PV and ROM will be updated in a few minutes. But Shauni, since you're gonna be changing the archives around, I would like to point out that your comic numbers are currently way out of sync with mine so keep that in mind.

Also, what ever happened to that t-shirt art you were working on?

Sorry about the delay on the T-shirt. I’ve done a few sketches since the last version, but I’ve been really busy lately and I’ve not had time to colour any of them. I’ll work on one of them for you ASAP. I figured you wouldn’t be needing it while you were still in Japan anyway…so I’ll admit I kept putting it off while I was working on some other things. I am REALLY sorry about the delay Josh. I’ll put it on the top of my to do list…in fact, I’ll scan a few of the sketches for you tonight, uncoloured; you can let me know what you think.

As for the comic numbers, I will give you the number from the website that responds to the comic. The numbers I e-mail are different because I’ve had a mess around with the master archive and that’s how the numbers worked out.

ROM comic t-shirts will be worked on ASAP as well. As you might have guessed, alot of things have happened in my personal life and it's limiting the time I can work on artwork. I've been trying for a few weeks to get more than one ROM comic done a week, but i've failed. Fitting in any extra stuff has been even harder...but I did promise you artwork for the T-shirts...and I always keep my promises...I will get them done ASAP, and keep ROM on one a week until I'm up to date on all these side projects.

Ok thanks. As for Japan, I didn't have time to do anything with them while I was touring and getting settled but now that I've got all that out of the way, I'm ready whenever.

Okay, these are the colours i'm going to use. From the looks of the sprite, these are correct.

This image is the Grass kid alone, ignore the grass, I was just going to use the grass effect I use in ROM http://www.pebbleversion.com/ROM/ROMArc ... ler13.html

Version three is a different running pose I was playing with. The cloths will be the same colour in version one.

Version four was an idea I had about two weeks ago...a paranoid grass kid....perhaps I will do it without the evil gras, just sticking to the effect I will use in version two and three

I have more, but I can't find them at the moment...there in a sketch book somewhere....I'll dig them out.

Rant Title: ROM Restoration Project takes off!

Behold! The first ROM comic ever! These are the original artworks for the first ROM comic, draw back in September 2004, redone to fit with the current format. The first version of the comic used real photographic backgrounds, because at the time, I thought they looked better…but I’ve come to believe that the original hand drawn backgrounds fit in much better with the cruder artwork. The text hasn’t changed significantly in this comic. The only real difference is it’s been ‘gleamed up’ and the text ‘Of hardship and of sorrow’ has been added to reflect the true nature of the comic as it is today.

In case you didn't know, this was originally a Role Playing game on the Pebble Version forums http://forums.pebbleversion.com

The topic was originally started by a forum member called Golden_Sun, and follows the misadventures of 5 gamers after getting sucked into a computer game.

The title ROM actually stands for "Realm of Monsters", and the game world they have been drawn into is the magical land of Orca.

Rant Title: Final Fantasy 3...wait, shouln't there be a '1' before that?

Yes, I have finaly bought FF 3 for my DS from e-bay. Here is a little youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAN2kpsJ1Vk clip that shows you the game play and also has a nice little voice over review that I mostly agree with.

Anyway, this marks an important event for your artist. As some of you know, the FF games are my second fav series (only just beaten to the post by pokemon) and the fact I finally have FF 3 in my hand marks the fact I have every FF game between 1-12. I have a few of the spin off as well, like legends 1 and 2, Dirge of Cerberus, tatics advanced and the Kingdom Heart Series (cameo's, but meh...the FF cast are in there) as well as both movies.
