Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Yeah, post formatting codes on the old forms were a bit differen than those on phpbb so the upgrade left lots of span tags for colored text. Unfortunately, there's no way to fix that short of editing it all by hand. As for ROM itself... At the moment, Silver and myself are the only remaining members of ROM 4 that still post frequently on the forums. Because of that, kinda took over not too long ago and was doing really big ROM posts to advance the story along and get it towards the ending. However, I got busy with my book and other real life stuff which is why there hasn't been a new post for a while. I'll try to get one up soon though.
As for Umineko... I'm still waiting for them set a release date for the final Higurashi chapter. Umineko is definately on my list of things to play afterwards, but I might work my way through Kanon first.

Oi. I should get away from my computer. Stayed up late, ended up waking early, and I've had way too much coffee. Happy third of July! I won't be here until late tomorrow as I'm going to Hershey Park.
Mmm-kay. I'm going to stop posting like a loon, and get some unproductive work done.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Heya!
I am returned! South Dakota was AMAZING! The scenery was BEAUTIFUL. We got to go on a hike through the badlands... they were freaking amazing. It was so sad seeing a lot of the poverty there... but it felt really great to help out.
So, for my jobs on Pine Ridge reservation, one day I got to skirt a trailer (it would cut the guy's energy's cost by two-thirds, which is awesome), the next day I got to mow the grass at the Wounded Knee graveyard (which was kind of AWESOME, but we were warned that some Indians might come to us and not be too happy that WHITE people were mowing there, so there was a cop nearby just in case...) and then we dug a hole for an outhouse... the kids there were SO NICE, they were adorable! And one of them randomly took out his Pokewalker and I was like OMG YOU ARE WIN but I didn't have my Pokewalker and he was like "Wow, I didn't think someone as old as you would like Pokemon" and I was like "I'm not old, waaaaaaaah" but it was more like "Uhm, no, Pokemon are AWESOME!" so then we went to their trailer and looked at their puppies (speaking of puppies, we saw these two girls sitting outside a store with a box with two puppies in it for sale... the parent dogs were around and they had ringworm :( It was so sad...) and he got his DS and was like "I have Groudon and Moltres and Mewtwo and Articuno and Entei, and I'm looking for Zapdos" and I was like "You're wicked cool" and he has like 4 DS games because they can't afford any more and I felt really bad that I have more Pokemon games than he has games overall and he asked for my email because he has no one to talk Pokemon with and I don't think I have used a period in a very long time. Then, we built outhouses, which was fun. I got to use a drill and a jigsaw and a circular saw >:) I mean.... :)
But, overall, it was an incredible expereince. I bought so many cool crafts there, everyone was so nice, and I learned a bunch. It was awesome. Time to adjust back to 2 hours into the future...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! You live near Hershey, Poik? My grandparents are only about 40 minutes from there and I used to go every year when we visited them. There and the Amazing Maize Maze at Cherry Crest Farm. Fun times... Unfortunately, due to a combination of things (working in Japan, getting my master's, and my grandparents actually living out here for a year at one point) it's been several years since I was last there. I might go visit them later this summer though, depending on how the whole job situation goes. I wonder if I could time it so I could go to Otakon too... *Checks dates.* Darn, probably not.

I live an hour and a half away, about. Haven't been since middle school as far as I remember. And I've never been to that Amazing Maize Maze, but I see you liked it quite a bit.
I was going to find a way into Otakon with some people from VT, but that fell through. I hear it's not the best con to go to for a first con, but I think the people who said that prefer smaller cons. Yes, I've never been to a convention.

Otakon was my first real convention, and I absolutely loved it.
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Yes, The Amazing Maize Maze is awesome. Much more so than my Misadventure version.
Otakon was my first anime con and I thought it was pretty awesome. Depends what you prefer I guess. Personally, after a few years of small cons in Arizona, I'd much rather go to a big one for a change (though a couple of those small ones were really good). But anyway, here's a quick pros and cons list.
Big Cons:
+You never run out of things to do.
+Enormous variety of games, sessons, and screening rooms.
+Awesome vendor selection.
+Better chance of really famous guests.
-Very crowed and crazy (though that could be a plus if you like watching cosplayers).
-You probably won't have time to see and do everything you want to.
Small Cons:
+Quicker and easier to get around.
+Easier to meet and chat with people.
+You have a better chance of winning tournaments and contests.
-A lot less stuff to do.
-Sesson and activity quality can be very hit or miss.
-General organization and scheduling is very hit or miss (depending on the con).
-Vendor selection is iffy.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi!
Wow, Saber, that sounded like what my parents tried to make Honduras sound like when I first cam down here for 10 days (October, for 10 days in '08) So I was a bit disappointed. Then they told me they wanted to move here. Yea.
Anyways, I have appeared to have missed another good convention :( I've always wanted to go to one, but I've never actually been, ever. Does anyone have any recommendation?
When I was in Virgina last year I heard they were having neko-con up there but I couldn't go because it started like a week after we had to leave :(
Anyways, the beach was fun~ I got to ride inside the cab there and back, which now I'm reconsidering if it was a privilege or a punishment considering the conditions >>' But I got kinda lucky cause I got to ride inside the cab on the way home when it started raining, so everyone but me and the adults were soaked :P I got a bit sunburnt unfortunately but not as bad as my sister, she put like 5 tons of sunscreen on and she got cooked! I mean like, sticking a roast in the oven cooked XD I forgot to put any on until I was a little burnt, but I actually didn't 'forget', it was more that I was avoiding it. I hate sunscreen, it's sticky, stinky and you can't do anything for like 15 minutes until it dries. But luckily I was able to walk down the beach aways, where no body goes except to litter (shame >.<) and I found this amazing, beautiful cove that seemed like something out of a fantasy film or novel or something~ I brought the camcorder so I can upload the video to y-tube and link it here sometime soon~ Also, near were 'base' was, a long time ago someone had built a house like right on the ocean, so they could park boats inside it, and it was atleast 3 stories tall, the first being almost completely under the sand, only about two feet until the roof goes under, the second floor has collapsed on top of the roof of the 1st floor and on top of that I found alot of tiling for showers go some video of that at one point. I crawled into the small space where the first floor was almost under (it was about 3 feet in some places) and grabbed some of the rubble with tile still on it, it looks really cool and all, but the persons taste was horrible, I'll get some pictures of the pieces I brought back and post them in my art thread later~
Ok, well I need to get back to catching up on the comic, wrighting more story to my role-play and drawing things for my role-play. Oh and you guys should check my idea for my new role-play in the "New RP Discussion Thread". Yea...

'Ello. Passed my driver's test and got my license, started a summer class at a nearby community college, cleaned up my desk for once, and...a whole bunch of other stuff. Definitely hasn't been a boring summer so far.

Hola!
That's cool foggy! I feel like calling you foggy because that's the first nickname that came to my mind for you :P
In November I'm gonna turn 15 (wow, I feel like yesterday I was 13...) so I'll be able to try for my learners permit~
I've finished catching up on the comic just now too, so I'm gonna have to wait awhile before I read it again, unless, you know, I read it every day... I noticed that the money gauge is $6 away from getting the next part to Josiah's sprite guide so I feel like donating some soon~ I think what I'll do is go get a 2k Wii points card and just PM Josiah the code of it, if that's ok with you, J. I'm kinda anxious to see the next part of the guide~
On other news... oh wait, I haven't done anything else since last night so... bye!

Hi Hi!
Happy Fifth of July!...What? I'm only...an hour late...Yeah, I Watching a scary movie...so yeah...Well, I'm not getting to bed for a while now, plus I've got literaly nothing to talk about. Exept that the fireworks I saw were...satisfactory. I've seen better, plus...My ears actually hurt now. That is the only part of fireworks I don't like. They're so loud.

'Ello. I went to a carnival with a friend for the first time today. It was pretty awesome, even if I did feel a bit nauseous after some of the rides. The firework show is still the best part, though. Fun day~
