Well. There are a lot of depressed and sad people here. I feel it is my duty to fix all of your problems. And I can do it, too! With the power of...

Hey.

Ironically enough, I was brought to the point of pure euphoria when I saw that Les Miserables was on TV. The 25th Anniversary cast in concert... in other words... IT'S PRETTY MUCH NEW AHHHHH IT WAS KIND OF THE BEST THING EVER A NEW CAST AND EVEN MORE AWESOME <3 Lea Salonga, who played Eponine in the 10th Anniversary Cast, is now Fantine in the 25th Anniversary Cast and it was so weird to see her as Fantine and not 'Ponine and she's gotten so much older (15 years does that to ya) and it was AMAZING and I only saw part of it because I turned on the TV just as Fantine was dying so I only saw a bit of Lea's winning-ness but she won all the same. Good thing they have it on again later and we recorded it :D

Fweeee I am literally so excited about this~ Les Miserables is the best show ever~

They're doing it this summer, too! Our local community theater is doing a middle school/high school summer camp thing with Les Mis and I want SO BADLY to audition but I'm going away one of the weeks and I've never even been in a musical before, so I doubt I'd be good enough, but at least I would be able to say I tried... one of my best friends is auditioning, and Javert is his dream role, and he's absolutely brilliant and deserves whatever role he wants in that show, so they BETTER cast him as Javert. He's SO excited, it's wonderful. He can't believe his dream role is so close :P

Ahhhhh I should have been studying for SATs but it was LES MIS ON TV!!! And the Eponine was brilliant... I stopped watching after her death because I had better things to do and I recorded it for later... but she was fantastic. Eponine would be my dream role... but I can't really consider her that because I have no hope in hell of ever getting to play her since I've never ACTUALLY been in a musical, but it's nice to imagine.

Her name was Eponine. Her life was cold and dark, yet she was unafraid.~

Hi.

What's up with you guys?

I'm in college now. Second semester. Don't have a job nor a girlfriend, but that's exactly how I want it so it all works out in the end. Other than that, no real interesting status updates.
Just letting you people know that I'm still not dead yet!

Greetings!

Oh gawd, that earthquake. I just when on the internet and there was a notice about the whole earthquake thing. And a tsunami too. I rushed on here hoping that Josiah would give word that he's okay or something ._.

...Okay, Silver, that made me giggle... but is it bad that I don't know what that is...?

I doubt he'd be able to report so easily... from the sounds of it, most lines of communication are down in that whole area. It might be a while before he's able to report. Hoping for the best in the meantime.

EDIT: Scratch that, he posted on facebook an hour ago. Yay, he's not dead!

Hi! Sorry I didn't post here sooner. The internet is actually working just fine (though the cell networks have been overloaded to the point of uselessness). But yeah, the quake was 8.9 but the epicenter was up north, nowhere near Tokyo. In Tokyo it shook things up (stuff was knocked off shelves) and started a couple fires because of that (nothing major, as far as I know). The biggest problem in this part of the country is that all the trains were shut down so I had to walk a bit over 11 miles to get back to my apartment from work (roads were gridlocked, so buses were useless). By the time I got back it was already pretty late and then I had to call my parents and go through my e-mail (one of which led to me making that Facebook post) and stuff before I could get on the forums. So yeah, I'm tired but ok (as is everyone I know). I'd go into more detail about the quake, but I already wrote quite a lot about it for my new travelogue entry on PV so you can read it there. Right now, I really need to get some sleep.

Oh, but before I go, it's nice to see you back, Sims!

Moi,

Ah, Good to see you're not dead or anything Josiah! It appers everyone else was worried about you!

Man, I probably couldn't have walked 11 miles with crowded sidewalks and stuff. Way to chlaustrophbia inducing and tiring....If I had a good street bike, maybe.

I was wondering if The U.S. would get some shakes, considering how big the quake was. I guess it didn't. Either that, or I was asleep during it. (which would bum me out some. The only earthquake I've experianced that I actually felt was that small earthquake in the Nor'east last year.) I was up untill 2:30am last night watching all of the tsunami damage taking place. I was quite tired during the first part of today. Not to bad since today was a half day, though. (It's like the teachers knew about the coming earthquake at least 8 months in advance....just so I could come home and rest.)

And yes, since today was a half day, it does mean I home now, and might be going to take a nap soon....Or I could just stay up, watch some political news, put on some inscense, have lunch, and stay on the internet the rest of the day...yeah, that sounds good.

Hello!
:D He lives!

So everyone is school was talking about that earthquake. In English, we were doing nothing but watching a bunch of videos of the Tsunami, and earthquake, and the fires too. ;-; We got nothing done today.

Nothing eventful happened either. EVERYONE JUST TALKED ABOUT THAT EARTHQUAKE.

Oh my god Silver Ivankov dancing.

Good to see you, Sims. Figuratively speaking, as I can't actually see you.

Glad to hear you're okay, Josiah. Man, sounds like you had a tough time getting back to your apartment though. 11 hours! But at least your area wasn't affected too badly, though the whole shutting down of the trains though must have been pretty serious.

Holy crap, Josiah! Thank goodness you're okay.

Yeah, my plans for the summer may have just got ruined... Did I ever tell anybody my family and I are vacationing to Japan in the summer? Yeah, Mother Nature slapped me in the face so hard today... I hope everyone in Japan is okay, though, as well as Hawaii and the whole American West Coast (if they were hit that bad.) Meh, other than that this week has been pretty rough for me... I don't want to talk about it much, though.

Prayers to Josiah and all suffering in Japan. Peace out!

Hey.

So, in physics we're learning about waves, so, considering current events, my physics teacher thought it would be prudent to talk about tsunamis and Japan.... awesome. I was kind of worrying all day about Josiah, but I'm glad to hear you're fine :)

SATs ARE TOMORROW AHHHHHHH AWESOME GUYS AWESOME

Also, seeing my friends in HONK tomorrow and then seeing my sister in Mulan on Sunday! I can't picture one of my friends in a musical, I couldn't believe it when I heard he was in HONK. Which is especially why I have to see it.

Oh, and my college future depends on tomorrow. There's also that..... AHHHH

Going to the high school to play at the telethon for show choir later today... whoo.
