She wasn't able to hold her Nightmare self anymore and lunged at him, impaling him on her claws before he could even react.

"I...I'm sorry... to not have killed you earlier..."

So Link died.

And Absol was still miserable.

(More literate version....)

Link's eyes widen as the claws ripped threw his skin. Muscle and orgins were shredded as his life slowly decade.
"You....bi..." Before he could finish his last word, he died.

Absol watched as the water had a tint of red withen it.
{Ahahahaha.} He mocked his past owner.

She threw the corpse in the air before raising her hand, unleashing a torrent of nightmare energy to completely annihilate Link Tao save his soul, an unknown force saving him from complete nothingness. (Which is essentially what Nightmares are)

Her face turned to Absol with a grin. "Say...do you wish to have that power...to destroy all of those who oppose you...to reduce them to nothingness as you laugh at their miserable fate?"

{I DO have tyhe power to laugh, but, meh. I'm a pokemon. I have enough power as it is. So um, yeah, I guess I'll be on my way.} He started to swim off, probably back to the Rockets Headquaters.

She tried to lunge at him too but was stopped by something. Absol managed to return safely.
