Underling

Alrighty, so the one I've got for this week is one I actually started reading not too long ago (as in, I started like a bit over a month ago) and, for the first time in a while, I REALLY liked it. Probably because it's got a lot of mythology in it, and I'm a total mythology nut... Anywho, the comic is called Underling.
Anyway! It's about a ne'er do well, rather genre savvy boy named Lazarus who gets caught up in a plan to bring the end of days... and that he is more than just an average boy. Along the way, he meets a Rakshasi (enter Hindu mythology!) named E-s-h-i-t-a (dashes aren't supposed to be there, but I had to insert them or else it got censored...) and, though they don't get along too well at first, they end up traveling together. We've also got demons of all sorts, tapping into some more obsucre mythologies other than just the usual Greek, Roman and Norse... which is awesome.
The artwork is great. I love the artist's style.
There may be some foul language here and there... I can't really remember. It's nothing significant.
And, I can't really post favourite comics easily without giving away the plot... but I feel some safe ones to post would be this and this! Anyway, I really love the comic. It's... rather interesting, because the main characters aren't really "good guys" (even check the the cast list), and with the integration of other mythologies, it makes for an interesting story...
...I feel like a lot of the comics I post here have to do with mythology. Brat-Halla, The God's Pack, and now Underling... well, all of them are different mythologies, so it works!
