Re: IP Advance: The Game! Discussion Thread
So anyway, as you've all noticed, IPA is back in business for the KotF. If you need your information, feel free to ask for it; keep in mind, though, that I probably have no idea how much money you have.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I have a reccomendatation. How about we start over with IPA? I mean, now most of the old users have epic teams of really super strong Ipokemon and it kinda seems un-fair-ish or something to me and I just thought, if everyone (or most everyone) would agree to press the restart button on IPA we could just have everyone go back to their original Ipokemon.
But that's only my opinion.

Re: IP Advance: The Game! Discussion Thread
Meaning I would have spent this long keeping track of everything for nothing? Meaning all the time Josiah spent raising his team was a waste? I'm doing my best here to keep it interesting for long-time members by introducing new things from time to time, but still keeping it n00b-friendly by keeping wild IPA low-leveled and keeping everything available at any time. And you want me to waste it?
Like. Hell.
If it's just because you don't want to be behind, trust me, it's not hard to catch up. Evolve a couple IPA and you can win two gym badges. Two gym badges come with 2,000 IC. 2,000 IC is enough to get an IPA almost all the way to 30 wins in the Day Care. You don't have to battle anyone that's stronger than you, and if you want to, you can set the conditions so that they have to use IPA of about your level. There is no disadvantage to having joined later than Josiah.
Plus you don't even post anymore, so why does it make a difference to you either way?

I agree with Silver. I don't want to lose my team. And yeah, it's fairly easy to catch up. Sure it may take a while to get as many 30 win IPA as I have, but you don't need a collection like that to take on the gym leaders or colliseum, or even to fight me (I've got plenty of weaker IPAs as well). Just work as it and you can build up a pretty strong team before too long.

Re: IP Advance: The Game! Discussion Thread
Sheesh, I didn't mean that... I was just wondering if people wanted to start it over, like starting over a ds game or something, I wasn't just saying that because I didn't want to be behind, I was just asking. I guess I should have put in there:
"Let the people decide if they want to start over personally." or something along those lines.
And I wasn't just meaning me, I thought a few more people had joined in as well, or maybe I am just mistaken, and I think (? can think up of a better word) you read that little bit on why I wont be online as often, my laptop is broken and I'm using my DSi, but now, my dad has put most of his important stuff onto his new computer and he says I might be able to use his laptop occasionally, but I'll still be mostly updating from my DSi. Basically what all the meant was that I might be able to get on more, as long as I remember. (Which isn't a problem, the problem is will.)
To sum it up:
No, I meant for you to waist everything you did.
No, It wasn't that I didn't want to be behind.
and
I may be able to get online a bit more than I could.

Yeah... a restart? Yeah... that's... no way.
Just... work your way up, like we all have.

After a long absence, I've decided to return to IPA. Did Silver put my little monstrosities in The Pound yet?

I don't think so.

Nah, haven't put anyone in the pound... haven't been paying enough attention to do so. I did have IPA up and running for the KotF, but... I'll probably get back to this once summer starts. ...Ok, so I'M technically out of school already, but no one else is so it doesn't feel like it. I still have to worry about proms and Otakons and helping Colly register for colleges and learning how to open at Burger King... way too much going on.

Re: IP Advance: The Game! Discussion Thread
Well, softball ended for me, and I have a little more free time (well... that'll go away in a week when my free time gets dedicated to finals-studying) so I can run through and do a quick update today.
May the Triforce be with you.

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.
So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

That was before I learned just how much summer homework I had... ugh.
I'm sorry, I really have no excuse, I'll try to be better and update whenever possible.
