Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
Well... today's the day we go to all our last semester classes to get all our teacher reccomendations... really, theoretically, I don't need to go back... my english and ss class was year round, so I got that. I'm taking another math class this semester, so I got that. And, at least last year, it was the physical sci teacher, not the enviornmental sci teacher, that signed off for chem. It doesn't make much sense for my bio teacher to say I'm good at math and can take chem and AP Physics B. So... yeah.... gotta see who signs off on those two.
Well... here's to hoping that my schedule works out as planned.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! Quick highlights of my trip now that I have a bit of time to spare (I'll be writing more details about it in Monday's PV news post).
Wednesday: Checked out San Francisco's Japan town, bought some soundtracks and other stuff, met up with some friends from college.
Thursday: Spent most of the day talking to people in the conference's career pavillion, came in a very close second in a Buzz! tournament, went to the game developers' choice awards.
Friday: Talked for a few more recruiters, looked around the expo, won a copy of Buzz! Quiz World in a very close Buzz tournament.
Tonight and tomorrow I'm taking it easy a bit. For religious reasons, I can't work on Saturday so that means I'm skipping the last day of the conference. I don't mind too much though since I only have the expo pass and it only takes 1 - 2 days to finish up with the expo.
Right now I'm working on catching up on all the posts here that I missed over the last few days. Chances aren't I won't finish till sometime tomorrow afternoon. The next bonus challenge will be posted then as well. I know it's rather late, but it's not a challenge that requires all that much time to complete so that souldn't be a problem. Misadventure will start updating again tomorrow as well and, if I have time once I've finished catching up on posts, I'll finally do some RP reviving.
Oh yeah, NG e-mailed me and wanted me to tell you that he's having very serious computer problems and isn't sure when he'll be able to return because of it.

Hey.
Got all of the reccomendations I wanted... it made sense, if I didn't get reccomended for all the high levels I wanted... well, I got an A in all of the classes last semester, and I currently have all A's and one A- this semester, so if they didn't reccomend me for honors and AP... then they would've had some vendetta against me, or something.
But... blah... bad weather today makes me sad. I can't go outside and practie for softball, and the local indoor batting cages are booked. And I don't really wanna run outside in the rain... blarg.

Hi! I didn't realize that today was St. Patrick's Day until I ran into a parade on the way back to my hotel from synagogue. It sure was a long parade. I watched it for around half an hour and still didn't see the end...

Oh, it is? Well that would explain why when my friends and I went to Kelly O'Brien's (awesome Irish restaurant / pub) there was a huge celebration going on

Hi! A friend of my family's makes these cool stained glass style fabric wall hangings as a side business. I made a web site for her to sell them on a while back and she recently started on some game and anime based designers. Check out the first batch.

Hey.
Sorry guys, St. Patrick's day is the 17th...
Anyway, went to my friend's suprise birthday yesterday. T'was a lot of fun, and I got to hang out with a few people I normally don't hang out with. Apparently, I'm likable, who knew? Because two people that just met me that night were like "I wish I met you sooner!", and a couple people who I kinda know were like "omg we need to hang out some time". Overall, fun evening!
Not fun losing an hour, though. Sob.

Heso! Just got Soul Silver.
See you guys in a week.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! Welcome to the forums Allie, and thanks.
I got back from CA ok, but too late to pick up my copy of Heart Gold, so I'll get it tomorrow. Not sure when I'll start playing it though what with Final Fantasy XIII and the fact that I'd really like to finish Disgaea someday soon... If my PSP's batteries run out on the drive to Phoenix on Wednesday though, that'll work.
