Pebble Pets Rules/HFAQ

Rules wrote:
1. All usual forum rules apply of course.
2. Basically like... be cool. Don't be naggy and annoying. C'mon guys.
3. I can't really think of anything else right now.
4. But if I decide to add more later, you need to follow them retro-actively. I expect all of you to develop your ability to see the future to comply with this. As soon as you do, please tell me what other rules I add.

It's a silly forum game designed to offer visual incentives for people to post on the forums more and also an obvious Neopets clone. I-I mean, it's a pet raising game where you get your own customizeable pets to play with!

Why this, and not IPA?
...All right all right, so the inherent problem with IPA was that it was very tedious to update, and it had to be updated frequently because it took a long time for you guys to make progress even with daily updates. The goal is for this one to be a little more passive; you guys don't need to get a response from me to still earn your daily Pebbles.

How do I join?
Just post in the main thread asking to join! Once you've gotten your starter pet you're officially in.

What are THOSE guys doing here?!
Yes, as you may have noticed... it's not just Pokemon! It'll be mostly Pokemon that are available because they're a lot less work, but I threw in some other stuff just for kicks. You'll probably see at least a few other dudes from Monster Rancher, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Digimon.

Digimon? What's wrong with you?
For the record I know literally nothing about Digimon, aside from the fact that it's a 90's monster battling franchise, and that's why it's here.

You don't know anything about Digimon? What's wrong with you?
Listen punk,** there is not room in my heart for three 90's monster battling franchises. Monster Rancher is not going anywhere, and if I had to kick Pokemon out, well... I would have to get rid of quite a lot of merchandise. So Imma stick with those two.

Are you going to add in -blank- from -blank- series?
Probably not. I'm not gonna make a habit of taking requests, mostly because I don't predict having time to make tons and tons of sprites. If there are any simple monsters you want, we'll talk. Simple as in, not tons of details I would have to sprite out. Kuriboh = super easy, Blue Eyes = No thank you. I will however consider requests for specific Pokemon. Just PM me.

*Hypothetical Frequently Asked Questions. Obviously nobody's asked any questions yet, so I kinda had to make some up.
**Which means I called myself a punk, yeah.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

A little more info on Paintbrush colors:

Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green are the most basic of basic colors; you'll notice that in those colors, not every part of the pet changes. To model, I have a Sewaddle. This is what a "normal" Sewaddle looks like, which in our case is a Yellow Sewaddle.

This is a Green Sewaddle...

This is what he looks like in Red and Blue.

His leaf and his belly stay the same color; it's just the main body that changes. However, not all colors work that way. In colors like Purple, Pink, Brown, Black, and White, the other parts might change, not necessarily to the color of the brush, just to one that looks better with it.

Also, the "normal" version of the pet will be available through one of these colors*; here's a Pink Mocchi, for example.

*I have no intention of releasing an Orange Paintbrush however, since Orange and Red Pokemon tend to be very similar in color. If the "normal" color is Orange, you can get it with a Red Paintbrush, and some Pets when painted Red will look more Orange.
