to straight game rips or recolors.
And I'm going by the Spriter's Resource definition for Pixel Art. Which is basically an oversized sprite. Completely original sprites are called custom sprites, or else... the organization of this sectionwouldn't make much sense.
For the record, I intend to have all currently active members show up at some point... and even some that aren't currently active. Like Stevenson. I'll chew 'im out about this lack of activity next summer, I will... Pretty good for Paint. Too bad you don't have a better program though. I mean, once you start using Photoshop it's kinda impossible to go back. Heck, it's worth it just for layers (though there's about a million other awesome things too). Not to mention that shading is a whole lot quicker and easier.
Anyway, yeah the crown is pushing it a bit, amusing though.
You know... Once you get a few more of these done, I wouldn't mind adding it to the Extras page on PV, if that's ok with you. Makes it easier for everyone to read the old ones and all.
