Skirmish: The PV quiz show!

Post by Stevenson »

Hello, and welcome to the new game I've been dying to try out. If there are enough applicants, that is. Anyway, here's how it works:

Three contestants a round. Each round, I ask five questions. The person who answers the most wins...uh...anything I can do, really. You can't win, like, money. But I can, like, post in an RP that you really want me to. And then I have to do it. Or I can sprite stuff for you (crappily). Whatever. Most of the questions will be general knowledge stuff but there'll be some random PV/ROM related questions, too. Round two is worth two points a question, but the questions are harder.

So, as soon as I get enough people for the first round, I'll start.

Oh, and after Round two, prizes are given out and we start with (hopefully) new people. And I'll try to post my questions at a time that's fair for all participants.

I'm in
I was browsing Amazon the other day and I saw a robot uprising survival guide. Upon checking this guide I saw an audio CD version I smirked and laughed at the irony.

Just for the heck of it, me too.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Oookay. Since it's three a round, I'll pencil Kaida in for round two.

Round one:

Josiah: 3 point
Silver: 4 point
novatree: 0 points.

And, the first question: What's the title of the first Pebble Version strip?

Good! Okay, I'm posting the next question at 8:30 roughly, so as to not let somebody just be here for a few hours and get all the questions.

Alrighty..okay, here's the deal. My self-setting clock didn't feel like reporgramming itself to the new daylight savings times time. So I've been operating all day thinking I had one hour more than I did. A problem. So anyway, next question:

What's the capital of Florida?

I'm an enormous moron. On to the question. It's worth two points, remember.

What is a paradox?

A statement that contradicts itself... but somehow always seems true.
