I had to take car of some registration stuff for my new car yesterday and otherwise I've just been working on lectures for my classes and stuff for Car Washer. I'm hoping to finish Assassin's Creed II and start on the next part of Umineko later in the week, but that's about it.

Hi! I'm anti-piracy and anti-SOPA, and wrote a bit more in the SOPA thread if you're curious.

So the college where I'm teaching likes to do two 75 minute classes each week for three credit courses instead of the more common three 50 minute classes. On the one hand, it means I don't have to come in to work on Fridays, which is cool. On the other hand, I seem to have a lot more trouble trying to come up with 75 minutes of material for a single class. I don't want to cover too many different things so students don't get lost, but if I keep the number of items down, it can be hard to fill up the time...

And woohoo! My GPA went up by .2 thanks to my straight A's this semester! Now time to tackle those SAT's, which won't be very fun but it will be worth it. Meh, I'm just happy that my grades skyrocketed! Take that, freshman year.

Hi. So... back in November, I got some awesome news.

My big bro propsed to his girlfriend, they are now engaged and getting married in June. So far, my future sister in law has picked out her dress, and they decided to have a strawberry wedding cake.

Unfortunately, the joy of the news has worn off, and the panic is starting to set in. Which means mom is going to need to find help on being the mother of the groom, we have to help with the groom's cake, and a whole lot of other stuff to prepare.

I am not however, part of the bridesmaids, nor am I playing a role in the ceremony. I'm actually happy about that to be honest.

Hi! Macross Frontier hasn't been liscensed (not sure why exactly), so I'd be happy to help you out with that. The best place to find fan-subs of unliscensed (and only unliscensed) anime is Animesuki. If you go up to Anime at the top and chooser Series you'll get a nice alphabetical list of unliscensed anime with relavant torrent links. Speaking of which, I never did see the second Macross Frontier movie...

Well, earlier today, I was studying for my mid-terms...and then I cleaned up my room a bit and found my old sling-shot I got from the New York State Fair and my old Bop-It. Needless to say, not much studying was done.

I also went on Steam today and thought it would be a great idea to get the demo version of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Right after I got it, I started a new game, got about two minutes into gameplay, freaked out at every little noise heard (I was using headphones as well, smart me), stopped playing, and watched a video of a guy freaking out while playing Amnesia instead.

All in all, a pretty normal day for me.

Hi! Personally, I prefer torrents to download sites. I generally get better speeds and they can easily be paused and resumed later on. And, when it comes to legitimate file sharing, there are better ways to do it, like Dropbox.

So, I very rarely get nosebleeds, but somehow I got two today... one in the middle of class (and I didn't get blood on ANYTHING! I was so proud of myself) and one just a few minutes ago (again, NO BLOOD ANYWHERE SCOOOORE!) and now the mild headache I had earlier hurts a lot, probs from the blood loss. BRILLIANT!

Midterms/finals are this week... part one of the AP chem one was today, not looking forward to part two...

Oh, and the Pats are in the Super Bowl! That's pretty cool. Except now I can't comfortably watch the game because there's one team I clearly want to win... poop.

Nothing too exciting going on here at the moment. I'm planning to spend most of my free time today and tomorrow watching anime while working on web sites (the site for my indie studio and updates for the Car Washer one). The only potential problem I see is setting up an online store. I've done simple ones before, but for physical items, not the kind where the user gets access to a download, and I'm not entirely sure how that works.

Arggg...I just got home from my first day of midterms. My crackers, three midterms on one day. My brain feels dead. I took my Geometry and German midterms today, as well as my Health final. Nothing too tough, I'm pretty sure I did well on all of them, but after all of that...all I see in my brain is scantron bubbles. So many little...bubble things...and I can't even pop them.

So, tomorrow is my Global History midterm, and the day after that is my Biology midterm. I'm not too worried about Biology, seeing as how I've always done pretty well in science. And for Global History...no real pressure at all. "Why?", you may ask. Well, all we have to do for the midterm is watch a movie (I think it's called The Rabbit-Proof Fence), take notes, and then, at home, answer some questions relating to what theme we got (mine happens to be diversity). I think the hardest part about it will be whether or not I'll be able to stay awake for the entire movie...

So...I'm going to relax my brain with some interblag time, then, maybe, take a well-deserved nap.
