Unless you're in states where the age limit is 21, then you're magically immature again.novatree wrote:happy birthday to me
the US now thinks I can... Die in a war, buy porn, buy cigarettes, buy dry ice, buy things off tv, buy spray paint, Vote, and be permanently tried as an adult from now on... something magically I wasn't mature enough to do yesterday...

That’s why the UK is an alcoholic’s paradise. 24 hour drinking laws, a drinking age of 18 (like that really stops teenagers…stupid cider) and a police force that doesn’t seem to care if you pass out outside a pub (a ‘pub’ is a drinking establishment, basically a ‘bar’ for all you non-UKers…also, a boot is a ‘trunk’ and a flat is an ‘apartment’ and a mobile is a ‘cell phone’. Call us all you want, but we invented English first * snickers * BTW, all of that was a joke, but it does irritate me no end when I hear ‘the English language’ referred to as ‘American language’. Isn’t French, German and Spanish widely spoken in the US too? )
BTW, I love american's no end. When I was over there, everyone was so nice, but I did find it odd how when they heared me speak they all smiled and got really happy...do america's really like the english or something? i never did get that

Happy birthday! If you want to "see" a cool trick, put a screwdriver against a chunk of dry ice! It's been a long time since I've seen that so I don't know if you need to do anything else, but it makes for a great surprise

No, I don't think French and German are spoken widely in America. Spanish is, but only by people who came here from spanish-speaking nations, "true americans" don't generally use it.
And Americans for some reason think british people are awesome. I don't know why. I guess it's how people love foreign things-it's foreign, but it's similar enough to still be comfortable.
Oh, and happy birthday.

It was lonely... you promised you'd write to me, but you never did... the months passed by, and I still thought of you every day, but you never called. I never got any letters from you.
So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*

Well, I live in Las Vegas so since everything is with selling alcohol and gambling , hell I haven't even really seen an R rated movie alone because there's like 2 movie theaters in the entire city that aren't inside a casino it's a pretty boring town to be 18 and not 21
and they hate "loitering teens" I've had friends kicked out right after seeing a movie because it was like past 9 ' o clock :/
If any of you plan a trip to vegas I recommend waiting till you're 21, most shows are 21+ ONLY (because of selling alcohol) the most randomish things too :/
Thanks everyone

I was browsing Amazon the other day and I saw a robot uprising survival guide. Upon checking this guide I saw an audio CD version I smirked and laughed at the irony.
