The Dark Forest was quite. This in itself wasn't too unusall. However this was an erie quite. A silent figure loomed in the trees, waiting and biding his time.

Shauni stood in the eerily light darkness of the forest. She shouted out to the woods themselves, sensing the enemy

“Come out Zanther. I know you conceal yourself in the shadows.” She smiled “Hiding like the coward you are>“

"Oh not hiding. Just mearly watching." , said Zanther as he emerged from the trees. "I like to watch and learn. That's the fun thing about shadows. They are everywhere and seeing everything that they see is always a joy. The curoption (sp) that one can see and bend to one's will though shadows. So now tell me, what is it you want? A fight with the "Rude One" as you so put it?"

Shauni smiled
“Loath as I am to admit it, I shall not deny it. Defeating you will be very satisfying”

"Alright then. This will be rather enjoyable. No special rules. Everything goes in this fight. I won't hold back. This should be intresting." Then Zanther dug out what looked like an old style paint brush.

Shauni drew Gen Ren and Rikki Maru from there holsters.

”I don’t know what good you think a paint brush will do you, but I’ll gladly carve a personalized autograph with these daggers right in your face!”

"Oh this is more then an ordinary brush. Just wait and see what it can do." Zanther then on a nearby tree begain to paint a strange symbol. Suddenly the tree begain to shake and move. It's roots begain to move it like feet as it quickly headed towards Shauni, swinging all it's branches at her.

With one swift swipe, Shauni removed the offending branches from the marauding tree

“OH PLEASE! Animated trees? What kind of useless skill is that?”

She proceeded to charge towards Zanther, blades in a ready ‘slice and dice’ position.

”That brush won’t be much use when I lop of your arms”

Shauni was quick but Zanther was as well. As she was swinging Zanther worked his hands. Soon he had managed to back off abit. "There, one hand done."

Shauni looked down. On her wrist there was strange markings. The paint had dried instanly and couldn't be rubbed off. Then her wrist felt like a ton of brick was strapped to it. She couldn't move her arm very well.

"Like it? I can do more if you like."

Shauni laughed
“Its like Indian hand art. You should do it professionally”

Shauni threw the dagger in the offending hand into the ground.

”I can’t beat you with one hand.”

The thrown dagger created cracks in the earth under there feet. An earthquake began as the ground shuck violently, everywhere except under Shauni’s feet.

”I can move the earth with one hand.”

"Intresting. Once I beat you I think I'll have to take a very close look at those daggers. They hold great power. Though at a cost from what I've seen." Zanther didn't seem to be affected by the quake at all. He was afew inches above the ground, hovering using shadows. Zanther put the brush away. "We'll have more fun with it later. Now what should we do next?"

The dagger that was in the ground suddenly launched itself out of the ground. It flew towards Zanther and a wave of dirt followed behind it.

”Don’t get cocky you little punk!” Shauni yelled.

"If you say so." Zanther quickly disapeared into the shadows before the dagger reached him. Soon he was behind Shauni. "Shadow Ruin!"



Shadow Ruin: Sends out a wave of shadow energy from user's body. Destroys most things in it's path.

Shauni did not turn around; instead, she drove the remaining dagger in her hand backwards towards Zanther’s torso.

While she was doing this, a dark haze of gas thrust up from the ground, clouding Zanther’s vision and engulfing Shauni’s form.

Good thing for Zanther Shadow Ruin deflected the dagger. Now she tried to hide herself.

"Nice dust trick. But do remember, I can feel evil aura's and I do know those dagger's arn't on the side of good. So you might beable to hide but as long as you have the daggers, I can still sence you. Now for my next move."

Zanther sprouted his wings and flew into the air. "Snake Bite!" Zanther formed a large ball of energy and send it towards the ground.
