Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hiya! Sorry that your trip came up short, Josiah, but hopefully they'll have the problem fixed by next year.
The weather just keeps getting better. I took some time and ran around the neighborhood some and hung out with friends after track practice. Though, the only problem is, I'm allergic to a lot of things during the spring weather, which isn't very fun nor pleasant. I'll be fine for now, though, life is good!
Peace out!

Hi! It's the last day of KOTF so this is your last chance to make some posts and enter the final challenge. It's gonna be close so good luck!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi!
Ah. It's ending today. Well, I sure had fun during the time I participated. I'm sure most everyone else did too... aside from the hwole... y'know... "counting the posts" thing. ;-; ...other than that, ALL WAS WELL.
As for anything happening today...? Hm.... We started writing a persuasive essay about bullying and whatnot. I should be finishing it now, but whatever. We were supposed write about 3 types of bullying that we know best, or can relate to. I chose; Emotional, Cyber, and Silent bullying, because as a teenager, there aren't many cases of physical bullying or violence. There hasn't been many fights in the 7th grade halls, but it happens often to the 6th graders. Hm. Maybe it's because of the new guys breaking into the school or something...
Also, tryouts for the new school Glee group is being held tomorrow, and I'm going for it. Wish me luck. ;-;

Hiya!
My last day for posting in KoTF. To be absolutely honest, I think Saber will beat me by about 30 points or so. I'll be proud for all the winners, and I just wanna say I had a ton of fun in doing all this. It's not too late to climb a little more, though. So good luck, everyone!

Hey.
Yeah, I kind of lost a lot of steam by the end because of a lot of things popping up in my life... and, Metal, in my opinion, I think you're ahead because I really haven't done much posting lately at allllll. We'll just have to see!
So, tryouts were today... I did MUCH better than yesterday, which was nice. Actually was hitting the ball hard in the cages... fun. Tomorrow, half of tryouts is conditioning, which should be a blast. Hurt my hand, though... only a bruise, nothing bad, but it hurts to throw and bat now... oh well!
Wheeeeeeee

Heso! Ah... Wish I could have been more involved. Had hoped to get IPA up and running again, but it just didn't happen... Oh, well. I've already got three KotF titles from previous years, so it's not like I had any real desire to place. But still.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Soo...Where do I begin?
I turned 23 this year. Yay for getting old I guess. I have my GED test this coming April right after Girla's birthday, and even after that, I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. Pretty much every job opportunity out there I don't know jack about, and even if I learned how, I'll probably forget about it the next day. Nothing's changed about me, and nobody cares. I hate it.
But on the bright side, at least I got to drive a golf cart for a little bit.

Hi! Yay, it's my last day of counting posts! Heh, I think both first and third place are going to be close. I haven't done the math yet so while I know who is going to place first and second I'm not sure which is which. Ditto with third, which has several possible candidates. While I can't say I particularily enjoy post counting, it was nice to see things pick up around here.
You know Atma, if you want things to change you've gotta put some effort into it. If you don't think you're qualified for whatever job either find something more entry level or study up (either on your own or in school) and work hard to remember what you learned. Determination and a positive attitude can really make a difference.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
Was a bit frustrated today. So, me and my friend were talking about the DI teams we coach, and if they miraculously won at States and went to Globals, whether they'd go with them or not. For me that was an automatic no--I'd love to, it's so much fun... but it's way too much money. And then my friend was like "Yeah, but my mom wouldn't make me pay any of it, so it doesn't matter to me." and then I just started getting jealous because he gets to do all of these cool things that my parents won't let me do because it costs too much money. And then there's the things that I DO get to do, but I end up paying for a fair portion of it out of my own pocket... and there's not too much money in my pockets to begin with. Like, I got invited to NYLC and NSLC last year, and also some prestigious journalism conference that looked pretty cool... and I couldn't go to any of those because my parents were gonna make me pay a ton out of my pocket, so that I'd be pretty much broke. My friend went to NYLC and had a blast and then he went to London over the summer and saw two plays and then he went to NUTC and he just gets to do ALL THIS COOL STUFF and I'm jealous. PurplePrincess is going to India over the summer... and probably to NYLC as well because she got an invite. And she goes to New York all the time and sees Broadway shows whereas it's my freaking DREAM to see a Broadway show and I've never seen one.
Gah. Sorry, that started to turn into a rant. I'm just... jealous and frusturated. I wanna be able to go to other countries and see Broadway shows and go to all of these conferences for smart people that I get invited to and be able to look at things without saying "Okay, so, how much is this gonna cost me?" Stupid real world.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi!
I'm a little dissapointed in myself in this 3rd nine weeks of the school year... I have 4 A's, 3 B's, and suddenly, a big darn C slapped me across the face. I was only one point away from a B in English, and I'm just a bit upset now I wish I didn't make so many careless mistakes this quarter of the school year. Meh, I'll give it all I got the last nine weeks, I believe I can do it.
Sorry to hear that, Saber. You and I both have a lot going on in our lives. Just have faith, though, you will get your chance to see your very first broadway. :)
Peace out!

Hi! I think I mentioned that I got a whole bunch of manga cheap cause the local Borders is closing. Well, I ended grabbing the first 23 volumes of One Piece (everything prior to the big jump ahead from a couple years back). I already have it all in Shonen Jump, but books are more convenient plus it gives me a good excuse to reread the entire series. Currently in the middle of Arlong Park...
In other news, I'm trying to work on job applications though the last couple of days I've been too busy catching up on things and taking care of stuff for my parents (since they're out of town) to actually get much done. Hopefully today...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Dang, I just realized I haven't been on the Forums in... over two months. Here's a quick update on my life so that you guys know I'm not dead:
- I'm currently doing better in school than I have in over 18 months.
- I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow. Joy.
- I've been driving long enough that it's become boring.
- Placed my pre-order for Portal 2; considering the awesomeness of the demo, I may get Crysis 2 as well.
- I just realized via a different tab that I've returned just in time to miss KOF.
- This crappy song has been stuck in my head all bloody week.
- Erm... brocolli?
That's all for now. TO THE SKIES!!! *Flies away, leaving hole in roof.*
