I couldn't remember if it was Cheryl or Gladys! I'll go and edit the previous post accordingly.Stevenson wrote:I thought we decided your ex's name was Cheryl, Saber.

Gladys is Cheryl's current girlfriend.
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:
Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.
Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:
Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Hey.
Right, I just couldn't remember which name went to which! And they're still not official because Cheryl doesn't like commitment.
Also, to those of you who are my facebook friend, you should go like my status before midnight tonight. I hate to be that guy, but I'm competing in crazy Trumpet Survivor shenanigans, and every like helps!
To those of you who aren't my facebook friend... We should be friends! FRIENDS!
Edit: I didn't finish one of my sentences... my bad.

Hi! Karaoke is fun, though karaoke with 20 some people (mostly college students) and a Chinese karaoke machine with a lousy interface and odd song selection gets kind of crazy.

Hey.
The tragedy in Boston. I have no words. I come from a town just outside Boston. Today was absolutely terrifying as I texted and messaged everyone to see if they were okay. So far, it would appear that everyone is fine.
And, to top things off, the Wesboro Baptist Church has to show up AS USUAL and make an already horrific thing even worse.
So yeah. Thoughts and prayers with the people of Boston.

Hi! I hope none of you guys had any friends or family affected by the bombing. Not much else to say on that, other than I hope they figure out who did it.
On a much less somber topic, I'm going to see Weird Al tonight. Should be fun, though I hope he's changed up his set list a bit since the last time I saw him.

Yeah. Boston is ridiculous. I can't imagine what it'd be like for it to strike so close to home. I can't imagine what it's like with what's been happening in the last 24 hours in MIT. I can't believe I know people with the audacity to joke about it and even claim conspiracy.

*Sigh* 'Lo, peeps... Today is 4/20, which means that downtown Ottawa is going to be filled with thousands of people attempting to get marijuana legalized.
Right now I need all of my mental faculties intact to study for exams, so needless to say I'm going to be giving Parliament Hill a wide berth until the pot-smoking masses have dispersed.

Hey, lots to catch up on I see.
First, the tragedy in Boston: Words cannot begin to describe how much pain those people must be in, and to have this happen, just I don't even know what to say! My thoughts and prayers go out to the people affected by this tragedy
( I am so thankful no family lives near Boston.)
Next, The 4/20 protests, I don't really care about stuff like that. Smoke things like marijuana and cigarettes literally make me go nauseous after walking by someone smoking them, so I will never do them, but to the people who do, I say go right ahead, it's not my life, so I can't tell people what they can and cannot do with small stuff like this, but it is up to the government, so I'll let them decide what to do.
Lastly, on a more personal level: I am having a pretty good day, nothing too big has happened, just made a music remix that found its way to my favourite musician: Yelling At Cats, and he liked it! You know, nothing too big, also I just found I have to mix music for my UN club's music video (Oh joy, I have to find the vice-secertary general to get the music, which I don't even what genre it is, and I just got told today, when the last meeting (which I missed due to cold) was on Wednesday. I'll do it, and I'm honored, but maybe a little more heads-up might be nice!
Anyways, I've said my piece, so I'll be off now!
See you guys later!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Less than two week to go until summer break! Classes go through Wednesday. After that it's a combination of grading and "grading is over why do I still have to come in to work" days? Though there's also a high school presentation, graduation ceremony, and some prep work for my online summer classes thrown in there.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
This made me chuckle for all the wrong reasons. Gotta love that passive marijuana smoke high LOL. Don't even get me started on the smell*Sigh* 'Lo, peeps... Anyway, my Mum was in hospital over the weekend, and needs to go back in at the end of the week for an operation, so I've been worried about her for a few days now. I've been comfort eating, so I'm dreading slimming world LOL

Moi,
Hope your mom will be okay, Shauni. Best of luck to you two.
So, I got to leave school a bit early today for a doctor's appointment. Nothing big or anything. Just the regular checkup.
During the visit, I got to talk to my doctor about me being trans and all. He was really supportive. We talked for quite a while about various issues and even some local support groups. I feel a lot more relaxed about the whole thing now. Other then that, not much else happened.
...Well, I did have to get some shots, so that kind of sucked. When I was little, I use to be terrified of shots. Now, just the idea is bad, but I get past the pain pretty quickly. I mean, think of it, it's a piece of metal puncturing your skin. Yes, in the end, it does help you stay healthy, but in any other situation, that would probably not be all that good.
Anyway, sad face because of the shots, but, hey, at least I got out of gym for today. In the end, all is good.
Stay radical, people! Peace off!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
My emotions (MY EMOTIONS) have been super fierce lately. As in, when I get upset, I actually start to feel physical feelings of heart racing and kind of like I'm choking. Which is super dandy! Except not at all!
I also made one last peace offering to Cheryl and she has not just refused it, but instead completely ignored it! Yaaaaay! That didn't make me feel like total crap, no, not at all!
Ugh. I hate things.
