Nya! My turn!

Well everone, I give you....Terror Island!

Plot Summery: Two roomates which are game pieces are trying to trick each other to buy groceries. I know that sounds like a weak plot, but it's pretty good. They've managed to get to 73 strips and still no food!
Art: Well, it's a photowebcomic! But the pictures are very clear and the fishleans for the demon Jame is awesome-ly cool.
Things to Know: The photographers are very philosochic,.so they always throw in philosophy into their webcomics whenever they get the chance. It updates three times a week (MWF), and I haven't been able to find an archived page, yet.
Favourite Comics: #16 #23 and #43 for a start.

Well, I read the whole thing. I have nothing against picture comics and actually think they can be pretty cool at times. Using game pieces for the characters is kinda an odd choice though. Actually, I think it'd be interesting to see this comic done with real people.
Graphic style aside, it had its moments but overall I didn't think it was all that funny. I did like most of the spelling bee comics but most strips seemed kinda hit or miss.

Ha ha! Wednesday thought he could sneak up on me, but I'm too fast for him.

I thought it was funny... Even for the few comics (mind, I've only read up to 50 due to lack of time) that... didn't quite work, just the idea of a bunch of game pieces trying to trick each other to buy groceries was funny enough to cover for it. Personally I even enjoy trying to think of why game pieces would even NEED groceries, because they clearly can't starve to death.

Although... the images did get kind of dull after a while. It's just a bunch of game pieces from different angles and in different places. Quite repetetive. But I guess that put all the attention on the dialog, which I enjoyed, so it evens out.

And I'd like to draw everyone's attention to strip number 14 because it pwns.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

-Double post killed-

So... it's shauni's turn to pick a comic, but she hasn't posted in this topic at all since joining, really. I say we make sure she's aware the topic exists.
