Is anyone else watching the World Cup? It's been weird. First there was nothing but ties, except for when Germany killed Australia. Then there was that goal England's goalie let in. And Korea scored on Brazil with two minutes to go (but Brazil still won). Then Spain lost to Switzerland. And South Africa lost to Uruguay and had their goalie red carded.

Haven't been watching too much... but... yeaaaaaaah, basically. England's goalie... I feel so bad for the dude. And Spain lost. Whaaaaaaaa.... And Germany owned up.

So... finals are today. And I fell alseep in my clothes last night while studying. And I have a headache, a cough, a runny nose, and a sore throat. TODAY WILL BE FUN.

Anyone who follows hockey at all is gonna have the same reaction to this.

Last night the Montreal Canadiens traded Jaroslav frickin' Halak to the St. Louis Blues for two prospects. This being after Halak lead the Canadiens to the eastern Conference finals with a .923 save percentage, beating the #1 seeded Washington Capitals and defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins along the way.

This is... unacceptable. It's like Patrick Roy all over again.

If I were Pierre Gauthier right now I would be fearing for my life, because Habs nation is gonna be pissed...

I gots the job! It's comfirmed! Working as Pastry Chef at a very nice French Restaurant name Belle Epoque (Epoque being very annoying to pronouce if you haven't heared it. Its kind of like 'ee-poua' or something like that...).

And I've kind of been keeping with the world cup, I'm not into it myself but the breakfast chef at work loves soccer. And yeah we got absaloutly powned by Germany, 4 - nill, just fail... And the Breaky chef was very sad when france lost their game (Can't remeber who they were playing against though).

'Lo, peeps. My mum won a raffle for some tickets for Monster Spectacular few days ago, so last night me and one of my buddies went to Scotiabank Place to watch a bunch of giant trucks wreck stuff. T'was awesome.

Hi! Congrats, Kaida! That sounds like a fun job (at least to me).

Since I'm taking weekends off from work on my book, I'm going to see the Karate Kid today. Hopefully I can get to Toy Story 3 soon as well (maybe later this week or early next week).

Congrats Kaida! I'm with Josiah. The job sounds like fun. But then again, I've never had a job that required cooking. I worked at a stand at a fair once where I had to fill cups with lemonade. Does that count?

So we had a party yesterday. We set up a bunch of music stuff (drum set, amps, microphones, etc.) and random talented people we know played music for us, including a local band. My Dad, with two of my brothers and a singer guy he met, had been practicing for over two weeks for this, so they sounded great. It was a fun time.
Then, around 10:30 or so, a police officer comes to our door. Our neighbor filed a nose complaint.
Noise restrictions around here start at ten at night, and we were done playing around 9:30 or so. We weren't even being particularly loud. No one else around us was upset about it. I just think he was angry cause he wasn't invited. But he never invites us to his parties. Truth is his family and ours have kinda been in a feud. But hey, he started it. Luckily they're not from around here so they're only down for the summer, and sometimes Christmas break.

Hi! I saw the new Karate Kid yesterday. It was pretty good, despite a few ridiculous moves and the fact that he learns kung-fu, not karate. Today though it's back to work. Got a book to write and all that.

So not much really happening. Although Robert was breeding for Elekid last night and he hatched a shiny Elekid. heard of people breeding shineys before, never met/seen one till now though. I also know that it is possible now. ^_^

Hi! Your odds of hatching a shiny are actually significantly better than your odds of encountering one in the wild, though they're still extremely low.
