ROM 2: Zodiac Legends

"Go Toshi and Ummie! Poison Bite and Acid Rain!" As usual, purple rain started pouring down and Toshi bit both Zodiac Legends, causing the purple color to slowly cover them

"You really like that combo, don't you?"

"It's unbeatble, even for these guys! So maybe it takes a while... it'll make them vullnerable! And I haven't gotten to kick Zodiac butt in a while. There was Cancer, next thing I knew there were three left!"

"Ya know, they are pretty pathetic with a sword like this..."

"I bet I can get rid of one of them without a sword! Go Huene, False Hypnosis!" The insect appeared from its card and spread its wings. Capricorn made the mistake of looking directly at them, causing it to fall over and giving the others a chance to attack as Aquarius KO'd Huene...

*David was halfway to the city when it started to rain.* "Oh. Great." *He ran the rest of the way there. Lightning struck the ground in front of him. He screamed.* "Damn! That was close!" *He continued his way when a monster appeared above him. It was a giant, blue bird.
"I am Reyphen, and I'm here to kill you!"
*David fought the monster, unkowing why it attacked. He sent out his monsters one by one.* "Rapid Gust! Power Surge! Sole Might! Blue Storm!" *But his attacks were nothing to the bird.*
"There is nothing you can do, boy. Solar Force!"
*The last thing David remembered was that a beam brighter than the sun shot down from the sky. The he was knocked out.

"Hmm..." *Josiah flipped through his monster cards, trying to decide which one to use.* "Which one?"

"Erosion!" *Aquarious attacked.*

"Crap, I need to start deciding faster..."

"Virgin Veil!" *Virgo jumped in front of Josiah, blocking the attack with a glowing shield.* "Please," *she turned to him,* "let me prove my worth."

"Right! Use Strength of Heart!" *A warm light pulsed around the humans and their monsters as they felt their strength increase.* "Now Mecha Overdrive!" *The attack sent Aquarious flying into Capricorn. Both of were back on their feet quickly, looking extremely angry.*

"Go Spinder! Richter Break!" *Silver released the Spider from its card and it created a massive earthquake off the Richter Scale, hence the name, Richter Break. It caused Capricorn to trip so Virgo could use Mecha Overdrive again... and caused Spinder to evolve! It was now the Ground/Ice Type Spindice*

*Jeff finally broke free from his electric prison.*

"The doom of a planet... Crush Punch!"

*A pillar of fire erupted from beneath Aqaurias; killing her instantly.*

"Jeff, you're free."

"Storming Goat!"

*An electrified goat struck Jeff, paralyzing him again.*

"Damn..."

"Virgo! Maiden's healing!" *Virgo used her magic to on Jeff, freeing him once more.*

"Grr... I'll destroy you all now with"

*A gunshot echoed as Capricorn tried and failed to attack.* "Heh, you shouldn't have forgotten about me." *Mustadio grinned.* "But hurry up, that snipe isn't going to last long on a powerful guy like that."

"Let's finish it then! Pure light!"

"Crush Punch!"

"Richter Break!"

*The three attacks hit at the same time, destroying Capricorn. A golden light surrounded Virgo as she grew to her final form.*

"Yeah! Only one more Zodiac Legend to go!" *Silver cheered as Josiah gathered up the shards and added them to his sword.*

*Virgo, now arrayed in gold armor and carrying a long spear, cast her healing spell on the others and turned to face them.* "I wouldn't celebrate just yet."

*The group watched in horrer as Moen spirits appeared all around them in numbers that dwarfed anything they had seen before. The very ground seemed to move as the army surged towards them.*

"Holy fudge crackers..."

*With no time to rest, the group summoned their monsters and drew their weapons, this wasn't going to be easy...*

*Jeff cut the accuracy of the spirits in half and boosted everybody's resiliance.*

"These guys are weak; but there's so many of them! We won't be able to last longer than an hour."

"Well we'll just have to finish in less then an hour then."

"Acid Rain! Poison Bite! Sun Shine! False Hypnosis! Fudge Crackers! Er... Just do something!!!" A few monsters were KO'd after Toshi bit them, but that wasn't going to help with an army of 1000...

"Let's see what you can do... Heavenly Spear!"

"Holy Draw!" *5 monsters went down after that powerful attack*

"Hold on... Spindice, Avalanche!" *The ground started to shake and a massive amount of snow fell, engulfing about 150 monsters. They weren't KO'd but they were trapped, meaning they wouldn't need to be battled until they escaped, which would take a while*

"Wait a minute! This is a trap! We have to get out of here! Grab hold of me!"

*Everybody grabs a hold of Jeff. Just as the made it out, a huge explosion engulfed all of the monsters.*

"...Elibdis."

"You mean..."

"Yeah, that was the Zodiac spell."

"Crap... this is going to suck."

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Let's just say this guy knows some insanely powerful spells. Things none of you have ever seen before. Monsters won't do anything here so forget them. This fight is weapons only."

((It's not David.)P "You are doomed. Once I use this. *Fancy Zodiac transformation.* Ha ha ha! You have no chance to survive."

"Well here goes nothing. Focus all your attacks on him. Ignore the other monsters."

"Actually Silver use your monsters on them. That should work, right Jeff?"

"That's a good point. Think you can handle it? Just watch out for their Bio 3 attack."

"Yeah okay. I can handle that."

"Poison Frog!"

*cough cough* "Ugh... I don't feel so good... must... NO! I can't sleep! Gotta fight it! Luna's Song!

*Jeff was completly healed and un-poisoned.*

"Zodiac!"

"LOVE SHIELD!"

*The attack nearly obliterated Shauni.*

"The shield protected... Would I like to learn Zodiac? Yes."

"Sweet! Shauni knows Zodiac now. We've got some real firepower now!"

"Acid Rain and Poison Bite!" *Purple rain started falling but the monsters were too fast so Toshi couldn't bite them* "Fudge Crackers... False Hypnosis!" *Any Monsters staring directly at Huene's wings were KO'd, and the ones that caught a glimpse were parylized* "Poison Bite now!"

((Ah, you brought in the 13th Zodiac monster. I was actually planning to do that soon myself if you didn't beat me to the punch ^_^ BTW Jeff: You do realize that ROM is still supposed to be a monster training game, right?))

"The 13th Zodiac Legend. I figured you'd show up sooner or later. Let's see how you like this! Eroding Strike!"

"Pityful." *He took Josiah's attack without flinching.* "Sea of Serpents!" *Poisonous green snakes rained down around the group.*

"So much for the Zodiac Sword... Don't even know what element this guy is." *Josiah muttered while slicing the falling reptiles.* "Virgo will you?"

"Yes." *She didn't need him to finish the question.* "Let's do it."

"Virgo merge with me and form...Heavy Metal!" ((Yeah, I know that's a corny name)) *When the light faded Josiah was fully clad in a jagged suit of armor, complete with billowing cape. A large shield was on his left hand and a humongous broadsword in his right.* "Metal Wave!" *He slammed the sword into the groud, creating a shockwave that vaporized the remaining snakes.* "Now, let's do this."

"Zodiac magic....."
shauni stood up, and drew her daggers, a strange power surged threw her body, a very unpleasent feeling
"no, this is not zodiac magic....its...its AHHHHHHHH!"

"Shauni?" yelled Jeff, who looked away from Heavy Metal as he heared her scream
"Pittiful!" she yelled, and she ran towards the zodiac

"Blackness Heart!" she yelled as she struck it
The monster fell to the ground as if defeted, but it wasnt
shauni tured to them "You see my comrades, I am MOEN!"

"What?????" yelled Jeff
"Shauni! what the hell??"
Shauni smered evily as the zodiac she has struck stood up, the cut shauni has made on its chest pulsed and the zodiac stood 7 feet taller than before, now with musles that rivled Arney
"I have no physical form as you do, so I use a hoset. I have decided now on her, like you would attack her"
She grinded again
"Destry them!"
The monster growled loudly

"Shauni! fight him!"
"She cant here you, she is in the Dark Realm, and she cant come back until she have destryed me, and you cant do that without killing her body! ahahahahah!"

suddenly shaunis voice came from behind them
"i agree"
They turned to see that she was actually standing there behind them
"What???"
shauni smiled "ha, fooled ya!"
Moen shauni shouted "What?? What is this???"
"Mirror, return"
Suddenly Moen shauni glew and a light came way from her, a spirit formed infront of it and took the form of a golden maiden holding a mirror
"That's Mirror, my newest spirit" shauni grinned to herself
"what the? huh?"
shauni pointed "Explanations later, look at Moen!"
They looked over, what they thought was Moen shauni took the form of Codo
"Codo and I knew that Moen would try to make a host out of one of use, most likely me, he gave me the mirror card and told me to have it cast Reverse on him. Codo then took on my appearance with the power of the card. Codo said it was the only way to kill Moen, was if he had a body......
To deceive an enemy you must first deceive you allies....."
Moen codo began to bellow loudly a clever trick! But i dont think you will be killing old man codo eather!"
shauni looked down "That was Codos wish......We WILL kill you"
