Hey!
Sorry to hear about your dad, Josiah, but you're right about the lemon zest, but I prefer orange myself ;)

I don't hassle with itunes =.= Gah, I don't even have an ipod, so I just un-installed it (I think, it's been awhile). My Walkman is 10x better, in the sense that you can drag and drop pictures and music. Well, videos too, but it's almost impossible to convert videos into the playable type for Walkmans. See, there are 3 different .Mp4 formats, 1 is common A/V format, 2 is Sony PSP format and 3 is Sony Walkman format; The dumbest part is, if your converter converts whatever.flv (flash) to whatever.mp4 (psp version) it WONT work on a walkman. You have to have a special converter for walkman, and the one supplied with the actual item, doesn't work! And online ones cost $20+ =.= Unless, of course, you constantly use free trials that "Will cut half the video if under 5 minutes long or, if over 5 minutes, will stop at 5 minutes." or will put a huge, obvious water mark that covers up almost all the video anyways =.= Gah... infernal video conversion programs...

Greetings!

Sorry about your dad, Josiah. And hopefully one of these days when I'm not too busy I'll get back to work on my comics.

And for Saber, I only have AP World History right now. Just about all my other classes are Pre-AP. :(

Anywho. I already spent 2 hours doing homework today and reading. Now I'm practicing tennis in the garage and playing the piano. What am I focusing on right now? Well, school being one of them, but now I'm trying to do a piano cover for Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven." If anybody wants to listen to it, PM me anytime. Though the bad thing is, I probably won't be through with it until about Christmas... lol, but I'm very motivated into doing this. Wish me luck!

Hey.

There's an AP World History? Huh. I'm taking AP US History this year... need to write that goshdarn essay...

So, it rained all day. And we still marched outside as scheduled. Awesome!

It wasn't bad until the last session at 6:30... by 8:00 my waterproof jacket had been soaked through and I was freezing and cold and sad. Until then, it had been alright... but he did save us and cut off practice 45 mins early at like 8:30. Went home and took a warm shower... much better now :)

Ugh... as an assistant drum major, though, whenever I mess up in drill, I often get the whole "C'mon, you're leadership now!" thing from the staff... It's not like being an ADM means much other than running warm ups, honestly, and a chance to conduct one song, which I don't think he's doing this year since all the ADMs are juniors. However, the staff has also pointed to me for the newbies to look at for proper marching abilities... soyeah.

Our show is weird this year... Four Seasons. Like Vivaldi, except not. It's Vivaldi... but with other stuff mixed in. Kinda strange, but, then again, our band director always does weird shows...

Hi! I don't have an ipod either, I've got a Creative Zen. While I'll admit that Apple makes nice stuff, they do a lot of things that bug me (DRM, lack of Flash support, general aura of superiority, not entirely true ads, etc) so I'm not a fan. I'll likely be uninstalling itunes once I get that music I bought transfered over. Unless I decide to keep it around for the free song of the week...

HiIiIiIiii....

Ehhh....I think forcing myself to stay up untill 10:00pm tonight when I got up at 5:30pm yesterday and having an exessive amount of sugar is not the best way to stay up.... O.o

Dear Catapults, i'm jittery right now. I'm typing faster then my brain is thinking, and making more typos then I usually do....maybe this was not the best idea...

Heh, anyway, other then my exessive jitteryness, massive amount of typos that i'm most likely not going to notice, and lack of coffee, I'm pretty much just waiting for my summer vacation to end...I'm almost caught up in my last book I need to read this summer, The Count of Monte Cristo, I already got most of my school supplies ready, and other I'm going to need to have ready....

Well....to calm myself down...I think I'll play some videogames...or something like that...

Hey.

Band camp is over! Last night, we had an overnight at the school (we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail... it was EPICNESS, been way too long since I've seen that movie) for band camp, then some drill today, and then we went to the beach! The waves were a lot higher than I've ever seen them here... it was AWESOME! You'd see a wave coming and be like "OH CRAP" and then be scared out of your wits... it was wonderful :D I got nailed by a few waves... tossed into the ground and totally beaten up... especially one time when I was just recovering from a wave taller than me, and another wave hit me. Tossed under the waves again. Eh, long as you close your eyes and hold your breath for a few seconds and just ride it out, you're fine. Scariest part is turning your head up and seeing a wave about to crest and thinking "there is nothing I can do about this it's gonna hit me.... OH. SHNAP." Anywho, after getting hit by two waves in a row, I got soooooooo much sand in my swimsuit... literall a clump as large as two fists collected at my tummy. I obviously had to go around and show everyone... they were highly amused by my sand baby :P

Anywho, band camp was a lot of fun... and so was beach day, except for my being burned... and being decked by several waves. And also trying to ride on top of a wave, but riding too long and getting smacked down. STILL SUPER FUN

Ugh... homework :( School in less than a week... that's not fun :(

Hi! I'm back from Steamboat and trying to get a lot of work done before Wednesday when I'm going to visit my grandparents in PA for a week. Could be a fun trip. I usually enjoy visiting them though things will be a bit different this time around since I'll be on my own (it used to be more of a family trip) and they're in an assisted living home now so I'll be staying with my mom's counsin's family. But I'm still gonna try and get to the Amazing Maize Maze and Hershey Park while I'm there. Then there's that awesome ice cream place nearby, which I'll probably go to several times... But anyway, lots of work to do and all that. I'll catch up on forum stuff sometime tonight.

Konbanwa.

Whoo, I'm more or less back from my Huang He trip. Plus maybe a cold and some leftover altitude sickness. 4300 meters above sea level was not fun... I didn't even get to see the river source because that would've involved going up another 900 meters, and I was at my personal limit already. @_@

I've managed to pick up a new interest over the past two weeks or so. Darker Than Black is really awesome. x3 I particularly enjoyed season one.

Also, no new One Piece manga for four weeks. I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing, since it's going into, like, some sort of typical time-skip training period. Good, because then we don't have to sit through the entire training process and can have something to look forward to (as in, how much better everyone's gotten) once it resumes. Bad, because then we don't get anything during those weeks. :<
Ah well, I've been going off patchy/nonexistent Internet for about two months now. I can survive four weeks of no One Piece. Probably. ._.

Hey!

Thew... That finishes my trolling of the Game Time threads for one day. Hopefully I haven't broken anybody's spirits, yet. However, now that school's done for the week, I guess I can spend time relaxing? Nope. I have 41 pages of homework to read, sadly. I'll start on it tomorrow, though. Goodnight.

Hi! I just learned there's a messianic congregation in Sendai Japan. Which means I can expand the section of Japan that I'm willing to work in. Not that I'm sure I'll be getting a job in Japan, as oppossed to the US, but it's good to know.

BLUH! I swear all the companies in the world team up together just so they can send you masses of bills all at the exact same time... paid 2 more deposits for school (the meal plan and the textbook reservation) and the day after it my camera finally came (I had thought it wasn't coming for weeks to be honest) and billed me for it the same day. There goes all the money I've saved up. :-/

On brighter news, as stated above, I have a DSLR! It's beautiful and I love it ;-D With any luck I'll even be able to get a job on a cruise ship next summer - one of my customers was on shore leave from his cruise boat and told me what I'd need to do to get hired (an SLR with a big fancy-looking lens and a big fancy-looking flash, and at least some experience with photography). It's nice being able to look forward to that sort of potential job, but I have a feeling I'd get really fat from all the food they give people on those boats

Hi! A cruise ship photographer, huh? That sounds like a fun job...

Don't worry NG, I haven't forgotten Portal Panic. In fact, I'll be posting an update shortly. There's two reasons it took so long. First, I've been busy. Secondly, I was waiting to see if anyone else in Metal's group would post, but they haven't so...

I found an interesting looking fantasy novel in the store today. Looks something along the lines of Charlie's Angels but in a fairy tale world and the heroines are Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Sounds amusing at the very least, so I got it for something to read on my PA trip.

Goedenavond! I discovered a website called http://www.Godhatestheworld.com, run by the lovely folks at Westboro Baptist Church. It includes a list of countries and a series of paragraphs stating why each one is hated by God. Great material if you're in the mood for a laugh... or a Rage. Doei!
