"So, you're using Kojie?" *Josiah was grinning. Despite everything else that had happened, he was determined to enjoy this battle.* "Then let's make this a light against light battle. Go Rayzion!" *The angel monster appeared and calmly faced Kojie.*

"All right then, let's get this party started!"

"Do you HAVE to say that every time you start a battle?"

"Uh... yes. Yes I do. All right Kojie, Sun Ray!" a beam of light struck Rayzion; at first, this did absolutely nothing as the monster was a light type and thought nothing of it... but after moments of being exposed to this extreme sun, the angel-like monster burst into flames. This attack was, in effect, holding a giant magnifying glass over Rayzion and treating him as a giant ant.

"That's a nice trick," *Josiah commented,* "but it's only going to make my next attack stronger. Rayzion, use Mirror Slice!" *The angel charged forward, swords drawn.*

*Silver watched in surprise as the swords themselves burst into flames the same instant the fire covering Rayzion went out.*

"It's not called Mirror Slice for nothing!" *Josiah called as Kojie was hit by the combination light/fire attack.* "It can remove status effects and mirror them back onto the opponent! Now, for my next attack..."

"Wrath of God!!!"

*They both called the attack at the same time. The explosion when the two attacks met was enourmous, but when it died down, neither monster appeared to have taken damage.*

"Looks like their Wrath of God attack are completely equal. Impressive."

"Hey, I'm not a wimp anymore, remember. I'm still mostly clueless about everything, I still say Holy Fudge Crackers a lot, and I'm still the comic relief, yes, but I can hold my own in any battle you can! Kojie, Light Razor!" A loud roar from the lion-like Kojie pierced the battle field as a ray of light that resembled a lightning bolt pierced Rayzion.

"Use Heaven's Retribution, Rayzion!"

"Photosynthesis!" Rayzion's powerful attack struck Kojie and damaged it heavily, but the Light monster took at advantage of it plant-covered body and restored a lot of its health using the power of the sun. Kojie may not have been as fast as most of Silver's other monsters, but it sure could take a hit...

"Tch. Rayzion is stronger overall but that healing move could be a problem. If Kojie keeps healing itself it will probably be the last one standing. Unless... Rayzion, Mirror Slice!" *Although there were no statuses to transfer, the sword combination still dealt a good bit of damage to Kojie.*

"You shouldn't have gotten so close!" *Silver tuanted.* "Wrath of God!" *The attack struck Rayzion dead on, knocking it back and weakening it significantly.* "After that sword attack, Rayzion was too close to dodge or counter! Looks like you made a mistake!" *Silver looked at Kojie, which was also looking rather weak.* "Better heal up before Rayzion recovers. Sun shine!" *The entire area grew brighter.* "Now, Photosynthesis!"

"Got you!" *Josiah yelled as Rayzion staggered to its feet.* "Between Heaven & Earth!!!" *An enourmous ray of light energy, powered up even more by Sun Shine, fell from the sky, smashing Kojie into the ground before it could finish healing.* "You're not the only one whose learned some new moves! It's really hard to hit a moving monster with Between Heaven & Earth but I knew you'd make the perfect target while healing. It's the most powerful single hit attack that any of my monsters know!"

*Meanwhile, the light from the attack was fading. Josiah and Silver looked down to see...*

((If Kojie is KO'd feel free to KO Rayzion with your next monster.))

((Well, I kinda had something in mind here...))

...A very badly wounded Kojie struggling to its feet, just barely managing to stand. "I shoulda seen that coming... There's no way Kojie can win this now... but... at least it survived that attack... It'll never be able to pull off another Wrath of god... but we've got to do something..." Silver mumbled to himself, not sure what he should do next. A very bruised and scraped Kojie stood in the crater left by the attack, panting heavily and awaiting instruction. "All right, Kojie, if there's one thing we've learned from Opal, it's how to go out with a bang! Use Sun Ray... on yourself!"

"What?!" Josiah was sure Silver had finally lost it as the monster burst into flames, its grassy fur plus the Sun Shine attack causing the fire to spread quickly and Kojie becomming nothing but a huge ball of flames almost instantaneously.

"Now, just throw yourself at it!" Silver commanded, the flaming Kojie running at Rayzion with the last ounce of strength it had. The lion leaped and collided with Rayzion, both monsters knocked out on impact. "Sorry I had to do that to ya, buddy..." Silver said to Kojie, although it was kinda of unconscious and couldn't hear it as the singed lion returned to its card. "All right, let's continue this battle with... Nessie!"

Opal watched as Kojie combusted into flames. "Hey, I taught him that!" She pointed out to the people beside them. Now she watched as Silver sent out his Nessie. "Well...this is going to be interesting..."

"Wow..." *Josiah was taken aback by Silver's last move.* "You really caught me off guard there... I wasn't expecting a kamikaze attack."

"I'm full of surprises! I can take anything you've got!"

"Ok then," *Josiah grinned,* "let's see how you handle this. Go, Mythril Dragon!!!" *Josiah's silvery dragon appeared and looked down at Silver's water monster.* "Start the battle with Air Gun!"

The large sea-fairing monster was struck by Mythril Dragon's Air attack. However, like Kojie, Nessie was built for staying in battle for a long time; it had high defences and an unbelievable ammount of hit points, but was not very fast, nor were its attacks incredibly powerful. Except, of course, when battling underwater, when Nessie would usually have the upperhand... "Use Freezing Torrent!" A waterfall of near-frozen water poured down on Mythril Dragon, turning to ice upon contact but chipping when the beast hit the ground. It was completely incased in ice at this point; flying is difficlut when you can't move. Mythril Dragon wouldn't have a hard time breaking free, though. "Now, Submerge!" Salty water flowed into the battlefield from all sides, the arena now completely flooded and Mythril Dragon almost completely thawed.

"Nice, nice, but you may have been better off skipping that last move. I bet it weakened the ice quite a bit so let's see what happens now." *Knowing that Mytrhil Dragon couldn't hear him while underwater, Josiah used his new powers to give it an order. A moment later, Mythril Dragon burst out of the water and halted its Invincilbe Charge attack. Like Nessie, it was a high defense monster that was used to taking lots of hits.*

"Well then, we'll just have to freeze it again right Nessie? Freezing Torrent!"

"I don't think so! Velocity!" *Mythril Dragon gained a massive speed boost, allowing it to easily evade the attack.* "Now, Invincible Charge!"

Though when battling on land it would have been near impossible to get out of the way in time, Nessie had no problem manuvering out of the way of the speeding dragon now that it was underwater. "Now, Shattered Soul!"

Mythril Dragon stopped its charge once again so as not to slam right into the ground, turning around only to be confronted by Nessie's legendary attack...

*Josiah did some quick thinking. Even with Mythril Dragon's speed boost, it probably wouldn't be able to dodge Nessie Shattered Soul attack, but that didn't mean it had to just sit there and take the hit.* "Supreme Guard!" The defense boost activated instantly but there was only a couple seconds left before the legendary attack would strike and it would still do too much damange.* "Use Invincible Charge and go right through the attack!!!"

"Holy fudge crackers!" *Silver gasped as Mythril Dragon shot straight into the center of Nessie attack. It took a lot of damage (although less than if it would have simply taken the full blast) but a moment later it emerged on the other side and smashed right into a startled Nessie.

"We can't give it a chance to recover!" *Josiah's eyes were fixed on the monsters, Nessie was certainly damaged but he couldn't tell how weak it really was. Mythril Dragon, meanwhile, was ok for the moment although another legendary attack or two would probably finish it off.* "Use Wind Tunnel!!!

"Nessie!!" Nessie spun around in the water a bit, trying to regain balance after Mythril Dragon's Invincible charge. "Winding River!" Silver commanded as the Wind Tunnel attack sucked Nessie in. The plesiosaur-like monster summoned a powerful stream of water and pulled it into the vortex, using it to absorb some of the blades that struck it while in the tunnel of air. A very dizzy Nessie emerged from the attack, scratched heavily by some of the blades of air but not nearly as bad as it could have been. "Now, try Ice Explosion!" The Loch Ness Monster rip-off fired a storm of ice at Mythril Dragon, although it was still dizzy and a lot of blocks of ice didn't even come close to hitting.

Josiah's Dragon easily dodged most of the attack, but the beauty of Icce Explosion was that it was nearly impossible to dodge completely. No matter what, at least one chunk of ice would connect and deal decent damage at that speed. "Invincible charge!" Before the stream of ice had ceased, Mythril Dragon charged through the storm, bits of ice pelting it as it sped through but not really hurting it. Once again it slammed into Nessie at incredible force, sending the monster backwards a bit and dealing heavy damage. Not quite enough to finish it off, though; Nessie was built for staying in battle.

"Shattered Soul again!" Knowing that Mythril Dragon would have a hard time protecting itself at close range, Silver commanded the slowly tiring Nessie to use its most powerful offensive attack once more...

((Go ahead and knock Nessie out in your next post; the only reason I didn't finish it off now is because I'm trying to emphasize that it's one of Silver's tougher monsters, albeit not quite that strong offensively, and I don't have enought time to end the battle now.))

"Hang in there Mythril Dragon, we're almost there! Use Invincible Charge one last time!" *Once again, Myhtril Dragon flew straight into the oncoming legendary attack and smashed into Nessie. The dino let out a low roar as it fell, creating a giant spray of water, drenching both Josiah and Silver, before returning to its card.* "Good job Myhtril Dragon." *Josiah looked proudly at his monster, which was no longer flying but laying weakly on the muddy ground. It had barely made it through the last Shattered Soul attack, another second or two and it would have been KO'd. As is, it was far too weak to fight any longer.* "Return!"

"This last battle will decide the champion." *Silver stared across at his friend.*

"I'm impressed Silver, you train your monsters hard yet treat them with care and respect like I do. It shows in the way they fight for you. That was something that even Bowen's monsters lacked, for all his skill and knowledge. Are you up to a last challenge? Come on, choose your strongest monster to face mine! Let's see just how far you've really come!"

"Yeah!" *Silver matched Josiah's grin.* "Let's see who's the strongest is now!"

"GO!!!"

((Ok Silver, you can start the battle. My monster will be Virgo, she can use her pendant to teleport instantly to where I am so she doesn't have to walk or fly down to the battle field.))
