Ok, bear with me, this is going to be my first attempt and trying a new game.
Killer:Goal is to remain undetected and kill everyone. The killer may kill only person after each round, will be raised with more people. May communicate with other players to throw them off.
Scorekeeper: Neither a Killer nor a victim. Observes the game and keeps track of guesses and rounds and who has been killed.
Victim: Everyone else. Each victim gets two guesses at who the killer is, unless they are killed. After the victim makes two guesses they are killed if neither answer is correct.
Each round is either 10 minutes long or until the killer is discovered or all the victims are dead. To catch the killer all of the contestants can communicate via private messages but remember: you only get two guesses. Official guesses are in this format: "I believe that the killer is...."
The killer kills people off by private messaging the score keeper of his/her choice. At the end of the round the decided victim is killed off and cannot guess or communicate with the remaining victims. The Score keeper will post after each round who is killed off and who has remaining guesses.
Lets take it slow, I'll be the Scorekeeper this round. After we get five people in here I'll PM one of them and that person will the killer.

If it weren't for the focus on IMing and the time limit, I'd say this was too similar to Mafia, but I'll let it go for now. Not sure how easy it'll be to get enough people on AIM at once, but good luck.
