I'd not mind if they had kept it the same, I hate the new layout of hotmail now. Its harder to use, and my hotmail account had worked with the layout it had for 6 years. It didn't really need changing.
I don't have an issue with Microsoft and Google buying out stuff, but it bugs me when they change things that work.

Hey.
It is currently 5:47 AM. I have not gone to bed at all today. I plan on staying up 'til 7:00, pre-enrolling for classes, and then taking a two hour nap before my classes start. Or maybe I just won't sleep at all.
This week. Is. Awful. All of the tests and problem sets and lab reports AGHHHH

Hi! Just got done reading some news stories about North Korea. While I have doubts that they're stupid enough to launch an actual attack, their leader is pretty crazy so I suppose you never know. Not to be a warmonger, but I kinda wish someone (like South Korea, the US, the UN, or even China) would just go in and take out the entire North Korean government. I mean, you'd get rid of some crazy guys with nukes and free a bunch of very oppressed people. The pretty much a win - win for the entire rest of the world. And hey, it's a small and very impoverished country with a lot of citizens who probably would really appreciate a change of leadership if given the option. I can't imagine it would be a very long or difficult battle...
That aside, I've got another busy day ahead but if I can finish the one big project I'm working on today (and I intend to, since it's due tomorrow evening and I'd rather not get backed up against the deadline), that'll go a ways towards calming things down.

That's what we said the first time. The first time was the Korean War. I don't think the US is going in there again any time soon.Josiah wrote: I can't imagine it would be a very long or difficult battle...
China... China wouldn't surprise me.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! You may have a point. Then again, on-going terrorist attacks aside, we did take over Iraq in what, a week? You would think North Korea would be easier than that. That said, short of North Korea actually hitting the US with a missile, I can't imagine Obama declaring war on them. Heck, even they did that I'm not too sure he would...
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
So, Margaret Thatcher died this week. I've not mentioned it before now as I personally don't care but its really riled up the British public. She is either loved by Conservatives and the South or hated by Labor and the North. I don't like the woman, never did as I'm from a mining family. What is causing the arguments and protests is her funeral. They want to give her a full state funeral with military honors, at a cost of £10 million pounds, when half the country went out celebrating she was dead.
Now I'm of the mind that she was a frail old lady that just died, and her family should be allowed to morn her, I don't like all these celebrations over her death, its in bad taste, but I don't think she deserved a state funded funeral. Its only because the conservatives are in power she is getting one at all...Its just in bad taste when she was so hated by half the country

Hi! What you have to ask, Shauni, is not how much of the country liked her but if such a funeral is normally given to political figures of her standing. If it is, then it's only fair that she get one too. If this is a special thing that normally doesn't happen, maybe not.
Ugh, it's not quite one o'clock and I'm already really burned out. Not a great start to my day. Nothing horrible has happened though. It's just a combination of working late yesterday (though I did finish my project), staying up even later playing Bioshock to unwind, and a series of meetings and other boring and/or frustrating stuff at work.

The answer to that is easy, no, no they usually do not.Hi! Monarchs do, as they are heads of state, but PMs do not, unless they are AMAZING.
The last one to get a funeral like what they are planning for her was Churchill, and she was NO Churchill.

Moi,
Saber, I completely understand you. Every night this week I have gotten 3 or less hours of sleep a night and I think I took a 2 hours nap on Tuesday, and a 1 hour nap on Monday. I'm defiantly going to be power-snoozing this weekend.
Yeah, who needs sleep when you've got coffee and prescribed ADD meds?...*slumps onto desk* Apparently, I do.
So, it's been raining quite a lot around these past few days around here. For most people, it might not seem all that bad, but around my area, because of all of the sand and clay in the soil, puddles quickly start forming. Like, really big puddles. Especially in backyards.
It seems that nature is a bit against upstate NY. Blizzards, ice storms, and a foot or two of snow per week in the winter, only to have the snow melt away in the spring, and then throwing a few dozen thunderstorms in with it. Mother nature is water-boarding us, it seems.
Anyway, I'm going to take a nap. Stay radical, people! Peace off!

Hi! Looks like I've got some sort of stomach bug. On the bright side, I was still able to go to Epcot today to see Paul Revere and the Raiders play. Apparently, this bug isn't much of an issue so long as I don't each much. Hopefully it won't last long, or get worse...

'Lo, peeps. Soooo last night I was at the Billy Talent concert at Scotiabank Place. Almost lost my glasses in the mosh pit, and I got kneed in the face by a guy trying to crowd surf. In other words, it was bloody awesome.

Hey.
In today's episode of The Life of Saber Knight, Saber attends a rooms party at Chateau (aka the Tuba House)! Guest starring her ex girlfriend's parents! Here's an excerpt from the screenplay...
---
[Saber enters her friend Stove's room holding two drinks, one of which is filled up way too high. In the room are several bandmates, among them Stove himself who is pouring delicious shots of amaretto and irish cream, Cupcake, and Cheryl. However, two figures stand out amongst the otherwise college-aged crowd: Mr. and Mrs. Cheryl's parents.]
Cupcake (noticing Saber): HIIII! [Saber and Cupcake hug, however, Saber accidentally spills a little bit of her too-full drink on Cupcake's hair. She doesn't notice.]
Saber: Hi, hun! How are you?
Cupcake: Great! How about you?
Saber: Super! [They make idle chit chat for a while with Cheryl clearly pretending Saber doesn't exist, until...]
Cheryl (standing right behind Cupcake): Cupcake, sweetie, why is your hair wet?
Cupcake: Huh? It's wet?
Saber: Sorry, I think I might have spilled a bit of my drink on her. Schwegger filled it way too high.
Mr. Cheryl's Dad: You know how to fix that?
Saber: Drink the alcohol?
Mr. Cheryl's Dad: Drink the alcohol! [The two continue to laugh and interact for a bit until Saber decides that Cheryl probably doesn't want her there, so she takes a shot and leaves the room.]
---
THIS IS THE STUFF THAT HAPPENS IN MY LIFE, GUYS. I get in situations where my ex girlfriend's dad is at a band party and tells me to drink. A lot of me wanted to be like "HI I'm your daughter's ex, nice to meet you!" but even drunk me knew that was an inappropriate thing to do.
IN LESS ALCOHOL RELATED NEWS I went to a Streetlight Manifesto concert Friday night and it was AWESOME!

I thought we decided your ex's name was Cheryl, Saber.
