Games I've Played Recently

Got the final star (#242) in Super Mario Galaxy 2 last night. And man, it was hard. Most of the starts in Galaxy 2 didn't really give me much trouble but that one... Anyway, now it's onto Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, then Mega Man 10, and after that I plan to take advantage of the lull in new games that interest me to try and work through a few yet to be decided titles from my backlog.

Third 99 life try Wow, it took me a while but not nearly that long... I think it took me something like forty.

The flip-swap galaxy one was the one I failed on the most with 200~ deaths. I only got to the hammer bros 4 times and I did it on the 4th.

The cosmic clone flip switch starts were a huge pain in the neck, but I think they both took me no more than 20 lives.

Flip-out Cosmic Clones was annoying cause it seemed up to luck at the end if they'd overlap your path. :/

If anyone hasn't noticed, Steam has an enormous sale going on right now. I'm talking hundreds of games. If you don't have Plants vs. Zombies, this is a great time to get it. Also, you can pre-order the special edition of Monkey Island 2 and get the special edition of the first one for free.

Valve complete pack on steam. Half life series, Portal, TF2, Left 4 Dead, very good deal.

Finished Mass Effect 2, now I'm trying to get back into Team Fortress 2.

I got TF2 a couple of months ago, and that's been taking a lot of my time ATM. Real good stuff.

As well as that, Super Mario Galaxy 2 came out here on Thursday, and I got it on Friday, so I've been playing through that. Up to world 3 without much trouble, and I think I'm only missing one of the non-hidden, non-comet stars so far.

Raaaaaaaage! I downloaded Persona 3 Portable yesterday and I've been playing it avidly. But last night while I was playing it I started noticing icons disappearing. You could still select where they'd be, but it made finding any that changed really hard. I still played for a while, until the minimap disappeared. Gonna have to reinstall it and hope that fixes it...

Also been playing League of Legends lately, it's the freeware remake (of sorts) to the warcraft 3 custom map DotA Allstars. It's really well done and, quite awesomely, free!
