"Pride? OOOO! I saw that movie! Seven! I know these! I know these...there's Seven Deadly Sins that humans shouldn't use, though I think Pride should be replaced by gloating..." Opal commented as everyone looked at her oddly.
"What? I'm just trying to remember the names of the seven deadly sins...I need a piece of paper." Opal grabbed a piece of paper from her pockets and a black pen and started to jot down notes.

(I would post them, but since Opal hasn't thought about them in a while, she has to think about it ^^)

Apathy:

Lack of interest or concern, especially regarding matters of general importance or appeal; indifference.
Lack of emotion or feeling; impassiveness

It is just more effective as a character than being lazy, which is what SLOTH is))

"This isn't the time to make a list!" *Josiah yelled.* "Hell Fire, go!" *Electriblast appeared and knocked Ivy to the side before she could press her attack on Shauni. Eying the monster wearily, Ivy moved behind her own creatures.*

"She's only got three monsters, we can win this easily!" *Neo pulled out his cards.*

"Be careful." *Jeff cautioned from the sidelines.* "I'm sure she's stronger than she looks."

"So are we!" *Eager to try out his spell cards, Josiah quickly held one up.* "Supreme Haste on Hell Fire! Now, Fireball Charge!"

Heck, no ordinary monster can stand up to Tashi. But there's only three there, and I can't hog all the fun... go on, Manja! Get rid of one of those mutant plants with Black Flames! But first, I'll try out this Up Flame Spell Card Thingamajig..." Silver dropped Manja's card on the ground before comanding an attack, and released the Spell Card before it could follow through. With its attack power significantly boosted, Manja attacked one of the Mandrakes with Dark Flames of d00m. I mean, uh, doom. No 1337 snuck into that. Seriously.

Neo had to decide on what monster to use. Though none of his had an advantage over the earth type, if his luck held out, he could still pull off a water move.

"Raquezez come on out! Use Team Attack!" Raquezez glowed a fait green and then a Hydro Cannon shout out at one of the Mandrake hitting it dead on.

"Sorry...." Opal blushed, putting away the piece of paper. "I'll write them up afterwards. Ground eh? Go Nessy!" She summonded him out. "Use winding river!" She commanded as the fast moving river moved fastly at the Posion Pyrogothica.

Out of the mists it strode in all of its beauty... rare amongst the rarest of creatures.

The Guardian smiled. He had seen this creature before in the days he spent in the dark and cold... aside from the children that he communed with through the Archangel, this living symbol of purity and peace was among the things that kept him sane to some extent.

Mahri stirred from her sleep and smiled at the creature. The creature of legend seemed to respond to her...

The Guardian looked at the prize he had in his satchel as he picked up the still sleepy (but very happy) Mahri in his arms. They both got what was needed today... all that needed to be done now was to cast the sacred item into silence where it may not be misused until it is needed.

Though, it will be a few days before the Guardian knew he had to go on this walk again. That is, if his destiny decided to dally a few more days...

*All the attacks struck the same Mandrake, KOing it instantly.*

"Is that all you've got? You really suck at this don't you?"

"Silver," *Shauni groaned,* "stop taunting the super powerful boss character."

"I assure you, this battle is far from over." *Ivy glared at them.* "Poison Pyrogothica, Mud Storm!" *Suddenly mud was flying everywhere. It was all the gamers could do to stand, much less see.* "Now," *Ivy's voice was barely audible over the howling wind and flying mud,* "Mandrake, use Timber!"

"Gah!" *Josiah took a glancing blow but before he could recover and counter the Mandrake had moved and was attacking someone else. Unaffected by the mud, it could see them even though they couldn't see it.* "Virgo, Divine Gift!" *He called, hoping that the attack and defense boosting spell would help everyone weather the attack.*

The attack of Josiah's seemed to work and the groups monsters avioided most of the damage. Tsuekasa finally took out her card and summoned Bubble. "Use Water Pulse on the other Mandrake!"

"Use Team Attack again Raquezez!" Again it glowed green and Acid Rain begain to fall on Ivy's 2 monsters. "Well, that worked out nice."

Ivy jumped back up to the vantage point of the tree

"Posion Pyrogothica, use Explosion!"

The green pyrogthica charged at shauni's red pyrogothica

"Pyro! Counter with the same attack!"

She two griffins charged and there was an almighty explosion.

As the mist cleared Pyro stood, swaying, while PP was no where to be seen.

Shauni looked up, and shore enough, the green griffen was flying in the air.

It suddenly dived down, aiming at the gamers themselfs

"Take out the vermin with Terra Strike!"

"Wait a minute! I can handle the mud! Go on, Arco! Use Colors of the Wind!" Silver shouted, just realizing that the flying mud would be easy to get rid of. Arco Iris appeared from its card and created a large gust of brightly glowing wind to blow the mud from Poison Pyrogothica's attack away. "Now... let's finish off that other Mandrake! Use Broken Light!" The Parrot attacked the Mandrake, weakened by Neo and Tsuekasa's attacks, with a beam of light; hopefully, this would be enough to leave Poison Pyrogothica as Ivy's only monster, and shauni seemed to have a handle on that...

Ivy dodged the attack by jumping from the tree on Poison Pyrogothicas back
They flew up in the air together and Ivy jumped off, landing on the ground
"Your more formidable than I thought you'd be....very well...I will engage you in combat myself you murdering scum!"

She ran forward, and slashed at Virgo with poison claws on her hands. Her braid also coming into play, lined with poison needles.

Metalmorph charged at Ivy with his Hard Head attack connecting and knocking Ivy to her feet. "Stop. We had nothing to do with what happened to your village. You have to beleave us. I really don't want to hurt you."

Ivy reels back, not really effected by the half hearted attack
"I won't believe you! I had to hold my sister in my arms while she bled to death! I WON'T BELIEVE YOU! Your hands are stained with the blood of my family!"She shot poison needles at Metamoprh from her braid
"I won't believe you! NEVER!"

Shauni yelled out in desperation "Please stop! We don't know what your talking about! Really! Please"
Ivy snapped back "Don't YOU DARE DENY THIS HELLSPWAN MAIDEN! YOU WHERE LEADING THE ATTACK YOURSELF! I SAW YOU!"
Shauni's face suddenly drained of all colour "No...she didn't...no...."
Ivy lanced more poison needles at Shauni from her claws.
Shauni was so detracted...she let them strike her.
