Hi! Try some games in 3D, Silver. You may be surprised. I played Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 entirely in 3D mode and while I haven't started on Kid Icarus yet, I played demos of it in 3D and that worked out just fine. Sure it's not a "game changer" but it's a pretty neat effect, espeically in the games that make good use of it (like most of the ones made by Nintendo). Speaking of the 3DS, Theaterythem Final Fantasy is out today! Looking forward to spending some time with that, though it may have to wait a day or two.

Hello!

Theaterythem Final Fantasy is out on Friday in the EU, but you can download a demo of it now from the eShop for free. It looks like it is going to be a good game. The standard setting is manageable but medium is REALLY hard. The hardest setting is for people who have freakish hand eye coordination.

It's a nice game, but I can't get it tommorw because I'm at London Film and Comic convention. It's my first convention and I'm looking forward to it!

Hi! I started playing Theatrhythm (I'm never going to remember that spelling) last night. Not exactly loving the weird uber cute characters, but I'm enjoying it otherwise. As a bit of a rhythm game expert (I've pretty much mastered the Ouendon/EBA and Project Diva series and am very good at DDR and Guitar Hero), I'd say the normal difficuly (which it forces you on to start) is a bit on the easy side. Makes sense, but I'm looking forward to the harder stuff.

I have a lot of difficulty writing about myself which is a bit part of the reason I've been so inactive. I'm talking to a girl I'm getting friendly with (if you know what I mean... looking at you Marley). We haven't talked in a month and she was asking what I've been up to so I decided I may as well try and get back into my favourite message board while I'm at it.

I just got out of grade 10 taking all AP core classes, my freshman year (because Canada) was pretty great and I met a lot of people. Having advanced placement classes really allows me to meet more people with similar interests instead of being grouped with a bunch of other kids. I'm trying really hard not to sound pretentious when I say that. Computer Science and Pre-Engineering were also a blast. The high school has a really nice engineering room. I've been exploring much further into music and theory and I can play guitar, piano, and drums right now very well. There's a guitar club at school so I bring in mine every week and I have gotten more attention from women for carrying a guitar at the beginning and end of the day than anything else, which seems pretty silly to me. I mean, anyone can play guitar. More in music, I've been collecting LPs some more(here's a picture from a few months ago of one haul), and I went to a great festival that takes place in Calgary called Sled Island where I saw some of my favourite artists such as The Hold Steady, Feist, Shabazz Palaces, and Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth). I also have http://www.last.fm/user/cheezdude that tracks all my music.

I've been fascinated by coding as well recently. I really dig the whole idea and I've learnt javascript and html now in addition to C++ which I learned in my Computer Science class. I haven't been gaming nearly as much as I used to which I do regret a bit but I have been very busy. Recently I've been playing the usual TF2 and Quake Live as well as Tribes: Ascends. I played through OoT3D on my brother's 3DS a month or so ago which was awesome and on the Wii I'm in the middle of Monster Hunter Tri. Pretty fun. That's just about all I have to say right now. I miss you guys.

Oh man Cheesey's one o' dem supa geeenius kids too! Jes' like all teh rest erya, he be so brainy he takes all a dose 'Ancy Pantsy classes an' all compooters n' stuff, and he even smooth wit' the lehdees playing all gee-tar, why, ol' Silver couldn't never play no fancy gee-tar and it's really difficult to type in whatever dialect I was typing in. I knew where I was going at the start, but it quickly spiraled out of control and I'm... I'm very sorry I put you all through that.

But I think what I was going for was that man, you and Saber, you guys make me look pretty dumb. ALL your core classes were AP? In my high school, they didn't even let you do that (unless your name was Ted Ray, of course, in which case you could not only take any AP classes you wanted, but you'd also break school records in three sports and get inducted into every special honors concert band in the state, not to mention being a DDR god... I'm convinced he wasn't human, but that's besides the point). I just took my little English class... but in my defense, Beaudoin's AP English class was insane! I didn't realize it at the time, but having now taken several high-level College Literature classes? That was the most difficult class I've ever taken. And I don't anticipate taking any harder ones.

Well, good for you, Cheesey. I'm glad you're doing well! As for the guitar statement... oh yes, anyone can play guitar. But can anyone play it well? Because I have not met a lot of people that are actually good on a guitar, just a lot of people who know about three chords and think they'll be able to play whatever they want like that.

And you still play TF2, huh? I picked it up a while ago on Steam (right before it went free...) but haven't played it too much. If you don't mind dealing with an inexperienced idiot who is determined to play an Engineer as if he were a Scout (hitting things with wrenches ALWAYS works well! Why doesn't it work well on people with guns!), perhaps we can play together.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I agree with Silver, that is pretty impressive, Cheez. Seems like you had quite the busy school year.

In other news, my books all got through Amazon's approval process and are up for download, but I'll wait and give you all the links and stuff on Monday. I got my promotion set up properly so that the first book in the series will be free from Monday - Friday so I'm going to try and get everyone I know (and everyone they know) to download it then, with the goal of making if on the top 100 free books list to get some much needed publicity. While my expectations aren't too high, if the books do fairly well I can release more of my novels and have some extra money to put into Aurora's Nightmare for things like better art and music. In a best case scencario, I could even get an actual publishing contract and do writing and game design full time. That's unlikely, but I can dream.

Hello!
Every time I post here it can all be summed up as 'Hey, I tried to be alive and here's a silly excuse.'
I pretty much died on every forum I was a part of when school got rather heavy with the work load and I guess that's one thing, but school let out almost a month a... go. Oh. That was almost a month ago? ...huh.
I guess I could have tried again to come back (but then it would have been the same as the second sentence of this post) but I guess I've been too focused on other things like still tying to get my comic to launch...
I give credit to all webcomic owners out there because managing it and organizing it is really a lot harder than I thought it to be.

I also got a few new games over time so there were less productive distractions to trying to be on any forum again, haha... ha.
Just started playing Pokemon Conquest and Tactic Game + Pokemon= All of my greatest dreams ever have come true. (Thank you Colly.)

Hi! Gee, floods, alligator attacks, druggies acting like cannables, threats of race wars... Every news story I see about Florida makes me wish I didn't have to go back there in a month...

Moi,

That is also why I'm glad I live in the north-east. We're just out of the way of that heat wave up here, and it's been a pretty good summer so far. Not too rainy, but not that dry. I can't say I have heard that much about the druggies up here, but I'm not one to really follow that kind of news. I follow happy news...like...umm...the nice weather up here! Yeah! How 'bout that weather?...

Anyway...not much else going on. I'm planning to talk to my god-brothers about my PS3/Xbox thing. I'm also planning to talk to them about how I can help my computer run faster and such. Who knows? I might just be able to get them to build a new computer for me, since both of them have experience with that kind of stuff (Heck, my older god-brother went to collage to learn about computers).

Stay radical people! Peace off!

You lucky duck. Got out of that heat wave. Wells, I think this around my fifth time I died on here. Also, I have now acquired an addiction to tumblr, that stuff is hysterical. I have yet to create a blog, but I have an account. And oddly enough for some weird reason my mouth currently tastes of pool water, curious. Anyways, Im going to get tickets for the LOZ orchestra in philly, hopefully in doing so, I can fix a few problems that ever presently plague my mind, granted if I can get my friend to go with me. Well, bye now. Also about the druggies thing, to my knowledge two of my neighbors are addicts, brothers, and got pissed one night and had a gun battle in the street. Kinda odd to me. Never remember that happening, guess I was away.

I take back everything I said about the east coast being great and I'm considering moving to Colorado. Weather this year's been horrible. For the past two weeks, hot and humid, high of 105 F practically every day, thunderstorms almost every night. I love thunderstorms! This should be great, right? NOPE. Lots of rain, lots of electrical discharges, lots of damaged wires. My Internet asploded. Well, it didn't completely asplode... it's just slow as death. DEATH I tell you! Took me nearly two minutes to load this page. All the rain damaged some wires, it's pretty much like this in my whole neighborhood. Colly's Internet DID completely asplode, meaning she's coming over to my house to use my already very stressed out Internets which only makes it MORE stressed out.

Colorodo, yeah... that sounds great...

Hi! Yep, Colorado is pretty great. There was that big wild fire, but it's under control now and didn't get too close to any larger towns or cities. I'm rather looking forward to a last few weeks of no humidity before having to deal with August and September in Florida.

Moi,

So, I'll be alone at home for at least four more hours until my god-mother picks me up to go shopping for my late birthday present. As I sit here, I am realizing how creepy being alone at home can be.

In fact, the phone just rung. Now that wouldn't seem very strange until I tell you that the ring it made is only played when another phone inside the house calls it...Another phone inside the house.

Although, it could have just been somebody who called and then hung up very quickly...at least I am hoping so.

So, after my god-mother and I go search for my late birthday present, We'll probably be picking up my god-brother from the airport as well. It might give us some time to talk about my computer or my thoughts on getting a new gaming system.

Anyway, not much else to say. Stay radical people! Peace off!

Hello!
I've been sleeping past noon lately and that's probably a bad thing. Maybe that's because I'm staying up until the wee hours of the morning. I've made three attempts this summer thus far to fix my sleep schedule and after failing all times I've given up on that.
But I think if this goes on any longer I'll end up nocturnal.
Even though I'm fully aware that this is a problem I chose to hang around the internet and continue to draw pictures that take forever to finish. I'm really good at being counter-productive while being productive at the same time, huh.
I'm mainly trying to get back on track because I realized that I actually have somewhere to be this summer. That I need to be awake for during the day. *slams head on desk* And it's something that requires a lot of effort, exercise and practice. I'm going to be... in my school's Marching Band as a Pit member. While that's not exactly marching on the field, there is, of course, marching in parades and getting all your parts in the show down pat. Band camp is starting soon and to make things all horrible the temperature has been scolding hot and the weather is extremely unstable. I wish I could do what I always do with freetime and that mostly involves not being outside. Especially during the summer.

Oh. I guess this post is long enough now. My bad.
