Eyes vs. Mage

Eyes was wandering through the forest that surrounded his home, inspecting his territory. His thread webs had informed him of an intruder. He raised his nose, lightly sniffing at the air and trying to pick up any new scent. Nothing new, as of yet anyway. "Hmm... maybe they've gone..."

Mage was strolling through the forest, yawning. "The great spirit. Such a bore to find." He said to himself. He started spinning his fingers, causing a small palm-sized tornado in his hand, trying to entertain himself.

Eyes turned sharply in a different direction, having just picked up something. He began sprinting through the trees, avoiding low branches and hopping over raised tree roots. Eventually, he spotted the intruder and stopped, hiding himself behind a thick tree. His ears twitched as he carefully looked at the man. How on earth had he gotten past Eyes' thread webs...? Well, only one way to find out. He jumped out from behind the tree, assuming his most intimidating look. "Hey pal! I don't know how you managed to enter my territory without being sliced into pieces but I want you out.", he said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Eyes' ears twitched several times as an anger vein articulated itself in his forehead. While the intruder still had his back turned, he began unraveling a few layers of long silky string from his wrists. He then channeled his demon energy into each individual thread, strengthening it and manipulating it to his fit his needs. The threads combined together to form a whip that could easily wind and manuver and yet also crush whatever came into its path. He then dashed towards the enemy and cracked the whip at his back. "Listen to me when I'm talking to you!", he said agitatedly.

Mage quickly turned, snapping his fingers, and freezing Eyes' legs to the ground before he can get close. "Don't mess with me boy."

Eyes didn't let the fact that his legs were paralyzed stop him from striking at his prey. He merely elongated the thread whip and it swiftly soared at the man, leaving a clean cut on his cheek as it passed beside his face. It then coiled back to its master. The fox turned cold eyes to the man. "You asked for it. Intruding on my territory without offering any explaination. As I stated earlier, I want you out.", he said slowly, venom dripping from his tone.

He rubbed his cheek softly. "All right... now its personal." He said, snapping his finger, and igniting 3 of the trees on fire, spreading quickly.

Eyes glanced to the side, watching as the flames consumed the trees and his webs. He didn't even register the fact that his legs were free as he was suddenly all over the intruder, sinking his fangs deep into the skin of the man's arm. As the warm blood flowed over his tongue and down his throat, he growled and tore the wound open further.

Mage cried out, bringign his hand in frotn of Eye's face, and causing a few small sparks of fire to fly into his eyes.

Eyes howled and reared back, rubbing frantically at his eyes. When his vision became somewhat clear again, he looked back to the man and growled in his throat. "Your blood tastes disgusting but... you will die with my mark on you.", he exclaimed.

"Then you should have just told me why you're here and then left.", Eyes replied, uncoiling his thread whip again.

The lightning missed its target and scorched the grass where Eyes had been standing. He had dodged to the side, and immediately cracked the whip in Mage's direction.
