On a more upbeat note, I'm getting a new computer! It will be my third Dell laptop. I kinda wanted a desktop, but since I'll probably be moving sometime in the next few months (possibly back to Japan), a laptop is simpler. My current one still runs fine but I've had it for nearly four years at this point and it's starting to have trouble keeping up with some of the higher end graphics, video, and game stuff I do. The new one will be pretty much top of the line (Intel's latest processer, 8 gigs of RAM, blu-ray drive, etc) and should easily last me for the next few years, plus I got a good price. It's supposed to arrive before the end of the month and, while I'm not really looking forward to transfering all my stuff over, Windows Live Sync and Carbonite should make it a lot easier than last time. Next up on my expensive things to buy list, a 360. Though, since I don't really have time to play any games on one right now, I'm not in a big hurry.

A bit late to the rage-party at this point, but I'd like to point out that I live in Canada, where the health care is free, gay marriage is legal and you only have to be 19 to drink beer. And I love it! *Chugs maple syrup.*

In other news, yesterday I got an email stating that I had been suspended from World Of Warcraft, which is curious considering that I haven't played WoW for months. This means that either Blizzard had screwed something up, or my Battle.Net account has been hacked. I sent an email to customer service, so hopefully they can help sort everything out.

Also, I turn 17 in nine days. w00tang.

Actually in Alberta you can drink when you're 18! We get a lot of people from Edmonton and Calgary at my university and it's always funny seeing them flip out at the school pub when they're told they can't drink because they're only 18

So I got a callback from one of the places I dumped my resume at - unfortunately, after researching them it looks like they're involved in some sort of pyramid scam or something. Back to the hunt I suppose...

Hi! Speaking of scams, I've gotten several e-mails saying that my WoW account was suspended. Thing is, I don't play WoW and never have. Sending out phony MMO account warnings is a recent phishing scam. They want you to reply to the e-mail and give them info like your user name, password, credit card, etc. Chances are that your warning was the same thing, Doodle.
