Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I got my Wii working again! I was checking Nintendo's site and found instructions for resetting the power adapter. I didn't even know those things could be reset but I gave it a try and the Wii started turning on again. The video still didn't work but I decided to try a new cord before resorting to sending the system away for repairs. And it worked! Not sure why my old cord suddenly stopped working between Arizona and Florida, but I'm glad I didn't have to send the whole system away.

Hey.
Wow, my little rant about old dudes actually made sense? Awesome! Also, Grass, that would be a fanfic since it's got Pokemon in it. Pokemon aren't of your own creation.
Sooooo Little Leauge World Series! My town made it to the semi-finals for our region, which is awesome! If they win their game today, they move on even further, which would be real exciting. My sis actually knows a few people on the team, which is pretty cool, since they're on TV and all. Mmmmm, TV.

Moi,
Heh, yep, Saber's correct Grass. I mean, I felt quite awkward when I first came here. Now, I realize it's fine to act like my weird and random self! To be honest, I still feel relatively new compared to most of the members (or as Saber puts it, "Dudes") here. Eventually, everyone just gets used to everyone else’s randomness and we become something like a big, happy, random, family.
Anyway...I've been talking a bit odd today. I think my speech made an awesome jump into the 90's. My lingo's been totally zany and off the wall. It's like...Dang! (Not that it's a total bummer or anything. I think it's quite radical.)
[In all honesty, yes, I've been talking like this all day. In the "hip" 90's lingo. I have no idea why, but...I kind of like it! It's quite out of the ordinary...just how I like it! {Also, I just like saying 'dang'. When I was little, I used to say it all the time...ahh...memories...}]

Hey,
Ok, let's see....*checks recent posts*. Ok, thanks Saber I thought it went into Fanfics, but I wasn't sure, check it out because its ongoing and you guys can really help, beause what I'll be posting is the rough copies of the chapters, so it will be a big help if you critique it, but I will not change something if it changes the major events to the extent that it does not follow the storyline, but anyways, any crtiquing will be much obliged.

Hi! Yeah, fanfics is correct. I meant to say that in my last post but apparently I forgot...
Anyway, nothing special going on today. I'm just hanging out and getting some things done around the apartment.

Moi!
Well, I recieved notice of this only recently (This morning to be...approximate...), but tomorrow, I'll be going to my cousin's house (in Massachusetts) and staying for about a week. I'll be leaving pretty early in the morning (for me) and it'll be about a four hour drive to their house. I should get to their house around noon. (My reason for posting this is in case I don't get on here that often during the course of the week.)
I haven't seen my cousins in a while, so it might be a bit awkward seeing them again...though my mom tells me that from what see has heard from my uncle, me and my oldest cousin there (who's only a few months older then me) is pretty similar to myself...right down to out favorite sodas and animes...It's a bit creepy...
Anyway, I'm just getting ready so I can get to sleep early(ish) tonight and not have to sleep in the car...for too long.

Ello everybody!
Finished updating my Japan Travelogue, by copying and pasting from another forum! lol, that being said I should probably resume finishing my AP summer project before next Monday. It's going to be a pretty busy week up ahead for me, so I'm just crossing my fingers and hope this next school year will be a great one.
Peace out!

Greetings All!
So one week and I'll be married.
All this talk about meeting people from the forum in real life and old dude's made me realise how long I've been here. . .
It would also be totally awesome to meet everyone from the forum. Although it might be awhile, if anyone decides to visit Aus let me know. . . maybe I should change my signature though. . .
Anyways Wedding and Stuff! I've been sewing a lot for some of my decorations, and my dress should be finished on tuseday. ^_^ Yay

Hi! Good luck with the wedding preperations, Kaida! I hope everything goes well. Australia is pretty high on my list of other countries I want to visit so I'll hopefully be able to visit you there sooner or later.
Well, this is my last day before work starts, though this week is just some faculty meetings and last minute course planning. I'll hopefully get my copies of the textbooks for the courses I'll be teaching tomorrow but that doesn't leave me with a lot of time since it seems I'll have to rebuild them from the ground up. Not sure why. Since these are all pre-existing courses, I thought I'd get the previous professors' material to use as a base but that doesn't seem to be happening. At least I'll have good textbooks to work with...for all except one class in which the books are going to be pretty usefulless so I'll have to do everything myself.

Hey.
So, yeah, surprise birthday party in NH, then a grad party later today... lots of fun! I had a blast :D
Time to go back to summer homework! And to pack!
HECK YEAH MASSACHUSETTS! It was tax-free weekend this... weekend....... HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! Except I was in New Hampshire all weekend where it's ALWAYS tax free... but I digress. Anywho, would you happen to be staying north of Boston? 'Cos that'd be pretty cool, 'cos that's where I live, ish! Except, tomorrow morning, I'm leaving for New York to go tour colleges! Yay!PoisonWing14 wrote:Well, I recieved notice of this only recently (This morning to be...approximate...), but tomorrow, I'll be going to my cousin's house (in Massachusetts) and staying for about a week.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I'm in the aforementioned faculty meetings at work. Pretty dull, without much info that actually applies to me. This is a state funded college, BTW, which apparently brings with it a ridiculous amount of government regulations and red tape.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
It's only a week now Kaida? Wow, that sounds so exciting!
Ugh, work has been eating up so much time. And when it's not work it's preparing for college. Not that I should really complain, cause I've got a good job and it's full time. For the summer at least. I have no time to work during the school year :P But I realized when I was packing today that, despite there being about a week left before I go, I only needed to leave out two regular outfits, cause the rest of the days I'll be wearing my work uniform :P
Sooo you're lookin' at colleges Saber? It's pretty fun sometimes. I didn't realize how much different some colleges were compared to others until I went to look at them. When me and my bro went to TCNJ the guide was a little boring so we ended up just walking around on our own. Classes were in session too, so when we went looking through all the hallways and classrooms people were just like "where the hell did these people come from?"
Speaking of school year it's coming up, I leave pretty soon.
Ah, I hate meetings. Especially if there's quite a few spanned through a week. But I guess they're a necessary evil.

Hi! I got the material I need to plan out two of the three courses I'm teaching (well, I'm teaching six but there's three different ones, or may 3 1/2 if you count an online version as being significantly different than an on campus version). Anyway, that means its time to get some serious work donee. This week and next week are probably going to be pretty crazy...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
On hotel wifi! My brain is kind of dead from touring four colleges four days straight (not to mention a 5th college a few days before that). We were only supposed to hit up 3, but my parents apparently didn't coordinate well and we suddenly showed up at UPenn and I was like "Oh, I guess we can tour here, too!" Just finished Cornell today, though we're going back tomorrow for an engineering tour since they only have those on Fridays and we've got no more colleges to tour... just gotta get home. And finish summer homework. God, In the Lake of the Woods is an awful book.
Anywho, we first toured Columbia (I thought I might give being a city kid a shot, but I don't think it'll work. NYC is too big... though $5 Broadway shows is certainly tempting), then moved on to UPenn (Philadelphia is much more managable, and UPenn has a larger, prettier, greener campus. Also, the academics seemed to work better for me... they also have a really cool language program (yes, I know I want to be an engineering major)). After that, we hit up Lehigh (non-Ivy, so better shots of getting in plus possible merit scholarship! Bigger, even prettier, even greener campus! Good acadmeic options, co-op options, and a possible marching band scholarship, which is freaking awesome!) and then Cornell (largest campus (though I liked Lehigh's better) with pretty good academic options (can't double major across schools :( ) and a good engineering study abroad program (:D :D :D)). So, that's my little rant about schools.... I'm wicked tired right now and should probs go to sleep, but I need to work on summer homework... ugh >.<
Y'know, I should start finding some safety schools... yeeeeeahhh, I think I'll just apply to UMass Amherst and be done with it. Sounds good.

Hey,
Ah, School, a place of learning, a place of friends...
Anyway, enough sap, now for me school will not exactly be a bed of roses, that's the reason the fanfic is up quickly. I want to get as much of it done before school. I am going into grade 10, and first semester, not fun....AT ALL! I have the civics/ career studies thing which is easy, but then I have (mind you these are all academic.) Science, English and History for my courses for first semester. So, yeah, not fun, but hopefully I get good teachers and I'm going to push for the stars, hopefully getting good marks, so yeah. See ya!
