The Challenges

[Celebifly]

Since everyone seems well posted, I'm going to start the challenge thread!

The rules are simple. During a challenge, no one is allowed to post in their team thread until this is over. Also, I will say how many people can participate, what you have to do, etc...

Plus which ever team wins gets a reward! :D

And who ever loses, has to vote a person off. Oi....

Hope you brought your art abilities with you! You have to colour a picture!
But everyone who's not an NPC has to participate in the colouring, So what will happen is that first person to post for their team colours a certain part of the picture, then posts the picture here, then who ever posts next, and etc...until the picture is done!

Backgrounds are a must.

[Simeon]

A piece of paper landed on Simeon's face as a butterfly like creature fluttered away. After reading the instructions, Simeon showed the first challenge to his team.

"I guess I get first dibs..." the lion-morph said with a tinge of embarrassment. Selecting a few flowers from the woods, Simeon quickly made some dyes and set about coloring part of the picture and blurring the lines a bit to make the picture look a tad more presentable.

He stopped midstroke and thought a bit. Shading was his favorite part of coloring lineart, but he had basecolored a large chunk of the picture already... feeling a little torn, Simeon sat back and tried to decide whether or not he should shade his part of the coloring.

Sensing time was of the essence, Simeon stepped away from the picture and waited for his teammates to pick up the paint...

He wondered if leaving his part unshaded was a good idea...



He winced... That wasn't supposed to come out that way...

[Stevenson]

Stevenson quickly picked up some of the local herbs and things and made a few paints, then he set to work. "In case you wonderful people haven't figured it out, I'm starting this picture." he said to the rest of the tribe. he decided to shade, since, you know, it was being judged in artustuc abilities. As he finished, though, he was a bit worried that he had messed up just a tad...

[Silver]

"All right, all right, gimme that..." Silver said, snatching the image as well as some of the paints, although he still had to make some of his own...

"Gah! I'm a spriter, not a painter! I tried to use that to our advantage, though... I made some colors we can use for shading." he said, showing the image

[Josiah]

*Josiah had been watching Simeon and quickly took up the challenge once the lion morph had finished. Shading was all well and good but for his part, Josiah decided to try a different approach. He hoped that the others would like it.*

[mute]

"OK. Color. I can do this."
Mute ran along the waters edge, holding the picture, and looking for something else to color it with. Unfortunately, a rock intterupted the path in which his foot was going. He fell, dropping the picture into the water.
"Ummm... I think that's enough of my imput. Sorry," He said, after fishing the painting out of the sea.

[Simeon]

Simeon was panicking.

The Sapphires looked up a shivering tree to see a most preturbed ball of black fluff and feathers perched on a branch above their heads. It was almost impossible to tell whether or not the sight was a lion-morph or an oversized black cotton-ball...

No one moved. Finally, on the verge of nervous breakdown, Simeon fell out of the tree and landed with a crash in some nearby bushes.

"D-don't mind me..." Simeon said in a child-like voice, poking his snout out of the foliage, "I'll wait right here... Ooh! Berries!"

The team members traded weirded out looks and shrugged.

Someone had to move, and Simeon was fighitng himself from finishing the whole thing by himself... literally.

[Zobie]

Zobie rushed in and snatched up the paper without a word. He then started rubbing blue flowers all over the paper except where the main picure was. He missed a bunch of places that looked messy at first, but turned out to look like wonderful clouds.

[Celebifly]

Celebifly flew majestically down as Zobie finished with the art work.

<span style='color:green'>"Team Ruby wins!" She smiled as the team jumped for joy. "As promised, here's your fishing gear and boat. Enjoy!" She giggled.
"Team Sapphire, nice effort, but alas, your team lost. Because of that, you each have to vote someone off." And with that, Celebifly flew off, but she left each member of Team Sapphire with a torch.</span>

(Ok, easy as pie, just PV-mail me who you want out Team Sapphire! badda-boom, badda-bing! Remember, they have to be from your team x3)

[shauni]

Shauni returned from fishing only to find everyone in a slum
"What's the matter?"

"o...I'm...I'm sorry..."
((Please note I am offline every weekend, its not really fair to have a challenge when I can't get on the internet...))

[Zobie]

({Uhh...Thats no good. Im only ever online during weekends. Sometimes during weeks but not very often...})

[Neo Zanther]

Well, had I even been able to get on this weekend, I would of had no way of doing any coloring at all. I still havn't gotten my butt into gear and gotten me a computer. I really need to.

[Josiah]

Hey, wait a minute... If Neo Zanther didn't participate in the coloring Team Ruby shouldn't win since not all of their people were involved.

[Stevenson]

Ah, but neither Shauni nor Matrix Kirby participated in yours, so it's not really different.
