h! Before it's too late, all you 3DS owners need to go onto the e-shop and download Four Swords! It's FREE! But only until tomorrow, then it's gone. So get on it!
I've had that since I got my 3DS. it was free on DSi then on 3DS for a while. Good game.

How are you getting on with Starmie Josiah?

Also, I am replacing two of the pokemon on my completive team. I went through all the trouble of breeding and EV training and they aren't working out. I thinking a tentacrule for rapid spin and toxic spike with aqua wring and poison jab/ toxic, plus that will give me some poison stab against all the fairy types, and either a Yamask evolution or Nobat for item and ability disruption.

OMG! I just downloaded Pokemon Bank! It is OUT!

EDIT: IN The UK and Australia
Pokémon Bank, the 3DS software that allows online storage of Pokémon, plus transfer of pre-Gen IV Pokémon via Pokémon Transporter, has appeared on the 3DS eShop in Europe and Australia. The free trial will be available until March 14, 2014 to use for 30 days and after that Pokémon Bank will cost £4.99 per year in the UK, €4,49 per year in Europe and $6.50 per year in Australia.
The software was originally scheduled for launch around Christmas 2013, but after release in some parts of Asia extremely high traffic brought Nintendo's servers down and caused the software to be removed from the eShop in regions it had been released in, with the release postponed for all other regions.
On January 22, 2014, Pokémon Bank returned to the eShop in the Asian regions that had already seen a release. Today's release in PAL territories leaves North America as the only major region still awaiting the software.
Ouch guys sorry! I know how you feel though, it is usually the PAL releases of stuff that gets pushed back.

Oh well! I'm going to go play it!

Hi! Seeing as it's out over there, I'm thinking there's a decent chance it'll hit the US this week.

No progress on Starmie yet, only because I've been working on some other Pokémon instead. So far, I've got my Froakie, Eevee, and Sandshrew bred. And I'll have my Mew back once Bank hits the US. Currently working on a second Sandshrew (I decided to do a Sand Veil and a Sand Rush one). Torchic will probably be next. That'll leave me with Bulbasaur, Bagon, and Staryu to go, before I can finally move on to training them.

Moi,

So, in case you haven't heard, the Northeast US is currently getting covered in snow. I would normally be in Anime Club right now, but the school decided to cancel all after school activities today...for obvious reasons. Around here, by the end of the day, we're expecting around a foot of snow to have fallen/pelted our faces. Tomorrow, possibly even more than that.
Fortunately most people around here, at the first call for a blizzard, head out to the stores and stock up on whatever they might need for the next few days. We're very orderly like that.

Anyway, yeah...snow...Not much else to talk about really. Just getting a lot of snow right now. I'll probably have to go out and shovel...later. Right now, I'm regaining feeling in my face and drying off my shoes.

Stay radical (and warm) people!

In my town, we were supposed to get like 4-6 inches of snow. We got absolutely none. Well, that's a lie... it did snow for a little while, a nice little white coating, but then it changed to rain and was gone within the hour. And my little sister got a delayed opening from it, 'cause they called it the night before since we were predicted to get so much. Also the town 20 minutes north got almost four inches somehow. New Jersey weather is weird.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

congrats USA on Pokemon Bank. Also, I find it weird that the Super Bowl is being advertised in the UK....whatever.

Yeah so anyway, the UK is getting hit with freaky weather ATM too, Somerset is underwater and has been for weeks, 25 Mile per hour winds with hard rain. Not seen hard rain for a LONG time. it is not hail, but not rain....odd mixture of half frozen rain drops. The wind making it sideways rain, lovely being hit with little needles on your exposed skin...

Hi! Florida weather was pretty bad (for Florida) last week. This week though, started out warm and cloudy and has devolved into slightly cool and rainy.

So, after getting off work yesterday I proceeded to spend the rest of the day transferring Pokémon between my various games with Bank and Transporter. Took a while, thanks to the limitations of Transporter, but it's done! Got my Shiny Charm and everything. I still have a few holes in my collection though, with the exception of Shaymin (mine refused to transfer, despite being legit), they're just Pokémon I want extra copies of for one reason or another. I posted a trade list in the X/Y thread if anyone wants to take a look.

Moi,

Shoveling was a slight pain last night. The snow was just over a foot thick. Good workout, though. And, to be honest, a good bit of it was the light n' fluffy lake effect stuff. But, of course, the wind decided to pick up and, believe it or not, trying to toss light, unpacked snow into a snowbank when it's windy causes most of it to come flying right back at you. I got a face full of snow more times than I'd like to admit.

And, man, I feel a bit left out of most conversations due to my lack of any new games or systems...Not just here, but at school as well. Maybe I could finally put my holiday money to use instead of storing it away like a squirrel with nuts. (I do want to get a few new games, too. SSBB gets a bit repetitious after a while.)

Also, next Wednesday is a bit of a big day at my school. It is our (by that I mean the juniors and seniors) last day of our well-known unit: Square Dancing! Each year on the last day of this unit, we have a little competition where the group from each gym period that dances the best gets to stay after school for the big competition! The best group from each of the various periods go against each other to see which group is the best square dancing group!
Now, last year, I wasn't as excited as I am now for this (mainly because I think I look like a total doofus dancing), but now I don't really care what other people think. I'm just going to enjoy myself and dance my feet off. Also, this gives me an opportunity to get a bit dressed up. It's normal for people to dress up a bit for gym during this unit, but the last day is where people get real fancy with their outfits. Cowboy hats, plaid shirts, bolo ties, the works. Even I got an outfit together that I rather like and will be wearing then!
Heck, now that I think about it, I might just be excited for Wednesday because I get to show off my outfit...Ah well. That's a good enough reason for me. Any day I get to wear my Stetson is a good day.

Huh, I went on a bit of an excited rant there, didn't I? Whoops.

Anyway, stay radical people!

Hi! I saw The Lego Movie yesterday. It's a little corny, but anyone who liked to play with Legos as a kid (or still does, for that matter) will love it. Made me want to go out and buy a bunch of Legos, since all mine are currently in storage back in Colorado.

Thanks to GameFAQs, I got everything on my Pokémon training list, including a 6IV Ditto, which has really sped up my breeding. So now I've got: torchic, eevee, froakie, sandrew (sand veil), sand shrew (sand rush), and staryu. And mew, since I can't really breed it. I still need to breed a bulbasaur and gabite, and I'm thinking of doing a fletchling and honedge too for a bit more variety. Shouldn't take too much longer now though. Then on to EVs. Might even EV train that Ditto just for the heck of it, since it has Imposter.

Tomorrow though, I've got taxes to do. Yay... >-|

Cha!

Glad you were finally able to get a 6iv ditto! I wish my little fella had "Imposter". It has everything going for it except that. O well, it is the proud parent of my Greniniga, Blazikin, Kangaskan and Whimsicott. I've decided my rotom and Altaira where not working out in practice so now I'm breeding a tentacool with rapid spin, aqua ring toxic spikes and knock off. Its not is standard move set as I'm using it to get rig of items and spikes so I'm going to pump its speed and defence. I'm hoping that its unusual move set will throw off the opposition, and I'm breeding up a Yamask next as an annoyer to get rid of ability's. Was thinking of a Novbat with frisk and thief though as well to get rid of items.

Anyone else catch the Russian opening ceremony last Friday? I though it was really cool. Not caught much of the games itself though,

Aloha! Not much to report, other than that I've begun work on designing a game. A card game, specifically. We're starting the very rough playtesting in the next few days.

Hi! I've only got one EV left to train my team in than I can move onto leveling them up. All in all, I've got 11 Pokémon, so I'll have some variety in terms of team configurations. Picked up a shiny scraggy in the process as well...and missed a shiny whismur.

As for the Olympics, I missed the ceremony but have been watching bits of the events here and there.

Other than that... Looking forward to this coming week, though it'll be busy. I've got a Civil War reenactment to check out, two concerts to attend, KotF, and work (though Monday is a holiday). Oh, and a party tomorrow night. Fun stuff, mostly.

Hey there!

I'm off from school next week. Aw yeah, break! So, I'll be doing nothing for a bit. Probably sleeping and shoveling.

As for the winter Olympics, I've been catching bits of it here and there. Mainly hockey.

Also, I'll be leaving in a few hours to go to a play and then a fancy dinner with my Girl Scout troop. It's our last year we'll be in Girl Scouts (we're ambassadors now), unless any of us are thinking of becoming leaders in the future (HA), so we decided to treat ourselves. Should be fun. If not, it'll at least be an excuse for my parents to drag me out of the house.

Oh, and I just realized I never updated on that whole square dancing thing. Well, I very much enjoyed the dancing, though once I got home, I just about collapsed and took a nice, long nap. My group didn't get into the finals, but we get 2nd place in our class, so that's something. Alas, none of the people in my group, including myself, could stay after to see the big final showdown (of should I say hoedown?). Everyone had somewhere to be, and I had Anime club. Oh well, at least I enjoyed dressing up a bit.

That's all I got for now. Stay radical people!

So eventually, I started to lose faith... I thought you had been killed in that terrible, terrible war. Or maybe that you had forgotten about me. It's been so long, you probably found another girl over there... I never stopped loving you, but I didn't think you cared about me anymore, so welcoming you back just would have been too painful for me... I'm sorry. I'm glad you've come back home *sniff*
