Famous Quote Thread

Post by Winters Rage »

This thread is for famous quotes of (fairly) famous people, you can use quotes from movies, poems, ext. but make sure you post who said it!
The only rule (besides have fun) is that the forum games do not apply here :P
Later I might even post the site I found that has over 1000 famous quotes. :D

I'll start:
"I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters."
- Frank Lloyd Wright (1868-1959)

(Ps, you can use the internet, d'uh :P))
Winter - now know as Kinomora.
A remnant of a time long since past.

((Provided that this is limited to quotes by famous real people, and doesn't end up getting to similiar to Say Something Random, Josiah will allow it.))

((Yay, AK thanks Josiah, this is probably AK's first good idea for a thread :D))
AK likes this one:
"People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid."
- Soren Aabye Kierkegaard (1813-1855)
