Round 4: The Village of Shadows

"Free!" I declare happily as ropes come off. "I wonder where they could of gone off to,but I was thinking. You know how our clue said what you seek lies beneath? What if the portal is in the pipes underground?"

[Dark Gentleman]

"Ah... now that sounds interesting..." D.G. said as he read more about the fountain square.

[Kaida]

((No, looking at the index for notabel sights in the village book.))

D.G. and KAIDA
The index in Kaida's book didn't list notable sights per say. It was divided into four sections: Restaurants, Shops, Accomodations, and Attractions.

The section on the Fountain Square in D.G.'s didn't contain much practical information about the square but there was a brief history of the artist who designed the fountain and the purpose of the various important gatherings that took place there. It was rather interesting but didn't seem like it would be very useful in finding the portal.

"Meh, that's cool, but not what I'm looking for..." D.G. thought to himself as he moved on to the next site.

[Winters Rage]

"Drat... Oh well." Chris said, shuffling down the tree. "Great. Lost, and for nothing... Guess I gotta find my way out of the one... Chris told himself as he tried to un-lose himself. "Probably would have been smarter for me to leave a trail of popcorn... Gah..." Chris said, wandering around, dropping popcorn to remember where he's been.

KAIDA & D.G.
The next site was the village park, which was created by Lord Winstrate, the ruler of the village around 1400 years ago. In addition to its creation by a famous historical figure, the park was also used for various important gatherings and social functions. A rather famous criminal was also said to hide out there about 1000 years in the past.

"Now that sounds interesting..." D.G. said as he read more.

[Winters Rage]

((Once again, as Chris's nature propels him, wanders aimlessly, unless, of course, he hears or sees something.))

"You should get dressed," Capperoff said, being careful not to look at Kako. "I'm just glad that they didn't take any of my stuff. I think you could be onto something, Kako. We should look into that."

[*^_^*kako]

Picks up cloths and puts them back on and starts picking up stuff off the ground. "What do we do if we run into those people again?"

"Run like h377" replied Capperroff.

CHRIS continued wondering around without a whole lot of luck. (Want to keep trying or do something else?)


D.G. & KAIDA
The history was rather interesting but, once again, he didn't see anything that looked particularily useful for finding the portal.

"Well then..." D.G. said as he closed the book and placed it back on the shelf. "It didn't tell me much, but the village park seems like it might be worth a look. If you'd like, you can accompany me there or stay here and do more research." With that, D.G. began walking towards the exit of the book store.

"Hey, can we try to find the shopping cnter? I want to buy something...." Said Capperroff.
